  • "Converted barn into a restuarant with fresh food! This place was a real gem! We will be back!"

  • "We discovered the Loft almost by chance on a cross country drive. We were staying at a chain hotel in an industrial park surrounded by every imaginable chain restaurant. Then we found the Loft and it was only 10 minutes away!! I'm familiar with the Traders Point brand because I buy their yogurt in my local Whole Foods in Baltimore sogI thought it would be fun to visit...never dreaming that we'd also find a great restaurant on the premises. had our first glass of wine on the deck overlooking the lush farm. Then we went inside to the porch for a delicious meal. De maria was our server and she couldn't have been more accommodating. She even went down to the store, which was closed, and brought us a couple of cheeses to take home."

  • "Traders Point always surpasses my expectations....and I have dined there three (3) times this Winter/Spring of 2014. It is a friendly, casul but tidy country gem. The farm setting is just 1 mile West of the City at 465 and West 86th Street. yet you escape into a true quiet, working farm atmosphere. My only issue is I don;t think of the Loft often enough to attend more often....that is going to change."

  • "There is something so sublime about turning off the interstate and being totally transported into the warmth of the Traders Point Creamery Loft restaurant! The barn that once only hosted an ice cream and retail counter, has grown up into an all seasons, all times of the day bistro with room for groups, romantics, ladies lunching, kids noshing and much more. I never can decide whether I love the brunch, lunch, dinner or in season market days, but every time I pull into the parking lot, it's a delicious adventure."

  • "Much if not all of the food comes from the farm or nearby. It is all fresh and the chef works hard to deliver fun and unusual flavors. The wines are all either non sulfite, GMO or without chemicals. The service is good from when you walk in until you leave. The atmosphere with the farm ambiance makes it feel like you are way out in the country."

  • "Eating on the farm in the peaceful restaurant is a treat. I love how The Loft's simple, clean design and fresh flowers are the basic decor. The food is amazing and the flavors on the plate create stunning combinations of culinary satisfaction. The new porch allows a view of the expansive pasture. My husband and I love the product and the mission. We take our older children and we also go by ourselves. We try to get over to The Loft at least twice a month and give gift cards as a way of exposing the farm to folks."

  • "The food, service, and ambience of The Loft at Trader's Point were all excellent. This was my first visit and I will definitely be back. The food was so fresh and delicious. It was such a pleasant and unique dining experience."

  • "My company had our 2014 yearly kick off dinner in January. The food was excellent. Everyone had their choice from a limited menu and everyone in my earshot loved their food. Then I came in for Sunday brunch recently. I am still dreaming about that breakfast bake. I really try to support local, independent businesses. We have so many talented people in the farm to plate community and that is evident at Trader's Point Creamery. I just love the energy of the place."

  • "Went for a romanic birthday dinner and we were both blown away by the quality of food and the Loft itself. Great music from the two gentlemen playing that evening. We ordered the cheese plate, spring salad, asparagus and broccoli purée soup, seasonal white fish special, and lamb. Of course we topped it off with blueberry and maple, orange liqueur, and pecan pie. Amazing. We will be back!"

  • "We absolutely love The Loft at Traders Point - it is the restaurant we frequent the most. The food is delicious, and it's one of the only restaurants in the Indy area to offer organic, locally sourced food, something very important to us. We love the charming atmosphere, the service is great, and the staff is very friendly."

  • "The Loft at Trader's Point Creamery never disappoints. We live in Champaign, Il and any trip to Indy includes a meal at The Loft."

  • "Love the ambience of the restaurant. 2 of our 6 dinners were marginal. The duck was overdone and tough and the rabbit just tasted strange. Our friend had the lamb and he said it was very good. The cheese board was also very good. Dessert was delicious. We would definately try this restaurant again and hope for better results."

  • "This was my husband and my first time there. The food was delicious! We choose this place as we are trying to eat more organic and gluten free items. We were not disappointed with the menu for this-our cheese board was able to gluten free and both our meals were organic. I had the lamb which was very juicy and cooked to the perfect color. My husband got the duck which was good, as well but not as tasty in our opinions as the lamb. The accompanying portion of the duck was very interesting and tasteful! We did get a bottle of red wine to go with our food and the selection of wines was quite the list and we had a difficult time deciding on the one to get."

  • "The weather was chilly but the restaurant was warm and friendly. The brunch menu was outstanding and food was excellent. There were fresh flowers on the table and you could enjoy a conversation while eating. Looking forward to a warmer evening and possibly dining on the deck."

  • "I was so excited to try out The Loft, being that I've never tried farm to table dining. That along with the fact that most ingredients are organic, and you can trust the sources they get them from. Anyway, the food here is AMAZING! Just about everyone in our group of six ordered something different, and there were no complaints at all. The decor is just beautiful, and the atmosphere so serene. Definitely give it a try!"

  • "Everything I ordered was first rate. Our group of four ordered the cheese board as an appetizer. The portions for this appetizer are intentionally tantalizingly small so would have been better for two than for four. Every cheese served was mouthwatering and left me intent on purchasing some for home! I ordered the broccoli soup, which was not cream or cheese based so I did not know what to expect. It was rich and flavorful yet still healthy. For my main course I ordered the catch of the day, mahi mahi. Sides included wild rice pudding with oyster mushrooms and asparagus. It was truly one of the best fish dishes I have ever eaten and the sides complimented it perfectly!"

  • "Nice to go to a restaurant that prepares local food. Better yet that the chef is excellent. Always a little different than any other restaurant - and always a nice dinner."

  • "My wife and I have eaten here on two occasions - once for dinner and once for Sunday brunch. Both visits provided excellent food and great ambiance for our dining experience. When we had dinner here, we started with the cheese board. My wife tried the bison, and I had filet mignon. Neither disappointed, and it was hands down one of the best filets we have ever tried. We had ice cream and went home feeling like we just had the best meal we've ever had in the state of Indiana. After having such a great dinner experience, we decided to check out their Sunday brunch. Again, both of our meals were delicious. We would say that we enjoyed dinner better than brunch, but both visits provided excellent meals! We will definitely be going back again!"

  • "The meal was good, and we wanted to try some coffee and desert, but our server took so long getting back to us we didn't have time for it. Large party of women right next to us were very loud, but that's just the luck of the draw sometimes."

  • "We went there for my birthday & arrived before 5:45 so that we would receive the 1000 points. We sat in the heated porch area (it would be even better in the summer & fall months when the trees are leafed out). It was half-price bottle of wine night, so we enjoyed a bottle with our dinners. It's a little on the expensive side, but nice for a special occasion."

  • "We were from out of state and wanted to try out the Loft's brunch for our first wedding anniversary. It was definitely a phenomenal choice! We only wish it hadn't been so cold and windy out."

  • "This place has some interesting offerings on the menu, offering its own dairy products from the creamery. the food was interesting and well prepared. The service was warm and friendly and the atmosphere was very comfortable. While we dined in the comfortable rustic dining room, a wonderful musical duo played quietly near the bar. Paul Holdman and Jennifer Devoe played an eclectic range of familiar songs, including everything from a jazz arrangement of the Beatles' "Norwegian Wood" to surf music and Jimi Hendrix. They were so good I would have paid just to listen to them, but they played quietly and unobtrusively, leaving those interested in the dining experience sans serenade able to converse without difficulty."

  • "The updated patio outside, the completed balcony and "roost" are spectacular. Always wonderful staff, to answer questions about some of the finest food in the Midwest. Always a special time."

  • "Started off with very good appetizers- onion tart very flavorful - Wahoo fish entre was very dry and lacked any flavor. not served with any lemons or sauce. We asked for both. That some what helped make the wahoo eatible. Took very long time to have food served. Desserts were tasty but over priced"

  • "Went with three friends to celebrate a 60th birthday. Delicious dishes all around. Mine was the kale salad with grilled salmon. The kale was so fresh and tasty, and the salmon flaky and flavorful. The tostada with black beans was a hit as was the lox benedict. Great bloody marries made from organic ingredients."

  • "Four reconstructed barns form the essential part of this ongoing creamery with a candles and white linen restaurant in the loft.a find. The range of entrees was wonderful. Creative sides. All in all, well worth the drive."

  • "This restaurant has a great ambience. When driving up to it,you know you're going to love sitting and enjoying a meal in this loft style restaurant. The people are very very friendly. The food is outstanding. The waiter was excellent and the bus staff equally efficient and kind. This is a destination worth the drive. we came for Sunday breakfast but are intending to come back for a lunch and even a summertime on the patio experience. You have to check this ace out."

  • "We ordered the rabbit and beef, soup and salad. The salad was quite good, new experience for me(kale? unique dressing). I think the soup was split pea with ham (and something else), it was quite good. I don't believe I am a big fan of rabbit. The accompanied sauce was quite good, but too much gristle for my taste. The beef (sorry no details) seemed dry to me. The sauce was quite good and works to solve this dryness, but there wasn't enough. This was served with a carrot side (quite good) which also serves to fix the dry texture. Also with red cabbage which I enjoyed. I would have used steak sauce with this dish, I didn't ask for any and they didn't provide any. The sauce with the dish, I think, was better than steak sauce."

  • "Attended the beer pairing dinner. EXTREMELY well done, except for slow service, gets a bit cold on the deck and NO SPEAKERS for music out there. Beers and meal: excellent. Atmosphere and service: very lacking."

  • "The atmosphere was very enjoyable as the dining area is in a refurbished but very clean barn. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu & drinks and extremely helpful to us as we made selections. It was a relaxing experience. We dined on a Tuesday evening and it wasn't very busy but our waitress spent more time with us, so we were pleased. Would love to try in the summer when there is more variety of fresh produce. The food was good but we enjoyed the atmosphere more."

  • "My husband & I went for a date night and had a great experience. We ordered the 'yak' special and it was fabulous, we couldn't get enough of it. There were many things on the menu we would have loved to try, so will definitely be going back. Many gluten free options was a plus for us too, and the fresh/local ingredients make it even better."
