The Local HouseLocal House doesn't disappoint.We're from Miami and started our annual "hooky day" at The Local House for breakfast and drinks before heading to the beach on a beautiful day. Sat outside and had attentive service from the bartender. We each had different benedicts from their short but enticing breakfast menu and were very happy with the food. The only issue we had was the bartender's heavy-hand on the tabasco in my wife's Bloody Mary which he offered to remedy. We came back after a few hours on the beach for more drinks on the patio. Our server was friendly and knowledgable, the food (mostly seafood) was phenomenal. It's a little pricey, but so is everything else in Miami. I had a mojito--it was so strong but it tasted good...what a real mojito SHOULD taste like. Set aside about 2+ hours if you're going to eat here though.
