First bite food was very good but too many guests - soup came out cold and had to be reheated. Noise level was really high, had to shout at the people across the table. Not a place for a dinner with conversation near happy hour. Crazy with people.

While a little overwhelmed with the first bite, the staff & servers were excellent. When they recognized I had a nut allergy and had tried to serve me a pistachio cake, they immediately whisked it away and let us pick any dessert we chose. The food, however, was lackluster. The seafood bisque was alright, I did enjoy the crouton in the middle, but once the crouton was gone, the rest of the soup tasted unseasoned. I opted for the mushroom ravioli and my husband had the short rib. My ravioli was just mushrooms stuffed in pasta, not awful, but I could buy the same dish frozen at a grocery store. As for the short rib, the meat itself was cooked fine, but served with a tomato sauce which did not compliment the dish! Overall, we probably won't be going back anytime soon.

Delicious low calorie options. We are older and have trouble hearing in many restaurants, but we're seated in a corner table and could enjoy the atmosphere and still have a pleasant conversation.

After eating the wood-fired pizza at the Boulder Farmer's Market, we wanted to try the main restaurant. Big place with a big menu. Liked that there were families eating there. Made a note it was somewhere we could take the grandson. Then our server forgot our appetizer. When our order arrived we reminded the staff. The server came by and apologized and comp'd the appetizers which arrived when we were finished with our entrees. I ordered grilled vegetable skewers with basmati rice. Rice was over the top with salt. My guest ordered eggplant and enjoyed. Bread was delicious.

I've eaten at the Med probably 10-12 times since I moved to the area and am never disappointed. The food, drinks, and service are always on point. The Happy Hour menu always has something for everyone at a great price and the regular dinner menu is perfect for taking that special someone out on the town. This last time was no exception. We were there to celebrate my pregnant wife's birthday. The bartenders made a delicious non-alcoholic mojito that she loved. The eggplant paremesean was exceptional as was the ravioli and polenta with sausage balls.

The menu is full of very interesting and diverse tasty dishes. However, it was hard to determine how full we'd be from the variety of hot/cold tapas as our group as we decided on entrees. The trouble is the tapas arrive as they're ready, which is nice, but we got fuller and fuller and we ordered entrees before all tapas arrived. That, plus our server forgot a few of them so they arrived even later. A salad ordered with the entrees arrived after we'd all finished our entrees. Our server disappeared for long stretches so it was an uneven experience.

and we were not disappointed. Great way to have a brunch; tapas were wonderful, and the service was timely, efficient, and superb overall. (Tapas require impeccable timing, and Jenna was on it.) Truly a memorable meal; marvelous morsels arrived like clockwork, were scarfed, and the meal moved along superbly. Good work!

Good thing the local gins were so good, because we were seated next to a group with two screaming pre-teen girls, and inattentive parents. Tapas were delicious, and everyone in the group enjoyed their entrees. It would be nice if groups of adults could be seated away from children - especially when reservations are made in advance. It would be a nice option to enjoy food and drinks without children.

This was our first time to the Med. My fiancee and I live in Longmont and were looking for an "off the beaten path" option with local flair. I cannot say we saw options pertinent to Boulder, CO, however we had every option of meat available to us from the tapas menu at reasonable prices. Hangar steaks, taziki sauce, and mussels stole the show. Definitely a gem to this city with so many options.

The service was especially mediocre here, to the point of almost being bad except I've had way worse elsewhere... The guy just didn't care. And the paella was AWFUL!! Bland, flavorless and dry/gummy and mushy. I didn't think it was possible to have paella this bad but they managed it. We went here because we had had decent food here before, either it really was an off night or they've seriously gone downhill...

Excellent service. We had many questions about the menu and the server knew all the answers. I am a chef and appreciate the knowledge he had about the reduction sauce on the menu that my wife didn't understand. I can say that the menu could be simplified or have an alternate English menu. My son's girlfriend only orders the same thing because she can't pronounce some of the orders. Overall, great experience and value for food is excellent.

Took my parents and friends here for dinner. As always the food was great but this was the first time I'd been seated inside (the patio was closed due to weather) and I couldn't get over how loud it was. Even sitting across from people it was difficult to converse. But everyone had an enjoyable time. Additionally, for 9 of us the bill wasn't that bad.

Enjoyed the last of summer summer on the large outdoor patio--lovely with plants, and in a center courtyard, so no street noise or sitting on a cement sidewalk. Appreciated the happy hour menu, same tapas as the regular menu with lower prices. The bacon wrapped dates were so savory. The baked garlic was aromatic and flavorful. Red sangria was fruity and provided a generous serving. The tender belly pork with moroccan spices and chickpeas was delicious. Seafood paella was a hit at our table.
