Wanted to try something new and decided to finally go downtown the menu options online sounded delicious but upon our arrival I feel that the price vs the quality was a bit skewed. The uniforms confused me a mix between casual and hoochy. Had to repeatedly ask for water. The food was alright but we were there for Happy Hour and there were only 2 wines by the glass and $2 off overpriced cocktails.

Service was very good, slightly slow, but that's understandable for a Saturday night. Our server was excellent and had a great attitude. The entertainment was a lot of fun and they catered to their audience. Very loud, not a romantic spot, but highly energetic and fun.

We were celebrating our 18th Wedding Anniversary in San Diego and decided on eating somewhere that had character. This place offers that. We were 1/2 hr early before our reservation but they sat us anyway. We were greeted by staff dressed in bordelo attire. Not overdone but done just right with taste. Our server was attentive but not overly attentive which was good. The food and servie of this place was great. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back again for other celebrations.

We went to the Marble Room after an afternoon Padres game. It was almost empty at 7pm, and if we hadn't already made a reservation online we never would have wondered in. There was just no energy inside, but the hostess and waitress were both very nice. Unfortunately, the food was a bit bland. The "spicy" Fire Down Under cocktail had neither fire nor much taste of alcohol. My friend ordered the steak salad. The meat was tough and tasteless. I ordered the caprese salad and the balsamic reduction they used was delicious. My husband had the meatloaf which he said was good, but nothing special. It's probably a great place for tourists because it's theme is cute and the food would not really offend anyone.

I had been here a couple years ago when they had a pianist and the tvs with burlesque dancers and it was amazing. Absolutely fell in love with it. It has made a lot of changes since then, no one pianist or burlesque tv. They have a stage now for bands, but its has changed the way I saw this restaurant originally. The food is really great, but now it seems more like all the other restaurants in Gaslamp. I still recommend this restaurant, but it was much better before the changes. The staff, the decor and the food is really awesome.

Get the waitresses out of the corsets and deliver some decent food. Lemon chicken with capers was tough. The daily pasta tasted like the ingredients came from cans. I wouldn't recommend dinner here. Lunch / burgers might be ok.

We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated at the furthest corner of the restaurant. It took a while for our server to come. We placed all of our order at once to see if we could move things along. Our drinks came followed by appetizers and salads....then about an hour later and many "what is the hold up?" We were told that the orders burned. I won't be going back.

We were in SD for vacation and found The Marble Room on Yelp. It has 4 stars and looked good. The reason we went was for the comment about ice cream sandwiches, which they unfortunately no longer had. They did make up for it however with delicious food and fantastic staff. Our waitress was great. Mom thought she looked like Jennifer Lawerence. Anyways, very cool decor with great food and service, a plus for me. Would recommend anytime.

I have been to the Marble Room before, on a busy Saturday night and the food was fantastic. On my last visit, the restaurant was empty (it was a Sunday) and the service was somewhat slow, although the weight staff was friendly. My appetizer, a capresce salad, was very good. My entrée, NY steak, was tough and hard to eat and was cool/warm, not hot. My dessert, bacon infused brownie, was dry and not very good at all. The middle was a little warm and the outside of the brownie was cold. It tasted more cake-like than brownie-like. The ice cream that topped the brownie was very good. Would I go back to the Marble Room again, probably (if invited by friends) . But, I would only get an appetizer and order a burger and skip the dessert.

I picked The Marble Room for Part 2 of my birthday celebration. I didn’t know much about the place but looking at the website, The Marble Room appeared to be a chill place to watch live music. The food was decent, I ordered the Cajun Chicken Sandwich with a side salad. I asked the server to omit the cheese; however, the sauce was taken off too. I’m sure I would have enjoyed my food a lot better with the sauce. The Caesar salad and the lemon caper chicken my table ordered enjoyed their meals so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. The sweet potato tots with the ginger sauce were also good. The drinks were good and strong but the best part of the night was the live performance. The Mercedes Moore Band was great! I would come back to The Marb

Very unique theme and history to this San Diego Gas Lamp District gem! I had read mixed reviews of the food, but everyone in our party of four was impressed with each part of the dinner. The waitresses and hostesses costumes were sexy, but not in a way that would be found offensive by anyone. The beer and wine list were impressive, and the live music, though a bit loud (definitely more of a show than background type music) was excellent, even to a critical listener like myself! The burlesque show was excellent, with a gorgeous dancer that had clearly refined her act well. I had also read mixed reviews of the service, but we found it to be exceptionally great. Our waitress had zero room for improvement!
