Diner Reviews
  • "My husband and I have eaten at several locations of the Melting Pot so we thought this would be a great place to take my sister and fiance while we were in town but needless to say this location was lacking. The waiter seemed bothered by our table of 4 and would not answer menu questions. When the first course arrived he had no explanation of the process so I was left to explain. The glasses were always empty and the check was tossed on the table. I would recommend the Melting Pot as a great place to dine but not this location."

  • "The Melting Pot is a great spot for a night with someone special. There is a great variety of wine, fantastic menu, romantic ambience, and quiet so you can actually have a conversation. Highly recommended if you want a date night."

  • "We went there last Friday, and had an awesome time. The food was good, the experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend."

  • "We have gone to the Melting pot every year for our anniversary and have loved it, till this year. The menu has changed food portions are extremely small compared to what they used to be. We also ended up having good to wait another 45 minutes to get a table away from a table with 3 small kids. The restaurant is not a place you take kids to so that was a little annoying. We love the ambiance but just wasn't as good as we knew it to be I the past"

  • "Not good for groups unles have more cooking pots and space 9 people to a booth were cramped. Also very long dinning time we were there 2.5 hrs. But good food, service and experience dessert is the BEST part."

  • "I loved everything about my experience. It saddens me to know though that the bananas foster desert will no longer be available. That desert is the reason I chose to go to the melting pot."

  • "The service was excellent. The cheese course was excellent as was the chocolate. Disappointed by the meat course. It takes an entire evening to complete the four course meal and we all agreed we would have been happier with just the cheese/chocolate courses."

  • "We always enjoy our time at the Melting Pot, but word of advice to those who have never done fondue, don't go with people you can't talk to for at least 3 hours."

  • "I've been to many of the locations nationwide. The food as usual was very very good. I always know what I'm getting. Makes dinner fun! The location was hard to find and our reservation was at 5, which is opening time. The stairs to get upstairs didn't open until 5 which confused us at first. We were the first table to arrive and stood at the hostess desk for 10 minutes before we were acknowledged and greeted. But overall food was fantastic as usual. However, when we were leaving we were approached by what I'm assuming to be a homeless couple who were also there when we arrived. We were followed to our car and approached at the window. Not such great outside appearance that I'm used to seeing at a melting pot location."

  • "The Melting Pot has recently changed its menu and offerings, as well as other things. They retooled the menu for individuals, and they sized the portions accordingly. The amount offered in the 4 course experience to be just enough to be fully satisfied. The quality of the food is just as good as in the past. There has been a change in ambiance and a big change in the staff. Used to be that the entire staff was professional, courteous, and offered a great presentation. What I and my guests experienced was more of what you would find at cheaper chain restaurants. The front desk seemed distracted and our server was not attentive and spent time just sitting off to the side while we waited for drink refills, the next course, etc."

  • "Went for Sunday afternoon meal. Service was sparce even with the restaurant being ~20% full. Ran out of water several times. Cheese fondue had bad aftertaste and never seemed totally melted. Table was dirty and still had some reminients even after having wait staff reclean. Also had kid themed dinner going on which seemed like a bad idea. Hot surfaces plus kids equals screaming kids after they burn their hands. For the money spent, I would have much preferred to go somewhere else."

  • "The Melting Pot never lets me down. Everything was great from the wait (we got there thirty minutes before our reservation and got seated right away), to the food. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Date night here would be so fun!"

  • "1st time at the Melting Pot and loved the experience. Food was delicious and service was great. My husband surprised me and had the table decorated with rose petals. We had an intimate table. Not sure I would want some of the other tables B/c it was a little noisy. Will definitely go back."

  • "This was the first time for my wife and I to dine here. It was suggested by a friend from work. We were skeptical from some of the reviews. Some had great experiences . Some, not so much. We were seated within 15 minutes from our reservation time. That was ok. We were put in a nice quiet spot. It was our anniversary and it couldn't have been a better spot. Our waiter was very polite and informative. He was perfect for first timers like us. The four course meal was wonderful. All of the flavors from the cheese to the chocolate finish were mouth watering. We had a great time and will be going back soon. All I can say is, I wish I had found this place sooner."

  • "We loved the soothing atmosphere of this restaurant-- it was quiet and pleasant- ideal for an intimate meal with a special someone. The food was very good, especially the cheese and chocolate courses. The only criticism I have is that we felt "forgotten" towards the end of our meal-- a very long wait for our meat course and our dessert course."

  • "We have been to the Melting Pot several times for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. We have always enjoyed the food and dining experience. This time we went with two other couples. One couple and my husband and I were celebrating wedding anniversaries. This was such a fun enjoyable way to get to know other people and to relax and enjoy the food. It is not a quick in and quick out restaurant. You should plan on being there at least a couple of hours and reservations in advance are a good idea."

  • "My main disappointment and that the prices basically went way up from the last time we visited the restaurant. The did away with the "big night out" and there for our overall price for the same experience almost doubled."

  • "The cheddar cheese fondue, salad and chocolate fondue was awesome, I had the sirloin/filet/teriyaki steak and they were not good cuts of meat. A lot of fat and gristle."

  • "Had reservations for my husband's birthday dinner. When we arrived, there was noone waiting, yet it took 30 minutes for us to be seated. During our wait, we got to watch the hostess get in an argument with awaiter and then them act nasty to each other for the rest of our wait. The portions were WAY too small for the price. We are NOT overweight, but we expected to be sated after both the cheese and meat courses, we were not. We were extremely crowded and hot at our table. Our waitress was very nice and very helpful, but she had too many tables and we had to wait for a very long, uncomfortable time between courses. Afterwards my husband said to me "Thank you for the birthday surprise, but let us never go here again"."

  • "Make your reservation ahead of time to get the time you want. It was our Anniversary and they have nice extra's for the romantic, like rose petals, roses, chocolate covered strawberries, ect. So if your gal is begging you to be a tad bit more romantic, this is the place! We had steak and lobster fondue 4 course meal with rose petals and two drinks each for under $200 with a good tip. Gabriel was our server, he was enthusiastic and attentive, great guy. I would recommend anyone who wants a nice date night or special occasion. They are kid friendly also, but they get more open seating, ours was private and off to the side."

  • "We had a reservation for 9pm and weren't seated until around 9:35 and there were plenty of available tables. Once we were seated, the hostess actually ended up serving us because we only wanted dessert. After she gave us our dessert, we never had anyone check on us other than a server dropping off the check!! We stopped her before she ran off so that we could get our drinks refilled and some additional dippers. She refilled those things and no one else ever came back! I was happy this location reopened, but the service is not even close to what it used to be."

  • "Arrived at Restaurant at 6:04 for a 6:00 reservation. Seated at 6:20. Seems to be the norm. The wait staff made up for the incompetent hostess. Food was good but pricey. Noise level was comfortable. The ambience is nice with private tables angled through out the restaurant."

  • "I've never been to a fondu restaurant before. My expectation was that I was going to be served something that I dipped in cheese coming out of a fondu fountain with desert being similar with chocolate. This was not the case. The appetizers were good, bread, veggies and apples to dip in cheese. The entree was a different story. I was a little disturbed to be served seasoned, raw food that I had to cook. It was good, but unexpected. The server gives minimal instructions on how long to cook your food and when we followed them we still had raw chicken. Desert was amazing. Would not eat a meal here again but will definately come back for desert and coffee."

  • "We had a great night at the melting pot and would definitely recommend it for a special occasion or just to try something different. It was very romantic with the added rose petals on the table and dinner was INCREDIBLE!!!!"

  • "We only go here for special occasions because it's relatively expensive, but the food is always excellent and the waitstaff are great too! They now offer everything a la carte. The main benefit to their new way of doing things is that you don't feel tied down to any of their old "suggested" options on the big night out and can always get the cheese/chocolate/proteins you want. Also! No more bickering at the table over protein choices, all proteins for entrees are now chosen, and priced, individually to allow everyone to get the entrée experience they want."

  • "We made reservations and was seated 1/2 late. It took forever to have our order placed. Our server was energetic, friendly and helpful. The cheese fondue was good, but very small. Salads was so - so, not worth their cost, nothing special. Entrees was small and very expensive and dipping causes sound better on paper than what they really tasted. The menu is restricted and if you take the the 4 course meal, you cannot choose your own meats, you have to take their selections. The banana Foster desert was good, although also small. If you are looking for a dinner with a entertainment, rather go to Beni Hana's or Medevil Times. I will not recommend this to any one."

  • "I spent 3 hours in this location for a meal. The tables burner didn't work at the first table and they took 30 minutes to figure a solution. The burners at the new table barely worked and most of the food was luke warm at best. I will give the last server kudos for trying but they were severely understaffed and overworked. The restaurant is tired and old, it feels like my grandmas house, way to dark. It was for a Birithday celebration and I will never be back. For the price of the meal and the service, the place is a mess in my opinion."

  • "We had reservations for 6 at 7 p.m. Saturday for our daughter's 12th birthday. We wanted a fun, interactive food experience, an alternative to a cooking party at home. We arrived at 7. We were not seated until after 7:30, the reason given that there weren't enough menus. Once seated, it was another 15 minutes before a server acknowledged us. When we commented on the wait to be seated and for service, the response was "well, we're just very busy". There were empty tables and a lot of wait staff serving other diners promptly. The food was good, except one of the burners was not working well & the food cooked on that burner resulted in instances of raw food being returned to the oil, a major concern especially with raw shrimp & chicken."

  • "I have made a reservation days in advance and showed up at the restaurant 20 minutes in advance, just to be sure. I have waited more than an hour for my teable until I decided to left. There were people with earlier reservations than mine still in line before me. Since the fiorst time I asked about how long I should wait, the hostess told me 10 minutes. It was crazy. Not coming back for sure."

  • "Oh was so looking forward to eating here for my daughters birthday ! Very disappointed in the food and the prices:(. The cheese fondue was the starter & was not good:(. Bread, broccoli and cauliflower was a huge disappointment. Then cooking your entree & given so many minutes to cook. The best was the chocolate fondue!!!! Our dinner was $113 & could have skipped everything for the dessert!!!"
