The dining room is spacious. Guests are seated comfortably apart from one another so as to be able to enjoy your meal and not feel as if you are part of another party. Appetizers vary from low cal to high caloric. The Chorizo pizza appetizer was delicious. The fish entrees were beautifully presented. Although the Halibut was a bit dry (over cooked), the rest of the meal was very good. The service was magnificent. The food and Service was first class and the staff was friendly and everyone we came in contact with, wished us happy anniversary. Upon entering, the service was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable; and the food, overall, was spot on. My only criticism would be the wrappers used for the hamachi spring rolls were rather thick and doughy, making for considerably more chewiness than one would expect. The entrees were outstanding (really enjoyed the tomato bisque served) and the wine list had nice variety. We eat out a lot and the food and service makes it the best restaurant at The Montage. A manager named Tiffany took such good care of us, I thought it was our wedding night! Our server, Jeff, was also amazing and really just guided us through a great dining experience.

Our family was seated at a round table with a stunning ocean view, though the overcast hid the sunset. We began with a delicious cheese and wine appetizer course with eight cheeses as suggested by the fromagier, plus a red and a white wine. I enjoyed their famous coffee -rubbed New York steak grilled perfectly, preceded by an excellent Ceasar salad. My wife enjoyed the John Dory whitefish, others the ribs, chicken and other entrees. We couldn't pass up the tempting desserts. The service was very attentive and gracious, including a special birthday dessert for my wife. The restaurant was a great fit for all of us. They had a children's menu with some good simple dishes to compliment their standard menu, which was full of world class fare.
