The Melting Pot - BreaMy Favorite restaurant now!This was my first time at The Melting Pot and I have to say that I just made this place one of my fav's. Their menu is made for everyone and specially if you are counting WW points! I love their Happy Hour prices too! They enjoyed that they could cook there own food. The server we his name was Matt was very nice and knew his stuff. Was good with helping the kids out with what they would like to eat.

We only go on special occasions because it keeps it in that category. Service was outstanding, food is always on point and portion size always leaves leftovers.
For Mother's Day the restaurant gave moms a complementary Bellini and a reusable shopping bag. I found the gift to be an interesting choice, but perfect for my mom. The bag had a tomato on it and was more garden themed, which was fitting.
Overall, a great time with family and left me with a happy mother on her special day and some wonderful memories.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMYum!My first time here to celebrate my 30th! The service was great; our server was awesome! I can't remember her name :(( we were a group of 8 first-timers and she was really out-going and patient with us. The food was really good! I ordered the 2 entrees w the lobster tale and the portions aren't huge, but it does the trick. I also had the Fiesta cheese. So good!! The dessert (the turtle And I forgot what else) was good! Sweet, obviously, so I didn't eat tooth of it. The portion is big, you can definitely share that. Def give this place a try!! Waiter was very busy...so it felt like it took extra long while waiting for our main entrees. Pleasantly surprised that the food is raw when brought to the table. Alas, the melting pot is what u cook everything in. Lots of neat sauces for dipping. However, all of the food kinda tasted the same after cooking it in the pot. the whole dinner lasts about 2 hrs. This was our first visit and we enjoyed the food, but now that we've been once, when we go back we might do things a little differently - we opted for the 4 course meal which came with cheese fondue, salad, an entree and a chocolate fondue. At Open Table when making my reservation, I mentioned the birthday and also asked for an accessible table. When we arrived, we were seated right away at the nearest table. There was a birthday card for him placed there, and later the owner came by to speak with us. He also brought a little "newspaper" that discussed the important events going on the day my father was born. All of these little touches made for a special birthday for him. The food was also excellent, and our server was very patient and did not rush us whatsoever.
