A word from The Madison Bar and Grill
The Madison Bar and Grill is filled with an ambiance and class that is usually reserved for Manhattan eateries. The formal dining room is cleverly decorated in a 1940s style reminiscent of a chic roadside inn. The décor works an evocative, magical mood, with bare wood floors, wainscoted walls, soft lighting and subtle touches from a bygone era.

Patrons can also enjoy The Madison’s eclectic American Cuisine at the bar, or, from April-November, outdoors in an al fresco cafe that wraps around the street corner.

Be sure not to miss The Madison’s Weekly Events, including the Sunday Jazz Brunch, First Seating, Tuesday Night Martini Madness, Thursday Taco Night and Endless Happy Hour. The restaurant also offers Private Parties and Off-Premises Catering.

The Madison Bar and Grill is a great place for families, professionals, romantic dinners or anyone who likes to unwind and enjoy great food, drinks and service in a sophisticated, comfortable eatery.

Diner Reviews
  • "Key lime cheesecake had no flavor need to improve or take off menu completely."

  • "I spent over $160 plus tip for a truly awful meal. Food appeared to be prepared in advance and in bulk. Seemed to have been warmed up in a microwave, not sure, but it was one of the most disappointing "special occasion" dinners I've ever had."

  • "Dinner was delicious and reasonable for quality of food. Make sure you go before 8 for 1/2 price drinks. Ambience is relaxing and warm."

  • "Love the brunch buffet. Great spread and there's a chocolate fondue fountain!"

  • "I've been to Madison's several times (each time being consistent and delicious) and this time was for my birthday dinner. The food was just average. I thought the wasabi grouper was totally lame - there was a little pile of wasabi on the plate which hardly qualified as being "wasabi-flavored". The massive and mushy pile of rice reminded me of food served in a soup kitchen. The portion was entirely too big. I loved the oysters as an appetizer but the quesadilla was also lame. It didn't have that cheesy inside that you want - just dry and under seasoned. Overall, this was disappointing. The service was good but not enough for me to go back again."

  • "Madison's always a great spot to stop in for lunch or enjoy a nice dinner.....service has always been good and the food is as well. Nice menu. When in NYC and you want to get back to the other side of the River, this is the place to go."

  • "Warm inviting staff and consistently good food keeps us coming back to this neighborhood gem."
