I have read many reviews, and I was excited to try it. I agree with most of the ratings and that this is not for every night or weekend dining, but for special occasions and that is because of the cost, tor the two of us. Was 105$ cost of the meal, tip was not included. Our water Taylor was fantastic. He explained the entire process, as long as how long to cook each item The dessert. I can only explain it in 3 words. OH MY GOD I am still salivating over it. We ordered the Flaming Turtle, and at the end we were scraping the bowl trying to get the last drop and if the bowel was not so darned hot, we would have licked it clean...

Since their closing I have been to the Arlington location well over 5 times, every experience I have here is wonderful! When we were directed to our table, there were roses all over the floor and table, with a dozen roses in a beautiful vase that we got to keep! The Arlington Melting Pot is just excellent for special occasions and our dinner was no exception. The greeters and servers were enthusiastic and helpful as always, they always treat us like royalty. When at the Melting Pot, we know that the staff treat everyone like that all the time, and that's service and attitude that is hard to find. And of course, the food is so good you find yourself thinking about it all the time until you can go back for another dinner. The dark, quiet atmosphere is very romantic. Our waiter, Josh, made the experience 10 times better. He was very energetic and excited about what he did. Towards the ended of the evening the service became slower and slower, but that was expected due to the holiday. I'm not sure of his name but the young man providing water was also magnificent! He made sure our glasses never ran dry. And when Josh wasn't there he was. Cheese was good. Dinner was great. And dessert was superb. Unfortunately he's leaving in July of this year so I'd recommend you go get him before you miss out. His overall attitude was outstanding. His knowledge of the menu was outstanding and his ability to really create a special one of a kind evening was like no other I've experienced. It was mine and my wife's 3rd year wedding anniversary and even though the food and overall dinning experience was great having Josh as our server really made it a memorable night. When we arrived, they confirmed our reservations but stated that we still have to wait to til our table is ready-__-. 15 minutes later the host showed us to our table BUT the balloons were not set like I expected it to.
