"Easter Brunch. Good for meat eaters. Fresh raspberries, excellent. Desserts very mediocre and old tasting - like they had been sitting there for a long while. The key lime tart/pie was not worth even a bite. Excellent choice of cheeses. We were staying at the Strater and it was a good location for a family brunch."

"It was our anniversary and we chose to spend it at the Mahagony Grill for the second year in a row...we love that place. We are even thinking about making it an annual tradtion. The food was good and the service was great! I also really enjoyed being able to make the reservation on line...quick, easy and I appreciate the reminders."

"Overall the food was good. The elk loin was excellent while the ribeye was a bit too chewy. The tomato bisque was very good, while the tempura asparagus were clumped together so when you pulled on one stalk much of the tempura left the others. The service was friendly and attentive and the opening complimentary rum punch shooter was a pleasant surprise."

"Having recently moved to Durango, this was our first visit and highly rated for atmosphere, food selection (we had the $45 for two special), service (Andy was personable, attentive and fun)...just an overall superb evening. We are planning a return visit on April 19th for the open house and dinner following with a group of friends."

"We had been to the Mahogany Grill before but had stopped going for several years so we thought we would give it another try. We had the local's "date night special" for two: a special 4 course dinner that included a bottle of wine. The food was outstanding. The wait service was excellent. We'd recommend the restaurant to anyone. Our neighbors were there and said they also enjoyed the special."

"We always enjoy our time when we dine at the Mahogany Grille. Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing we notice is the ambience; wood, fresh flowers, excellent lighting, Victorian decor...very elegant but welcoming. The cost for value is appropriate. We usually eat here for special occasions and appreciate the unique menu offerings. This time I had the cobia (fish). It was exceptional - cooked and seasoned perfectly - the side salad was very tasty. My husband had the flatiron which was cooked as ordered and very tasty as well. We are never disappointed with our meal or service at the Mahogany Grille."
