A word from The Loose Moose Tap & Grill
Welcome to the new Loose Moose, featuring a brand new menu and the largest draught beer selection in downtown Toronto.

Since pouring our first pint in 1989, a lot has changed at The Loose Moose. And yet, so much has remained the same. Our space is different, but our address isn’t. Our business has grown, but we’re still independent. And now, even with the most draught beers downtown, we’re no beer snobs. Never have been. Never will be.

After all, staying true to yourself is how you make new friends - and keep old ones. Anyone who’s stopped by The Loose Moose to unwind after work, watch the game or make a night of it will tell you the same.

Service was fantastic, they were very accommodating when our group size turned out larger than anticipated. The area we were placed allowed for wandering around so that we could still go talk to our second table of people. Waitresses were very up-beat and quick with orders. My only complaint is that there was not a lot of selection when it comes to food. I ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna BLT Sandwich, and it was not very appetizing. Overall though, I had a good time!

Appetizers was good but ordered sandwich and wasn't tasty as I expected compared to other Tap & Grill places around the area. Ambiance was good and the place it self is roomy and great for big groups. Service was okay but they could do better. It seems that the servers just wasn't in the mood on a Friday night and just chatting with each other with the wait staff instead of checking with customers once in a while.

We were attending a concert at 7:30pm and thought to make reservations for 2 at 6pm. It was a good idea because there was a line up. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated in short order, which was great! A waitress, whom was knowledgeable and friendly gave us some suggestions for food and drink which we took. The order came promptly but it did take a while to get the bill. Other than that I would recommend it, providing you make a reservation.

I picked this place because of its proximity to the ACC. The food was really good, the prices were alright, great wines, and friendly server. I was VERY noisy, though and we were seated at a table with an extremely low couch. The 3 shortest people ended up sitting on it and basically sat eating with our chins on the table. I think once the staff saw how awkward the seating was, they should have moved us. Also, we had one person in our party on crutches. It wasn't the easiest area for him to maneuver in.

This is a great place to watch a game on TV, or pre-post game at the AC or Rogers center. They have a fairly extensive craft beer list compared to most other places in the area which was our main draw. Service was a bit slow, but it was really busy. Food was just ok.

I am a repeat customer, and ordinarily I really enjoy my experience at Loose Moose - they have good, inexpensive food, and a great beer selection (although sometimes it can take a while for drink orders to arrive). On this particular occassion it was a mess. My burger was dry as a bone. Some of my guests received their food over 20 minutes after the rest of us received ours. However, drink orders came fast! Our server was very attentive and apologetic and explained what was going on. We were comped a couple meals and some drinks. I will definitely still go back to Loose Moose, but I had to submit a negative review on this occassion.

Ordered an appetizer (mini hotdogs) and the came out cold. They weren't warm, they were refrigerator cold!! Service for drinks was fast but he only checked on us once re our meal and it was once we were well into it. Wings were okay but my friend did not enjoy her Octoberfest sausage or the tuna tacos. We won't be going back to this restaurant.

This place has such a fun ambiance...I would definitely return for the ambiance, especially if you want to watch a game. Fun vibe. Our waiter wasn't attentive, I don't know if it was because we were in the corner at the table that has the British couch seating and so we weren't very visible...but that was really the only true downside. Other than that we had a good time!

Was seated beside the bar to watch the game. Waited way too long for a server. The hostess came by to check on us and got someone to take our order. One of the bar tenders came to take our drink order and almost 45 mins later, came back to take our food order. Our reservation was for noon Needless to say, we were less than impressed.

Made a reservation a week prior to take my family (4 of us) from out town here before the Jays game (reservation was for noon). From the moment we walked in there was confusion as they had 2 tables booked under my name. Half of us ordered drinks and nachos. Only when the nachos came out did we get half the drinks, and the others ordered theirs. The waitress never came back until the end 1240 with the other 2 drinks and then left and didnt even ask if we wanted to order food. At that point we were fed up and left cash because we couldnt even get the waitress to bring the bill either! Worst service I have ever received at a restaurant.

My co-worker and I ordered salads with chicken and not only were the salads fresh & delicious but the chicken breast was real roast chicken!!! Rare to find in restaurants these days who don't serve processed chicken breast. Our server was super friendly and attentive. She was always smiling and quick with service. I've dined at the Loose Moose before but with the re-vamped menu I think I'll be visiting more often!!

Me and my boyfriend visited the loose moose after the Jays game on a Saturday. Super glad I made reservations because the place was PACKED and they weren't allowing anyone in without a reso. Waitress greeted us and was super energetic and kind. Based on how busy the place was our food came extremely quickly! We both had the woody burger, one of their signature items, and it was incredible! At 14 dollars its a little pricy for a burger, but it was worth every penny! The down side was that it was extremely loud. With the blaring music and packed house of guests, we had to yell to hear each other across a small table. Nevertheless, we both enjoyed it, and we will be back! Great bar scene and lunch spot for post or pre games!

Great spot to be prior to a Jays homegame, just a 5 minute walk to the dome from there. It was a sea of blue and white, huge beer list. The poutine app is really a full meal, and really good. Make sure you book a reservation though if you're going to be there pre-sporting event.

Two weeks before our visit I got an email blast from The Moose to announce a new brunch menu. Sounded great. So we made reservations and went. The menu shows NO sign of the brunch items. I had to specifically ask our server for the details - there are four items named on a table card - but NO details about the food or prices. Our server had to make multiple trips to her manager to get the details. When the food arrived it was good. But not great. And definitely over-priced for what was on the plate.

They have a good number of beers on tap, which is great. The food is nothing to write home about (my date couldn't find anything she liked and ordered something to nibble on, but we had to go somewhere else for another round of food afterwards). Service was reasonable. The TVs in front of me were showing some show about Amish people instead of hockey or baseball for about 15 minutes. We had to ask to have it changed, because the establishment didn't realize.

Went to the loose moose after reading the reviews online regarding the number of TVs and sporting events they play. Although I live in Toronto, I am not a die hard toronto fan and was looking forward to watching a different game. The bar was fairly empty at 730pm on a wednesday, with only a handful of tables being occupied, all the TVs were playing the Toronto Blue Jays or the Raptors. I asked if it would be possible to be sat at a table not in the middle of the bar where they could just change one or two TVs to the Montreal game. A simple request I thought since at this moment there were more TVs than people in the bar. The establishment refused to change the channel on a single TV.
