This time our table shared the plat du charcuterie and the duck rillette, which were great starters. The quince jam served with the charcuterie was delicious--- I wish they sold it. We enjoyed our mains, artic char, lamb shank, and roasted chicken. The service is attentive and informed. Looking forward to the next time. The food is smart, really well executed, and memorable. The only thing that outdoes the menue is the service. The owners of the Marc have successfully assembled one of the best service teams we have ever encountered. They are relaxed and fun, but completely aware and in control of the environment. We noticed at one point, that we recoginzed a number of service staff as having been of our favorites from many other local eateries over the years. The equivalent to a service industry "dream team"! If you are looking for a fine dining experience, with a modern and fun feel. Try the Marc. As that is Claude's old home, he wanted a taste of his Mom's cooking.
Well, as he took a bite he was transported back. So kudos to The Marc and thier fine staff for a wonderful dinner, fantastic service and a trip back to France!
The dish that I had was so good, I wanted to lick my plate. I had to stop myself or they would have had to roll me out of there.
Our server, Brandy, was fantastic as usual and we had a great time.

We had the scallops and steak tartare for appetizers; both were out of this world! Our entrees, the duck and the Arctic Char, were equally delicious and beautifully presented. We don't usually order dessert but couldn't resist the beignets. We were not disappointed! The service was exceptional. Our server was very helpful and attentive but not hovering. Very professional. Our experience at The Marc was exactly what we hoped it would be. We were struck by the enticing smells from this bistro's kitchen when we arrived, and were greeted warmly by the owner. A good start, and we weren't disappointed!
Excellent food and service. Our waitress knew her wines and the menu and was friendly and efficient to boot. Vibrant yet cozy atmosphere. Had the steak tartar, charcuterie, and duck breasts, all perfectly prepared. Wines moderately priced and a nice selection. Lush deserts. The Domaine Chique was a great French blend that paired well with our food. The food was fantastic as usual, possibly a little too much orange in the rillete for my tastes, but that is a personal thing!
The service was friendly and prompt in all the right ways. The host was friendly, approachable and gracious as always. The greatest thing about this place is the unbelievable value that it offers! Three courses, with 3 glasses of wine for 2 people was $145 (with tip)! For the quality of food that the Marc routinely pumps out, this is unbeatable value.

The food was fantastic and was good value. The service was friendly, prompt & helpful. The atmosphere is vibrant and the décor is warm while still being trendy. There was six of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was impeccable in attentiveness, knowledge and personality. Our server was "platinum" in her worth. From observation, so we're the others. We were greeted at the door by the owner, who was friendly and welcoming. After an excellent meal, we were escorted out by the owner, a nice touch.
Rather than trying to crowd the menu with a hundred choices, The Marc kept it nice and focused. It was busy and noisy, service was above par but despite being able to hear everyone's various conversations in detail, which made me very reluctant to discuss work or personal things with my companion for fear the people left and right of us could hear every word as we could hear there's - tables feel WSY too close for my comfort, it was still worth it, I just powered through lunch faster.
