I dined at the Center City MP location on Saturday night, and our server was by far and beyond the best I have ever had at any Melting Pot, and at any restaurant overall. Our server, Alexis, truly went above and beyond to deliver excellent service; she even made two individual chocolate portions when my partner and I were torn between two options. Alexis made our night so special and memorable - we will definitely be back again and be sure to request her for the future!

The service was good, waitress was attentive and polite. The food was fresh, though I wasn't sold on the value. You're doing a lot of "work" at your table, timing how long your food is cooking, fish 90 secs, meet 2 mins, veggies 4 min. And once the meats are in the broth, they all begin to look alike so "what's this?" Is usually heard as each piece is fished out. Overall, the place was nice though very chopped up by rooms/walls. It's kind if a one time thing. Glad I went but no rush to return.

A wonderful experience at The Melting Pot. We have visited many different locations in different states and this location is definitely special. The only negative experience was the bar area. They were not busy and yet we waited at the bar a considerable time for attention and were not checked on again. The service at the table by our server and management made up for the bar experience.

Went here for my wifes' birthday. A beautiful vase of roses was on the table when we arrived. The staff was very friendly and professional. We had a wonderful experience and the food was great. My wife has been wanting to go there for years. I wasn't sure if Fondue was for me, but I really enjoyed it.

We were celebrating our 15th anniversary. We had a lovely booth for 2 built into an alcove so we were hidden from the neighboring tables, which was nice. The food was excellent and well presented. However, our server Mary was disappointing. She forgot to bring out the premium meat platter we added to the cheese course (said she thought someone else was bringing it) and had to be reminded to refill our drinks more than once. When she delivered our main courses she put his in front of me and vice versa (not hard to fix, but annoying). My husband heard another waiter say something about her being new, and boy did it show. We did enjoy the meal, but it would have been nice to have had a better level of service than what we ended up with.

The food itself is nothing special and the prices are rather high, especially considering there is nothing happening in the kitchen....they just serve you cut up pieces of meat and veggies and you cook them in broth at the table. Our 12 year old niece loved it though so it was a nice birthday experience.

We were sat in a secluded booth by the window looking out onto Filbert. It was great to have a little privacy. The noise level was low even though there was a somewhat big party in the same room as us. The waitress was very enthusiastic and sweet. She helped us along the menu and helped us make decisions. It is always a fun date night because you actually get to do something besides sit there. The food is always good and you choose how well you want it done. If no room for dessert, get the chocolate covered strawberries to go.

Small portions. Too expensive for what you get. The 4-course meal is not worth $40. The server spilled ice water all over the back of my shirt and pants. She did apologize and comped my $8 drink. I did not enjoy my meal and evening as I was cold and wet the entire 2 hrs.

We arrived and only waited 45 seconds. We had the cutest table in the corner; very private, very romantic. On the table was a card that said Happy Anniversary and little candle as a gift! It was so sweet, I've never seen another place do that. Our server was great. She was personable, friendly, attentive, and turned out to be living in my (Shannon's) hometown. The food was very good, of course, but I believe that you come to The Melting Pot for the overall experience of cooking and dipping. We give it a 10/10. Thank you to the entire staff for making out first anniversary and Harry's first trip to The Melting Pot so unforgettable and romantic!

I remember the melting pot in chestnut hill- it used to have a much more intimate feel, tables were farther apart, and the plates & utensils were different- the ones at this restaurant are like cafeteria trays. This place is WAY overpriced for the overall experience. The food is OK- the best parts being the salad and the dessert. I don't think I'll ever go back- unless someone else was paying- and even then I'd probably advise them to spend their money elsewhere

We went on a Thursday night for a date night. The two of us did the 4 course experience. It was a lot of food. If you are not a big eater, I would recommend sharing an entree. Also, plan on spending at least 2 hours if you do all 4 courses. The server was very friendly and checked in just enough.

We love the food, the ambiance, and most of all... the dessert! As a "Fondue Fanatic", I received 6 free chocolate covered strawberries on my recent visit which was the perfect was to remember my night out with my friends. The manager on duty visited our table throughout the evening to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Thank you to everyone for making our evening memorable!

Our group decided to make our first City Sips Event of the 2014 season at The Melting Pot. I had been there before so I knew the food was good ,fresh, and fun way to eat it. The drink I had was good. The bartender was very nice and had a great personality. Our server was very efficient refilling bread baskets and vegetable baskets upon request. She was very eager to please and she explained every ingredient as she poured it into the heated pot to make the dipping mixture.

Maybe it's because I already love it, but I had a great experience at the Melting Pot, Center City. Our waitress, Alicia, was very attentive and sweet. She had great suggestions and everything tasted great. We tried the new "classic alpine" cheese fondue, and I didn't feel like I was missing out by not getting my regular choice of fiesta cheese. The only nit-picky thing I will say about the food is that the bread for the cheese was a little stale and that I really missed the cheesecake on the chocolate fondue plate. Otherwise, wonderful experience!

We arrived for our appointment and were warmly greeted by staff and shown to our table. Our server was bright, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food itself was decent, but nothing special to be honest. Choice of a la carte versus the 4-Course Experience was pretty self-explanatory... but wish I'd understood how much food would be served. Could have split the 4-Course rather than ordering individually. In the end the bill was $100, which is a bit much... but no fault of the restaurant really. Besides, the guy panhandling at the 7-Eleven next door was genuinely appreciative. What killed the experience was the fact that no one was around when we left. We could hear them having a good time in the back however. Not a good look.
