It was my wife's birthday and The Melting Pot helped to make it a perfect evening. It started with a special little table/booth. The Melting Pot had already placed 3 beautiful red rose buds on the table and that set the tone for the remainder of the evening. Our server (Mike) was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He checked on us regularly without being intrusive. The restaurant manager (Philip) stopped by to wish my wife a happy birthday. BTW, the food was also excellent. The 4 courses came out at the appropriate times and we had plenty to eat. We love the Melting Pot! For her birthday this year, I thought we'd try a different one because the one in King of Prussia seemed a big cramped inside and we had our two year old with us this time.
This Melting Pot was a little bit more open, although parking was a challenge. The atmosphere was good and the service was very good. We ordered the special promotion they had running and really enjoyed all the food that was brought out. There was even some good food choices for our little one.

Both times the staff went above and beyond to make the person celebrating feel special. This was not done in a loud gaudy fashion but in a manner that made the person feel special. The food is absolutely delicious and it's always a fun experience! Our server was fantastic and very accommodating. My nephew wasn't feeling well so him and the manager were able to pack up our chocolate and quickly get us out of the restaurant. You can pick a cheese fondue for an appetizer, a selection of 4 salads, then for the entree about 10 choices of fish, meat, chicken and 4 bouillons to cook your meat with. For dessert, you can choose a few chocoloate fondue ( VERY DELICIOUS).
Even though you are getting small portions, you leave there feeling full. It is all about the variety on your pallette. I had the Love Martini, and it was delicious.

My date and I ordered the same entrée, we chose to do the four course option. We both ordered the same main course which included lobster, chicken and steak. She does not like lobster, so our plan was for me to take her lobster and give her my chicken. The waiter brought out the wrong entrees. When I told him that it wasn't what we had ordered, he didn't offer to get the correct dish, but to just bring out some chicken for her. As it was one of our first dates, I was not going to embarrass her by asking him to take it back. The dish he brought us had duck and pork, two things I am not a fan of. But this place was cool. We got to cook our own food and talk over it. Plus the food was great. The staff was extremely friendly and our server did an amzing job of guiding us through the experience. As first time diners, the menu is a little overwhelming if you dont understand the concept but once our server walked us through it we were fine. Its a little more expensive then other restaurants ( we spent $90 for 2 people but each had 4 courses and alcohol), but so worth every penny.
