Every Friday Night during the Summer Farmers Market, we also serve an Organic set menu "DINNER ON THE DECK" complete with Live Music, outside on our beautiful deck and patio thru Labor Day weekend.



WE ALWAYS ACCEPT RESERVATIONS INSIDE THE LOFT RESTAURANT, BUT WE CANNOT ACCEPT RESERVATIONS FOR THE OUTDOOR DINNER ON THE DECK!



Our menus feature our award winning cheeses, yogurts and ice creams, along with our own 100% Grassfed Beef and pastured pork and chicken. We proudly serve other fresh food from local growers and atisans. Our culinary team proudly serves hand-picked herbs and vegetables from our own garden. Private and custom events accommodated.



Depending on the season we have special offerings including Wild Boar, Yak, Elk, and Ostrich!

  • "I have been a resident of indianapolis and had heard of your establishment for some time. As my birthday and best friend have birthdays a day apart I decided to treat her to lunch. The food was vey good but very expensive for what it was. She had the salmon watercress salad and I had the ploughmans lunch, cheese board and soup. The servings of cheese were extremely small. The Loft seating was crowded and could have reflected the barn decor more effectively."

  • "We had a great experience! We made reservations as recommended. When we arrived a few minutes late they were very accommodating and showed us right to a table. The beignets were very fluffy. I had the breakfast burger and would get it again in a heartbeat. The bacon is to die for. We splurged and got a scoop of chocolate ice cream for dessert and were not disappointed. The waitress was very attentive."

  • "The Loft is a very special restaurant, one of a kind in Indy. The quality, preparation and taste of their organically grown and locally sourced food is unmatched in Indianapolis. Our server was very delightful and enthusiastic about the menu. It was difficult to make a decision on what to order as everything on the menu sounded scrumptious. I chose the Wild Alaskan King Salmon which I was already familiar with and knew how rare it is. I was not disappointed. It was cooked to perfection and delicious. Anyone who thinks they don't like fish and it is offered on their menu who doesn't try it is missing something very special! All of our party members were very pleased with their meals. You can't go wrong on any menu item!"

  • "We visited Traders Point Creamery on the recommendation of another. Beautiful and lush gardens with a picture perfect background of grazing cows. We watched the cows herded in for their evening milking and then had dinner in the Loft. July 12th anniversary celebrations for us and our daughter & husband. It had just rained and the sun was poking out to make for a beautiful evening. We had a wonderful meal with good spirits. For my Daughter an organic cream soda ...she is pregnant with our first grand baby. The rest had a variety of craft beers and wines. All excellent! Three of us had the filet mignon and it was AMAZING! Our server was full of smiles from start to finish and so very pleasant."

  • "We were there with another couple on a Tues. evening for dinner & it was great--weather-wise, etc., however, in regard to dinner: We felt that the entree's were very expensive, especially since there were no "sides" such as a salad &/or bread or rolls for the table. The wine prices were average for dinner ($8 per glass) since most places charge between $6 to $8, but they never give you a lot for that amount of money. We truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the setting & eating on the enclosed porch to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, etc. You have made a lot of improvements & it is just lovely. We know the food is "fresh" & you have "happy cows & pigs", which may be why the entrees are expensive. Thank you!"

  • "This was a third visit to The Loft for dinner. Once again, they did not disappoint. We had the cheese board for our appetizer, and every bit of it was wonderful. The beer cheese and herb fromage were our favorites. My friend had the fish special and I had the filet, it was so delicious we hardly talked during our meal. Then dessert...by far our favorite. I had the cherry pie, to die for, and my friend had the lemon meringue in a jar. We cannot say enough about how wonderful our meal and experience was and will to come back. We would have liked to have purchased a whole pie, but were told that we couldn't (you really should start doing that). Absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Can't say enough about the desserts, fantastic"

The food has an interesting and diverse twist on american-european cusine. the lamb was acceptable, but the whitefish and the chicken were excellent. By all means try the onion pie as a first. Service was good. Try to get a table on the balcony with a great view over the fields and woods of Traders Pointe Creamery."

  • "Four of us shared an Onion Pie appetizer. It was surprisingly good and we should have ordered two. We all ordered different dinners and each was simply great; Scallops, Mac & Cheese, Farm Cheeseburger, and one of two steak choices. A little wine, ice tea and two Traders Point Creamery ice cream deserts. All of it well presented with service that was friendly, knowledgable and attentive without getting in the way. Other places may also advertise menus that are 'organic, farm fresh, locally sourced, farm-to-table, etc.' But there is something special going on here. Highly recommended."

  • "Took my girlfriend here for a quiet Sunday brunch and it was just what we were looking for. She likes organic food more than myself but I enjoyed the food as well. Great flavor and taste. The service was kind of slow; however, we were seated on the patio and we were the only ones out there so it was quiet and the view was great. They were very kind to move us under an umbrella do to the sun and heat as well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet Sunday brunch."

  • "I loved the place, excellent food, interesting history and amazing area. It is the perfect weekend getaway. We started with a long breakfast on the covered porch, then took a self-guided tour of the farm (use lots of sunscreen) and finally enjoyed an organic homemade ice cream to cool off. Some of the best coffee I've had, excellent service and looks like the perfect venue for weddings. There was a clean barn with lighting and also have a nice garden area. Definitely recommend visiting, makes for a different dinning experience. They let you watch how they milk the cows! They do this in the morning and then at 4 pm, sadly we could not stay to watch, so it's the perfect excuse to go back!"

  • "Our server was kind enough to take a photo for us on the balcony/porch, and the buspeople cleaned up our SHAKE IN A TO-GO CONTAINER and leftovers before we were finished. There were purses and a jacket left at the table so they would know not to. Thoroughly disappointed we could not finish our leftovers. The busperson, when confronted, said "Sorry" and hurried off. We were in a bit of a rush at that point and did not tell management."

  • "We were extremely disappointed during our recent Friday night dinner at the Loft. Service was horrible! It took at least 10-15 minutes for staff to bring water and menus, we asked for extra bread with our cheese board appetizer at least 4-5 times and are still waiting for it. My wife's salmon entree was raw when served and the waitress never returned to our table to inquire about how our meal was going after she took our order. The food we did get was adequate but very overpriced. My complaint about service to the manager resulted in a cursory apology and the removal of the cheese board and salmon from our bill when the entire meal should have been comped. I doubt we will ever visit the Loft again."

  • "Great experience, but you need a reservation. Decide if you want to eat outdoors, and consider that they have loud live music if you eat indoors. We have a hearing disabled member of our group and had to request on screened porch so he could hear. Be aware they have screened porch, open deck, and indoors away from music. I'd specify on reservation. Food was not cheap, but it was wonderful!"

I would not recommend going there for a romantic dinner on a Friday because it was very busy and the staff seemed overwhelmed by it. Also if you want to eat on the patio, I guess you have to call for a reservation rather than book on opentable."

  • "My family and I went to Traders Point for Sunday brunch. We truly enjoyed our while experience. We strive to eat all organic food, so the 45 minute trip to eat here was worth it. What really made the meal great was the servers. They're top notch. My only complaint is the amount of throw away containers they give you throughout the meal. The butter, jam, and ice cream (and spoon) all came in throw away vessels. They were compostable, but still. If I'm spending $120 brunch I'd rather not see that. It really doesn't fit the organic scene. We'll be back."

  • "We had a group of 5 for dinner and were lucky enough to sit outside on the uncovered portion of the porch on a beautiful night. The cheese here is wonderful as are most of the dishes. Slightly on the expensive side, but prepared well. The wine with dinner was also perfect for the food we had. While the menu is somewhat limited, they only prepare what is locally available. A little off the beaten path, but worth the trip. during the summer there is a farmers market on Fridays."

There was not a lot of noise, but we were one of the first to arrive (11:15) so I couldn't say that's the norm. It's definitely worth the drive from Terre Haute. I will go again."
