The food & service were excellent but it was so noisy we could hardly talk. Not a great restaurant for a romantic anniversary dinner.

Took my parents and friends here for dinner. As always the food was great but this was the first time I'd been seated inside (the patio was closed due to weather) and I couldn't get over how loud it was. Even sitting across from people it was difficult to converse. But everyone had an enjoyable time. Additionally, for 9 of us the bill wasn't that bad.

We went to the Med for our anniversary. My wife ordered a chicken dish and I ordered the seafood Paella which is my favorite disk there. The Med never disappoints and that night was no exception. The seafood Paella was simply delicious!

Enjoyed the last of summer summer on the large outdoor patio--lovely with plants, and in a center courtyard, so no street noise or sitting on a cement sidewalk. Appreciated the happy hour menu, same tapas as the regular menu with lower prices. The bacon wrapped dates were so savory. The baked garlic was aromatic and flavorful. Red sangria was fruity and provided a generous serving. The tender belly pork with moroccan spices and chickpeas was delicious. Seafood paella was a hit at our table.

The Med was worthy of the two celebrations we were having: an anniversary and a birthday. 9 people came, only 2 of them had been here before. Our waiter was exceedingly attentive, helpful, and quick to please! The food delicious …. we tried many tapas … and kept trying more! EVERYONE was pleased. We will return!

The food was so delicious. It was my 🎂🎈✨husband's birthday. And he was very happy. We brought our neighbors and they had a great time. The only thing he wished was to have larger chunks of lobster in his 🍝 entrée. I want to try everything on the menu. I'm to tell all my clients what a delicious place this is !👌👏🍴🍷😋

The service was not great. We had a party of six. We felt that we were being rushed out the door when she came three times in a row to get the order then asked if we wanted dessert when everyone was still working on their entree. The food was good but it was very loud and service was just ok.

Don't waste your time. Over priced and poorly executed this place is really just a tourist trap. WAiter messed up every part of our order left us hanging and when food finally came it was the pits. I do give the credit for some good tapas but again service ruined it. Entrees were totally pre cooked and warmed over with no style and lousy execution.

Good experience. We love the tapas idea. We took our kids and It would have been nice to have papers and colors to keep them busy while waiting for the food. The pita bread in several tapas were consistently undercook. They have barely seen the oven.

Our first time at The Med and it was amazing! We had several different tapas and a salad which was a great way to sample many of their different dishes as well as make a wonderful and interesting meal. The food was superb, the presentation of each dish was beautiful and the service was great despite the large number of diners coming and going. The only non-perfect aspect was the noise level, I suppose due to the tile floors, high ceilings and general largeness of the restaurant. The wait staff was attentive, courteous, friendly and fast! We will definitely go there again and bring friends.

Terrific food! We went back for lunch so sampled a number of items - salmone acqua pazza so fresh and delicous, the tapas delicous - loved the beet tapa - not all pizzas are created equal and ours was just delicious. Just super fresh, beautifully prepared dishes. Wish I had this restaurant in my city!!

I've always liked The Med and usually had a good experience, however, last night was appalling. We had a business dinner for 6 people out on the patio and the meals did not arrive anywhere near the same time. The first meal (hangar steak) came at least 15 minutes before anything else. Then the 3 paella's arrived, but it was an additional five+ minutes before the final 2 meals (eggplant parm, and a pasta dish) finally showed up. No apologies, no visit from the manager, no attempt to make it right with desserts or drinks, na da. Inexcusable for a restaurant like The Med.

We've been going to The Med for over 15 years and it has always been one of our favorite restaurants. Something was different these past two times when we went though. The bread wasn't as tasty as before; it was somewhat doughy, not the usual excellent texture with a crunchy crust. Their bread used to be so good that other places in town bought from them. And their margarita pizza also seemed quite doughy; it used to be super thin and full of flavor. Please bring back the crunchy bread and pizza!

  • The perfect place to for summer....

On a warm sunny Boulder summer's evening could there be any better place in Boulder to enjoy dinner with friends than The Med? The food was - once again - excellent, the service impeccable, and the ambiance just about perfect. Of course they screwed up the Open Table reservation (which happens A LOT these days); but managed to squeeze us in, albeit with quite a wait. Highlight was the food and the wine, which has to be about the most reasonably priced of the competitor restaurants nearby. (YES! You know who you are, trying to charge $70+ for pretty average reds; shame on you!!). Our waiter (Gabriel) was attentive and personable - but then in my experience all the staff at The Med are (uniformly) well selected and trained. Excellent evening!
