The Mash House Restaurant and BreweryOne of the best in FayettevilleIn a town filled with mostly chain restaurants and lots of fast food, The Mash House is a notable exception. My fiance and I have been several times and each time has been excellent. The menu is typical of what you'd expect from a steakhouse/brewery but each menu option we've tried has been exceptional. I'm sure there isn't a better steak restaurant in Fayetteville. The service we've had each time has been great and the prices are very good considering how much we've enjoyed it.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMVery Nice RestaurantI took my Mother to the Mash House in Fayetteville for Mother's Day. The service was wonderful and the food was great. The menu had quite a lot of options so there should be something for almost everyone.

She was perky, helpful but not overbearing, and witty. She made our experience on Mother's Day wonderful! Friday night so it was busy and as I had managed to book on-line got our table immediately (un-booked waiting time was 45 mins plus).
Beers tried were the IPA and Irish Red - both excellent. Ordered filet mignon - this will sound unoriginal BUT it really was one of the best steaks ever. I do mean ever - and for an 'old' boy that's a lot of meat tried over the years!!
Other half took the salmon and also enjoyed.

Our waitress Brooke met us at the host table and gave us the best service we have had in a long time. She gave us good descriptions of the dishes and her reccomendations were right on. The timing of the service was right on and this is very important to us. One of the managers came by to see how the experience was going. He was sincere and spent time to listen, not the normal perfunctory quick stop. The outside has room for improvement in that its just tables, chairs ad 2 TVs. A little thought and decor go a long way. If you go, eat indoors for a better experience. The waitress was excellent. The restaurant will let you sample the beers to make sure you get what you want, I did appreciate that. Bragg and chose this at the recommendation of the concierge at Embassy Suites! Granted the noise level was high, but that's what hurt my experience.
I wish there was a way to cut down on the noise during peak dining times.
