"My husband raved about the restaurant most notably the bar scene!!
So we had a business dinner there it was all beyond very good, the service was excellent
The drinks perfect and the wine list is something for everyone. The only disappointment
was the seafood platter it was supposed to be for two and there was three of everything
and it was not good the shrimp were mushy and oysters and clams tasteless.
BUT the rib eye amazing and desserts luscious. Have the red velvet cup cake!!"

"The BAR SCENE IS ALREADY IN FULL SWING WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT 6 ON A WEEK NIGHT. A PHALANX OF GORGEOUS GIRLS AWAIT TO CHECK YOUR COAT AND THEN YOU ARE BROUGHT TO A TABLE AND NOTHING. PERHAPS BECAUSE I ARRIVED AS A SINGLE WOMAN WAITING FOR A FRIEND FOR TEN MINUTES OR SO, BUT NO ONE BOTHERED TO BRING ME WATER AND I HAD TO FLAG DOWN A WAITER FOR A DRINK. ONCE FRIEND ARRIVED AND WE WERE CLEARLY BY THE GLASS GALS SERVICE TAPERED EVEN FURTHER. WHEN ENTREE ARRIVED WITHOUT THE CAVIAR SAUCE THAT WAS THE ENTIRE POINT IT TOOK WAY TOO LONG FOR ANYONE TO ASSIST AS THE WAITER CAME BACK FAR TOO MUCH LONGER AND THE SERVER HAD DROPPED AND RAN. FOOD IS WONDERFUL, PRICEY AND IF YOU ARE A CORPORATE HOT SHOT A GREAT PLACE."

"The epitome of all that is wrong with hotel dining, esp. on the UES: the food is dull and overpriced.

I've been twice, for dinner and brunch. The food is good, and well executed, but unexceptional; there are also misteps.

The Bad
Boring drink menu, leaning towards sweet drinks.
The barbecue sauce with the lamb chops tasted like it was out of a bottle, and added nothing to the dish.
The pastry basket at brunch costs $20, and you get 4 standard items; the free basket at Park Avenue Spring etc. is infinitely more creative and delicious.

The Good
The servers I had were both very nice and knowlegeable.
The Croque Monsieur at brunch was the best I've ever had.
Dessert: excellent souffle and the menu makes me want to try more."
