  • "I love everything about this place! The food is amazing (duh!), the atmosphere is perfect, and I've never had bad service there. My last trip was no exception. Our server was Jim and he was the absolute best! He was attentive and funny and very kind. He always made sure we knew what was going on and helped us if we needed it. He was just the best!"

  • "It was Great fun to be able to return to the Melting Pot for my birthday celebration, after having been to your restaurant several years earlier for another birthday dinner with my parents. My brothers, who had never been to the Melting Pot, had fun as well.....teasingly saying....."What? They bring use our food & now we have to cook it?" They were using the timers on their phones for the cook times of the entrees. My steak was melting in my mouth. The chocolate s'more dessert was fun, too. "

  • "Great atmosphere! Dinner took about 2 hours, but it was very relaxed and romantic way to spend our anniversary!"

  • "Probably a little much for our 3-year old, but otherwise a great experience."

  • "This is a place to treat yourself. Indulge. But be ready for a hefty price tag. I had a fifty dollar gift card once and still had to pay fourty when dining for two. Drinks are too high but those chocolate fondues are fanominal. I also love the passion of the staff. Nice place"

  • "I made a reservation for my boyfriends birthday for 9pm on a Friday and we had to wait an hour to get our table. I requested a two rose package and the roses were not even at the table after it took so long to be seated. Our server could not multitask between our table and a table of 8 so we waited about 25-30 minutes before we even met our server and another 15-25 minutes before we got our cheese. After that it took another 15 min for a salad. Once the table of 8 left the service picked up to the point where our server forgot to take our picture (which I also requested in the reservation) so after he gave us our bill I had to go hunt him down. He brought back a old camera took a few pics and went to frame it without our approval"

  • "The Melting Pot is our favorite restaurant. Anytime we have the opportunity for a date night away from the kids, we go there. The food is always phenomenal, we always leave full. Also the servers that we've had have always been great, they really enjoy their job and it shows. However, the last time we went I was SHOCKED by how unprofessional the hostesses were dressed, maybe I don't understand the current fashions for teenager girls. But one of them was wearing leggings (as pants. Leggings are not pants.) They were so thin that you could see EVERYTHING underneath without any intent to look. With those leggings she was wearing just a plain striped casual top, something that resembles pajamas. Totally unprofessional."

  • "I took my fiance to the melting pot to celebrate our one year anniversary. I could not have picked a better restaurant. Every staff member we had contact with was beyond friendly. The way the tables are set up made it seem like we were the only people in there not to mention the food was amazing. The place is a little costly but definitely recommend as a Special occasion or romantic dinner. The food and experience was worth ever penny."

  • "From wine to dessert, MP is our fave when it comes to some place special. The staff is expert in the fondue style, attentive and friendly. The cuts of meat are always excellent and the sauces have a wide appeal."

  • "Service was much better this time than when we came in for valentines day. Out server was very friendly knowledgable and very prompt. Overall he made the experience well worthy it. The food was fantastic"

  • "After taking my daughter to your restaurant for dinner I suggested it to all my friends with girls !! Nice quiet leisurely evening ; great for conversation !"

  • "Quality at the Melting Pot seems to have gone down. The waiter mentioned that the bread had been changed that goes with the cheese; he made it sound like a positive thing. However, it definitely was not as good as the old bread. Cauliflower was no longer a dipping item with the cheese; it has been replaced by large chunks of celery. The dippers for the chocolate have also been changed; no more cheesecake. There were blondies in place of some of the brownies. The cheese fondue and chocolate berry fondue were both very good. The salad sizes were also good."

  • "This was by far the worst experience we have had at the Melting Pot was celebrating my wifes birthday and we order the four course option. The best part of the whole dinner was the cheese fondue and salad!! The meat and the dessert were just plain awful, couldn't believe it considering we have visited this restaurant over 20 times and always have had a good experience but the last 2 times have been just not good---But this last time was downright awful from the food to the waitress service. This could be the last time we ever eat here."

  • "The dim, candlelit atmosphere is perfect for date night or groups. The communal nature of selecting the style of cooking and types of items to cook is fun. The ambiance lends itself to conversation. The fondue cooking method is much more than cheese. Fresh vegetables, meats and decadent chocolate for dessert! Who could ask for more? I recommend the flaming turtle chocolate for the ending course. Really solid place for couples."

  • "It's a food experience. Four courses that take about 2 1/2 hours. I love it and took a friend for the first time. She will be back. A place like no other."

  • "The back room was filled and very loud with all the parties filling the tables. Our server was excellent. The cheese appetizer (spinach artichoke) is always my favorite part of the meal. The special they were running had a nice assortment of meat and shrimp. The milk chocolate dessert was delicious. My only issue is it takes a LONG time to eat everything, which is part of the experience but when I'm done with the 4 course meal I'm still decently hungry."

  • "The intimate setting really allowed my husband and I to rekindle our relationship. Was private seating, the setting was relaxing, and the fondue pot made us communicate. Great dinner. The food was wonderful! We left stuffed but somehow wanted more!"

  • "The Melting Pot if a great spot for a romantic night out or for a night with friends. This night I caught up with friends over some delicious fondue. We love it there, and with the new a la carte menu, you can have a delicious meal of your choice for a very reasonable price."

  • "My boys (10 and 16) chose The Melting Pot for their Birthday Dinner ! This is their second time to the restaurant. They LOVE it! The food is delicious. They had fun trying all of the different sauces and preparing and cooking their meals. Of course the chocolate fondue was a big hit! Definitely a favorite for my boys and family!"

  • "I have heard rave reviews about The Melting Pot but my experience was not what I thought it would be. I had no idea that I would be cooking my own food in boiling flavored water. Also, the thought of raw meat sitting in front of me waiting to be cooked in this water and not really knowing if it would be cooked all the way just did not sit well with me. Maybe I should have done more research on this restaurant before dining in it. The fact that it is so over priced for the amount of food you get and that you are cooking it yourself, does not sit well with me. I will not be back nor will I recommend this place to anyone else."

  • "This was our 40th anniversary and the attention paid by the staff and the excellent food made it a memorable night. This is the second time we have dined at Melting Pot for a special occasion and look forward to the next occasion to do so. (even if we have to make one up!)"

  • "I didn't care for the appetizer cheese fondue. They put way too much wine in it that it became bitter. The entree was similar to beef broth, not cheese fondue at all. You put raw meat in there and cook it yourself. The only thing I thought was ok was the dessert chocolate fondue, which you can easily make at home actually. I wouldn't go there unless there's a special."

  • "Wife and I dined here for our 28th anniversary. It was very romantic. The service was great. Since we had never been before we weren't sure what to do,but the servers explained everything perfectly. We will be back."

  • "Started the evening off with a Lovers Martini. Great cocktail! We enjoyed the 4 course meal that was absolutely delicious. Ambiance was great as well. This is my third visit to this location and I will return whenever I am visiting Cincinnati."

  • "We took our daughter as a reward for her good grades. We also met some other family there as we were close to their home. The ages of our group ranged from 10-52 and we all had a great time. The food was very good."

  • "Dining at the melting pot is an experience which includes excellent food and service. The quality of the food is perfect for the fondue event. The servers, everyone of them, is focused on your personal dining experience and ensuring everyone regardless of age are happy. They also have a comprehensive wine selection. If you choose to try the typical 4 courses, plan on 3 hours."

  • "We love the Melting Pot; however, this experience was a little less than desireable. This was the first time we had gone with another couple. We were confused on how it worked with multiple couples. The waiter serving another large table did a great explanation to his tables; however, our server barely uttered a word. We were told we had to share broth, etc. Since there were four of us cooking at the same time, we had to carefully place our skewers so we wouldn't have to unbury ours from everyone else. Upon leaving, we discovered several other tables had additional electric pots that were brought out to them. It would have been nice to know that was an option. Overall, we enjoyed the food, but the experience could have been a lot better."

  • "I have been to The Melting Pot a couple of times. This occasion was to surprise my girlfriend with a nice Valentine day dinner and it definitely earned me a few brownie point!! However I have enjoyed every visit. The food is great and always great service. Desert is still my favorite!!"

  • "The atmosphere is romantic yet also special. I took my niece there for her 14th birthday and she loved that we cooked our food at the table. The cheese and chocolate fondues are amazing but then so are the salads. The staff was attentive, very polite and personable. We really enjoyed our time there & left with an experience to remember."

  • "Excellent cheese and meat fondues with a variety of sauces. Chocolate fondue is rich and creamy but accompaniments were disappointing...strawberries and rice crispier only. Kiwis, blueberries, pears would make it fantastic."

  • "Went with my wife for our anniversary. Server was amazing for a first time visitor, knowledgeable and patient. Food was delicious through all courses. We didn't hurry nor were we slow and we were there over 2 hours. Personally, factoring in the uniqueness and length of the meal, I think its over priced by a little bit...like 10%. When you are cooking your own food everything is based on time and there are no timers at the table, so make sure your phone is charged or you are just guessing at how long your food has cooked for."

  • "Our dinner experience was delightful. I was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite wine, Cakebread Cellars. Our server was patient and informative as this was my first visit. The food was excellent and unique. I was not as pleased with the noise level as we could hear conversations from 4 tables all around us in the back room. The picture quality of the souvenir photo and frame was not good after 3 takes but it was still a positive experience."

  • "The food was great and we were over stuffed! Even took some teriyaki glaze home! It's our favorite date night there isn't one course of the 4 that isn't amazing and the service is always over the top!"

  • "Absolutely great place to take a date to. We took advantage of not having kids and enjoyed each others company. The wait staff was great, very attentive and professional. The food was really good, we chose to go with the traditional fondue cooking style. Our dinner ended up lasting 3 hours and for a married couple of 11 years, it was well worth the cost. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting something different and special. It is not cheap, but it will be worth the experience."

  • "I recently dined at The Melting Pot for their 21-year anniversary special. A three-course meal for $21.21 was well worth the price, and the food was great. While normally pricey, this restaurant often offers specials for three- and four-course meals, enabling it to be an affordable and delicious point of access on a fairly frequent basis. Would recommend."
