The mojo cooking broth was a huge hit, as were all but one of the sauces (the curry). All agreed, though, that the shrimp didn't pair well with any sauce. The chocolate dessert course was all that we'd hoped it would be and more. And to top it all, I was surprised with the most remarkable gin martini I've ever tasted. The entire staff, and especially our waiter, went out of their way to please us. I would give a 4.5 rating if I knew how. The only thing I could honestly complain about was that my Mojito was a tad too minty with not enough citrus to complement it. It is one of our favorite places. Takes about 2 hours to eat since its fondue. Makes for a relaxing evening to just talk, catch up with friends and family. The kids love it too because its fun to cook your own food and use all the dipping sauces. The highlight of the night for us is the "Flaming Turtle" desert. Usually the waiters do some sort of flaming waterfall into the chocolate. Everyone worked together well as a team. I believe we had at least six different employees touch our service in one way or another. Whether it be to clear a plate, bring our dishes, adjust cooking top, fill our drinks or ask how everything was. The food was great, the portions of some items could have been larger. The timing of the service flowed to move everything along timely. Following our recent relocation to Cincinnati, our first trip to the Norwood venue did not disappoint. We were treated to an expanded menu, with notably prompt, pleasant and interactive service, which made his birthday all the more special.
The remaining court boullion - fragrant with the Classic's ingredients - will serve as a marinade for tonight's at-home entree.
