Indiana's only Organic Farm to Table Restaurant! Serving Lunch and Dinner including our Award Winning Brunch on Sundays.

Every Friday Night during the Summer Farmers Market, we also serve an Organic set menu "DINNER ON THE DECK" complete with Live Music, outside on our beautiful deck and patio thru Labor Day weekend.


Our menus feature our award winning cheeses, yogurts and ice creams, along with our own 100% Grassfed Beef and pastured pork and chicken. We proudly serve other fresh food from local growers and atisans. Our culinary team proudly serves hand-picked herbs and vegetables from our own garden. Private and custom events accommodated.

Depending on the season we have special offerings including Wild Boar, Yak, Elk, and Ostrich!

  • "This is the second occasion we have visited TP and been disappointed. I think they are trying too hard to impress and forgetting the most important feature of the meal - enjoyable taste! We had the lamb and the filet. I am not a fan of lamb but the lamb belly looked fatty and difficult to cut. My filet was prepared to order and tender but lacked flavor. Very small amount of cold bernaise butter. It was paired with great potatoes and some greens that were so bitter they seemed burned and impossible to eat. I ordered the brownie for dessert and it was grainy and seemed to be raw. I felt like I was eating spoonfuls of raw sugar. It was inedible. I love the concept but the food was disappointing at best. For the money I expect more."

  • "Amazing resturant. All organic. Food is wonderful. Try their homemade ice cream and cheese platter. You can go for brunch, lunch or dinner. Stroll around the farm and even watch cows being milked daily at 4 p. we took our 2 year old to lunch. She loved their chocolate milk. Everything is so fresh."

  • "To start off, we we're there on a Thursday night when bottles of wine are half-price. We ordered the smoked salmon appetizer and it looked like a work of art when it arrived at the table. It was decorated with beautiful edible flower pedals from the restaurants own garden. My wife ordered the scallops and I had the lamb tenderloin, both of which were perfectly prepared and tasted amazing. The service was off the chart, the ambience on the outside upper deck overlooking the farm and garden was very relaxing. A perfect choice to celebrate our wedding anniversary."

  • "I live out of town and travel to Indianapolis once a year. I was really looking forward to brunch at Trader's Point. I ordered an omelette with tomatoes, spinach and cheese. It came with sun dried tomatoes (which was an option, but I chose fresh.) Before I realized the mix-up, our waiter was gone. I wanted to send the omelette back but too much time passed before someone came to our table. I didn't want my friend to eat alone so I just ate the omelette. It was very disappointing. Not only did it have sun dried tomatoes, it had a huge quantity of sun dried tomatoes which were dry. Along with the very dry omelette, it was not good. My friend liked her meal, but I did not."

  • "We had reservations, but the only tables available upon arrival were next to hostess stand and outside, two bad options. We chose outside; think flies and lots of mosquito bites. My pork chop, ordered medium, was served raw inside. The server, despite her superior attitude, didn't once check on our table after the food was served. The bus staff was not trained to address my situation (their words), so I went without a meal while my party finished theirs. The server offered to not charge for my meal. So gracious since I couldn't eat it. Nothing else was done to address my unpleasant experience. So disappointed, since I had anticipated dining here for some time."

  • " hostess friendly. table on covered deck. Wait staff Rachel was not too prompt Offered drinks etc. that order was timely. Rachel was matter of fact not overly friendly. Dinner order was placed and then the wait began. We did not receive order for 1 hour, even after asking Rachel which totally blew us off by stating it would be right out 10 mins later it arrived. Spoke with a manager did not get his name, his offer was I will look into that! Not likely to return. Dined 08/02/14 @ 6pm, departed after 8pm!"

As always, the food, service and overall experience was unique and very enjoyable. The new kitchen looks spectacular from the outside and the outside dining area is very inviting. It's possible to find something pleasing on a small budget, and also possible to indulge in a multi-course meal with beverage pairings. There's even a little market where one can purchase their cheese and other local products. Would be an amazing place for a wedding or other large event, as the grounds offer indoor, outdoor, and screened in seating, plus gardens and open space for walks."

The food was vey good but very expensive for what it was. She had the salmon watercress salad and I had the ploughmans lunch, cheese board and soup. The servings of cheese were extremely small. The Loft seating was crowded and could have reflected the barn decor more effectively."

Our server was very delightful and enthusiastic about the menu. It was difficult to make a decision on what to order as everything on the menu sounded scrumptious. I chose the Wild Alaskan King Salmon which I was already familiar with and knew how rare it is. I was not disappointed. It was cooked to perfection and delicious. Anyone who thinks they don't like fish and it is offered on their menu who doesn't try it is missing something very special! All of our party members were very pleased with their meals. You can't go wrong on any menu item!"

  • "We visited Traders Point Creamery on the recommendation of another. Beautiful and lush gardens with a picture perfect background of grazing cows. We watched the cows herded in for their evening milking and then had dinner in the Loft. July 12th anniversary celebrations for us and our daughter & husband. It had just rained and the sun was poking out to make for a beautiful evening. We had a wonderful meal with good spirits. For my Daughter an organic cream soda ...she is pregnant with our first grand baby. The rest had a variety of craft beers and wines. All excellent! Three of us had the filet mignon and it was AMAZING! Our server was full of smiles from start to finish and so very pleasant."

  • "We were there with another couple on a Tues. evening for dinner & it was great--weather-wise, etc., however, in regard to dinner: We felt that the entree's were very expensive, especially since there were no "sides" such as a salad &/or bread or rolls for the table. The wine prices were average for dinner ($8 per glass) since most places charge between $6 to $8, but they never give you a lot for that amount of money. We truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the setting & eating on the enclosed porch to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, etc. You have made a lot of improvements & it is just lovely. We know the food is "fresh" & you have "happy cows & pigs", which may be why the entrees are expensive. Thank you!"

  • "This was a third visit to The Loft for dinner. Once again, they did not disappoint. We had the cheese board for our appetizer, and every bit of it was wonderful. The beer cheese and herb fromage were our favorites. My friend had the fish special and I had the filet, it was so delicious we hardly talked during our meal. Then dessert...by far our favorite. I had the cherry pie, to die for, and my friend had the lemon meringue in a jar. We cannot say enough about how wonderful our meal and experience was and will to come back. We would have liked to have purchased a whole pie, but were told that we couldn't (you really should start doing that). Absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Can't say enough about the desserts, fantastic"

The food has an interesting and diverse twist on american-european cusine. the lamb was acceptable, but the whitefish and the chicken were excellent. By all means try the onion pie as a first.   • "Four of us shared an Onion Pie appetizer. It was surprisingly good and we should have ordered two. We all ordered different dinners and each was simply great; Scallops, Mac & Cheese, Farm Cheeseburger, and one of two steak choices. A little wine, ice tea and two Traders Point Creamery ice cream deserts. All of it well presented with service that was friendly, knowledgable and attentive without getting in the way. Other places may also advertise menus that are 'organic, farm fresh, locally sourced, farm-to-table, etc.' But there is something special going on here. Highly recommended."
