The tapas menu is amazing, and it would be very easy to create a whole meal with the variety offered, and the quality was excellent. Service was very good despite the fact that the restaurant was packed full. Would consider trying again. Service was great, despite being very busy. Great place to migrate to, sit down and enjoy outstanding food at reasonable prices in a most pleasant, flower-bedecked atmosphere. I think they offer the best pizzas in town, having tried them all. This particular night was celebrating my daughter-in-law's birthday. A good time was had by all (only three of us this time) and she loved being able to choose her own dessert for her birthday treat! A couple of times, near the bar it was a bit too noisy for chatting with friends. This time we were away from the bar and the noise level was very pleasant.
My husband wasn't sure about a wine so they asked if he wanted a sample before ordering. This was very helpful. All 4 of us ordered different meals and the waitress recommended the Vegetarian for ME, the vegetarian of the group. It was wonderful with just the right amount of feta cheese. We were having such fun that we splurged and split 2 desserts between the 4 of us. Also splurged on wonderful 8 oz. lattes! too much food but it was SO Worth it!! It's always busy and noisy, but there are plenty of places to sit where you can carry on a conversation. The bustle lends energy to the restaurant that is welcoming and friendly. Wait staff are well trained. The menu is so large that there definitely will be something for even the pickiest eater. Prices are reasonable and the food is consistently good. There is a large selection of reasonably-priced wines that complement the menu well. You need a reservation since the Med is one of the most popular restaurants in Boulder and often there are people lined up outside waiting to get in.
