Diner Reviews
  • "We usually eat here for our anniversary. It's one of our favorites it's nice that they change or rotate the menu so the there's always something new."

  • "Definitely nothing like the one in Las Vegas Nevada. Booths were tiny and literally not convenient at all for 2 people to share a pot of food. Service was mediocre and had to wait for the waiter to refill our drinks. Not worth 100+ dollars for 2 people. We will not return!"
    Dined on 8/9/2014
  • "Too expensive. Food took too long to arrive at table"
    Dined on 8/3/2014
  • "My kids have always wanted to go here but usually it is just my hubby and I that go for a nice romantic dinner. The kids loved the experience but the waiter went way heavy on the garlic so everything was hard to get down on the appetizer. The dessert though was a hit with everyone. So over all it was a great experience."

  • "I havr been to the mealting pot before and every time i go back it never changes, i think that it gets better. I go there for the cheese and chocolate and they are just amazing."
    Dined on 7/31/2014
  • "The food was amazing and the wait staff couldn't have been better. The atmosphere is a bit noisy which was unexpected based on the seating type."
    Dined on 7/28/2014
  • "We like to take the grandkids because it's a style of dining you don't take the time to do very often. There's enough variety so everyone can satisfy their individual taste and have fun."
    Dined on 7/27/2014
  • "The dining style is unique, but the prices are outrageous for fare that is easily matched or even surpassed in quality by ordinary chain restaurants. The feeding of items to a significant other is uniquely romantic however."
    Dined on 7/25/2014
  • "Took my son for his birthday we both loved it. Food wad amazing, service was great."
    Dined on 7/25/2014
  • "We enjoyed our time there and wanted for nothing when we left."
    Dined on 7/20/2014
  • "Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable and made wonderful recommendations. Food was delicious and very filling. We celebrate our wedding anniversary here every year!"
    Dined on 7/20/2014
  • "This was my first time to the Melting Pot. After the recommendation from friends, I would agree with them that the food and experience was tremendous! I will be going back again."
    Dined on 7/19/2014
  • "I love the melting pot it is super yummy everytime we go! We had good service! We do the 4 course dinner and it usually takes atleast 2 hours to eat and go through it all!"
    Dined on 7/19/2014
  • "The entire experience was pretty cool, not the norm. The cheese appetizers were really good, entrees were alright, but the chocolate dessert was amazing! Dipping brownies, rice crispy treats, strawberries, and more in a warm melted chocolate with pecans is the chocolate lovers dream! Paired well with the Decoy wine."
    Dined on 7/19/2014
  • "The food and atmosphere was wonderful I will recommend to others and will eat there again to try other selections!"
    Dined on 7/19/2014
  • "To fully enjoy yourself make sure you have plenty of time to fully enjoy each course. Very relaxing atmosphere, a great overall experience."
    Dined on 7/19/2014
  • "We were seated at a dual-burner table which was just perfect for the four of us. It allowed us more variety and enjoyment. The food was most excellent and the waiter was awesome. It was our kids first experience at The Melting Pot and they really enjoyed it."
    Dined on 7/18/2014
  • "We have been to the Melting Pot many times before, however, to be honest this time was not quite up to snuff. In the past the waiters always seemed confident and outgoing which was a huge reason we liked going there. They always manage to be friendly yet professional. However, this time our waiter was awkward and very timid. Since the waiter is at your table making fondue quite often, this led to very awkward situations. In the future, it would be very smart to filter them a little bit more through experience."

  • "My husband took me to the Melting Pot for my birthday. It was great. We had dined there once before when it was still located in Old Town. I knew I had enjoyed it, so I requested to go there again for my birthday. We both thought it was even better this time. I will certainly return and hopefully not wait so long."
    Dined on 7/13/2014
  • "Incredible experience that I can't wait to share with others. The food was excellent, the service was great. The only drawback for us was the whiney child at another table that left shortly after we started. The tables could use a little separation instead of the crammed diner feel."
    Dined on 7/12/2014
  • "This place never let's me down. Price doesn't matter when it comes to food. They have food for vegans , meat , sea food lovers..... You can never go wrong here. It was date night with just my four year old and I. Best part of tonight's dinner I got to take home 6 chocolate covered strawberries because it's my birthday month!!!! Love it."
    Dined on 7/12/2014
  • "Went not for a special occasion but just to do something special. We each did their four course special, with pacific rim and fondue fusion entrees and the flaming turtle chocolate. Was delicious. Some of the deserts were a little too sweet with that chocolate, esp the ones already incorporating chocolate like brownie, but the fruits and other stuff were decadent. I love the sauces that came with the entrees. Between date and I we used all of them. Very much a great experience."

  • "Had a birthday dinner for three wonderful ladies. Noted it when I made reservation and that staff we very attentive and offered extras for free for the birthday!! it was a great time."
    Dined on 7/9/2014
  • "We go to Melting Pot for special (and romantic) occasions, several times a year, and have always found the food wonderful and the service attentive but never intrusive. The food is fresh, high quality, well presented, and interesting, and nothing beats the fun of fondue! The service is more intimate than at most restaurants, and the staff friendly and efficient without being too much. The ambiance is calm, quiet, and private, making it a great romantic destination, but is also great fun in a more open setting for a group. The wine list is great, and desert ... well who wouldn't like chocolate dipped everything?"
    Dined on 7/6/2014
  • "Everything was excellent. It was a perfect way to celebrate my husband. The food and the service was absolutely wonderful. We were able to spend time together uninterrupted as we don't normally get that kind of alone time. Every time we dine at the Melting Pot it's incredible. We love everything about the place. Thank you for everything and we will be back soon."
    Dined on 7/5/2014
  • "Our waiter James was outstanding. He did a great job and made our visit very good. Food was great and it was a great vibe. We will be back for sure!"
    Dined on 7/1/2014
  • "Overall a fun experience. It was almost too much work, though. The appetizer/cheese, salad and dessert/chocolate are great and just fun. However, I would rather see the main entree come to us cooked."
    Dined on 6/28/2014
  • "Although I can see the appeal for some folks, this format was just not right for us. We did not realize the entree was self-cooked (boiled) raw meat, and that really turned off my wife. Also, the amount of food for the price seemed quite small. Service was good, and the quality of the food was also fine. Just not for everyone."
    Dined on 6/28/2014
  • "The service and food at this Melting Pot is always spot on. We loved our waiter this time around. Our drinks never sat empty. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the noise level. I wish there was a door to every dining area. The bar noise at this new location kind of ruins the romantic level compared to the old location in old town."
    Dined on 6/27/2014
  • "Wonderful food and great service but many servers were interrupting us every few minutes so it was difficult to truly enjoy our rare night out away from children. Our own server did a fantastic job and didn't need the help."
    Dined on 6/25/2014
  • "The service was wonderful. The food was great. Especially enjoyed the tenderness of the duck. The menu has something for everyone's taste. It was an adventure in dining. Enjoyed every minute."
    Dined on 6/23/2014
  • "What a wonderful dining experience. The service was even better, in fact, it was the best! The manager, Tony, was very welcoming and checked on us often. Since it was our 40th wedding anniversary he offered us a complimentary dessert, which we loved . Our server, Nysha (I think that was her name) was very efficient, friendly, and made great recommendations (since it was our first melting pot experience). We definitely recommend The Melting Pot in Albuquerque."
    Dined on 6/23/2014
  • "The food is good but not a primary reason to go. The service was excellent. Its a great place to mix conversation with dinner, especially friendly, informal and/or romantic talk - not so much for business or other serious talk."
    Dined on 6/21/2014
  • "OK so I go to the melting pot about 3 times a year. This time I went the fiesta cheese was off the menu. So we tried the loaded baked potato since there is nothing similar to the fiesta cheese and we are in New Mexico. The baked potato cheese was horrible would never order it again. I usually went just for the cheese portion of the meal and now I don't know if I will be back."

  • "It was my daughter's birthday and The MP was her choice for dinning that evening. We had a wonderful evening. We even got a free coconut margarita (from the manager) because the waitress (great waitress, by the way) forgot to bring the third plate needed. The Yin Yang Martini was our drink for the evening. A little pricey but well worth it."

  • "We were in town for a soccer tournament and wanted to take our group of girls (ages 14-15) for a special night out. We were a group of 21 and were able to get 3 tables all near each other. We had 2 waiters and the service was superb. They were very patient with our girls and with us and everyone enjoyed the food immensely and all had a fun time."
    Dined on 6/19/2014
  • "Delicious and fun. We take the whole family and always enjoy the experience."
    Dined on 6/15/2014
  • "Prompt seating. Clean. Great wine and beverage selection. Wait staff made it fun. Lots of food great eats."
    Dined on 6/7/2014
  • "The food was excellent- the ambiance was perfect as well. Each course was more delicious than the last, and the waiter was very helpful. The location of our table was perfect, quiet and secluded. It was a perfect night out."

  • "My wife and I have been going to the Melting Pot for the last 7 or 8 years of our 13 anniversaries. We are never disappointed and it has become our anniversary dinner tradition. This is a wonderful, romantic, special occasion type of restraunt. Dress up and don't take the kids!"
