What a great experience all around- food was fresh, server was attentive (and hilarious) and the bottomless mimosas were flowing. Our group tried the Challah b'fast sandwich, the French toast, the chicken fried chicken, and the omelette, so we covered the menu! All were tasty!

I've always like The Lobby for brunch before, but dinner the other night was terrible. The menu is mediocre, the actual food was even worse and the service (despite an empty restaurant) was beyond poor. I've had great experiences on Saturday and Sunday mornings at The Lobby. For dinner, a beer from Great Divide next door and anything from the food truck out front the brewery would have been a better plan.

Mid-week evenings are unpredictable in terms of measuring appeal based on customer headcount. But the restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived, and those who were there seemed more interested in socializing than dining. Because the surrounding neighborhood appears to be adversely in transition, one would not recommend this venue as a walk-up spot from a downtown hotel. The service was cordial, but the actual entrees were not on par even with so-called "pub food." Their meat loaf item arrived to the table immersed in ketchup, but was bland otherwise with a bread-like texture. The cheese-steak (not a sandwich) was tough: unusually difficult to chew.

Love the outside patio area! The food overall was hit and miss. Really liked the Spinach Salad, but I guess I should have read the menu better, because there were way too many yellow hearts for my liking in the Romaine Salad. Great dressings The Salmon was wonderful - done to perfection!!! However, the Pork Chops were over cooked. The Cookie & Ice Cream Sundae (Chocolate Chip & Vanilla Ice Cream) was very good, but except for an odd lemon flavor to it. The Chocolate Mousse was a flop. The Mousse was very runny - just a puddle of goo. And we were not sure if that was melted Whip Cream on top of it, or runny White Chocolate Mousse. We would give the place another try. Just avoid the Romaine Salad, Pork Chops & Mousse next time.

Went here for drinks and dinner with some freinds I had not seen in long time. Possible date connection between 2 of them. Wanted something casual but still not run of the mill. The interior is old school Denver well maintained. Great architecture, details and feel. The patio (it wasn't the best weather so we couldn't enjoy it) looked amazing. Sheltered from street noise. It has a cover for those super sunny days that can get hot. The food was better than just tavern fair but not tops. The "loaded" section of the menu for different types of taters was yummy and the green chili was definatly tasty. Drinks were tasty and a good variety. Want to try this place for bruch. It looks good with a tower of mimosas to partake of...

Highly disappointed in The Lobby. Selected it based on ratings found on Open Table. The food was not good. No one in our party of 5 liked their food. Should have known when we walked in and there were only 2 other tables occupied. This was the only restaurant we visited in Colorado that we didn't like.

Treated my mom to a brunch here for Mother's Day, and the whole family loved it. My one regret was that I didn't go for the unlimited Mimosas and tried a Bloody Mary instead, which was nothing to write home about. Other than that, the food, atmosphere, service, and decor were outstanding!

The bacon..... Is out of this world good. I've never had bacon that good in my life. It tasted like candy. Our server, Jolie was on her A game. She made sure that our coffees, waters, juices, Bloody Mary's, and Mimosa's were always appropriately full. We had three kids in our party which seems to be a turn off for some servers, but Jolie was fun and REAL! Many downtown restaurants have an 'adults only' feel to them, but the ambiance at The Lobby was awesome. We will definitely be back!

Had brunch here on Derby Day like we have for the past two years. Got a great table outside. Our waiter was great, service was a little slow even though they weren't that busy. But since our only complain was0 bad experience with the bartenders, I am guessing it was their fault. The beer list had not been updated and the bartenders never smiled, spoke to us and then one actually rolled her eyes at us! If you don't like your job, find a new one. Other rude things happened while we were there but no big deal, we left and went elsewhere.

I tried this restaurant with a groupon type voucher and couldn't have been happier. The server did not make us feel inferior for using the voucher (you'd be surprised that this happens) and she was great at suggesting items on the menu for us to try. The voucher was for several courses and she even took our order in different pieces so we didn't feel rushed at ordering all at once. It was a great experience and I will definitely go back.

Seems the bottomless mimosa was a big hit, looking around the room. The food was mostly carb loaded so be ware. We were a table of two (women) maybe that had something to do with the fact the service was poor; had to ask for table service, had no salt/pepper on the table had to ask for that, soup was served and had to ask for a soup spoon, service came with a fort and knife.. Our appetizer/soup/entrée all arrived at the same TIME! Poor planning by the wait staff.or maybe they wanted us served so they could get to the table of 8 next to us. Door to the patio opens to main dinning room and "cold" air meant we kept our coats on. I did leave 20% tip so maybe that next time someone over the age of 28 comes in service will improve.

On a Friday night, we found a parking place 2 blocks away. At 6:30pm, this was a scary neighborhood. There was quite a strong police presence on the streets. It appeared we were walking through a crime scene. As we continued our walk to The Lobby, we saw people on the streets looking through garbage cans, "sleeping" on the sidewalks, etc. The Lobby itself is a friendly restaurant; nice waitress; nice atmosphere; good burgers; good selection of beers. The salmon was very mediocre...pretty bland. Also I would pass on the desserts. We got 3 different desserts and all were below average. If you go to this restaurant at night, try to get a parking place directly in front of the restaurant .

A great dinner here! Included appetizers to share,(Green Chili is spicy!) Pork and Apples , perfectly cooked Salmon, and this delicious Kazookie dessert, which is a slightly under baked warm cookie and a scoop of Oreo ice cream. It is an out of the way place at 22nd and Arapahoe, but a great outdoor space too for the summer months. Really nice and friendly server!

The food was excellent and there is a nice selection of wines and cocktails. The beer cheese soup and the blue cheese balls are 2 of their excellent appetizers. I liked that the portion sizes are reasonable - you can have an appetizer, entree, and dessert without guilt. The menu is cleverly divided in sections, and the brunch offerings are a reason to keep going back. There is a great patio that will be full in the warmer months, and a parking lot next door. A win-win all around.

The appetizers were the best part of the meal. As a group we were able to try them all. The entrées left a little to be desired. The salmon was the best by far. The penne was ok, needs more sauce and maybe a protein. Desert was very good as well. We were seated in the basement where it was a bit chilly. Overall we were very pleased with our experience.

    Dined on 2/28/2014
When we arrived we compared the regular menu to the 5280 week menu. $4 difference. Not much of a deal if you ask me but we decided to try it out anyway. Big mistake, HUGE. While the food was tolerable it was definitely not worth $30. The chocolate mouse was chunky, the penne a la vodka was simply noodles and canned sauce in a tiny bowl. The best part was the potato leek soup but how hard is it to mess that up. As bad as the food was it was nothing compared to the service. It took until our second course to get utensils. Our water was never refilled and our waiter disappeared. Once we finally recieved our bill it took 40 min to flag anyone down at the restaurant to actually pay. We should have just walked out. Stay away from the Lobby!

    Dined on 1/18/2014
The house potatoes are delish! I don't know what the restaurant does to bacon but it is incredible. The eggs were fine. Toast was not toasted enough. I had to ask for a refill on my coffee and jelly for the toast. The jelly was a jelly with seeds, which I can't stand and here is the kicker-they charged me for it. Bad form! I really enjoyed the food, except my expensive jelly but the service was not great and seriously-toast without jelly? What is the point? I have reccomended the Lobby to people before but I have to say-I was really put off by the charge for the jelly. It isn't the amount-it's the idea of charging me for condiments. If I tell anyone else about the Lobby, I will let them know they need to bring their own jelly.

Was a quiet dining experience until around 8:30 pm., when the bar crowd started to arrive. Wait staff said that their weekend brunch and patio was a good thing to experience. their salmon entrée was really good, however, the pork loin my husband ordered was really dry. We had a great campanade appetizer and great choices of beers. Overall, it was a good experience and we will go back to sample their brunch venue sometime this summer and enjoy the great patio.

My friends and i have a love/hate relationship with the Lobby.... its a convenient place to go and get drinks but we cannot stand the food. I have had several terrible brunch meals there, and dinner proved to be better, but still pretty gross. The menu also lacks in depth and creativity. Loved the venue. Smack in the middle of LoDo and close to stadium, yet the courtyard has charm and is nicely sheltered while getting plenty of sunshine. Food was tasty, non-fussy and plentiful. We waited until the last minute to make reservations for dinner so I was happy when I came across The Lobby and their New Years Eve Pre-Fixe menu ($40 per person) w/ optional wine paring ($18). Our reservation was for 9:15, it took a little while before we were acknowledged. I liked the location of our booth but was surprised by the tears in the material. I ordered the pre-fixe menu w/ wine pairing and found the prime rib to be average. The wine was decent but would hardly call it a pairing. I was not told what the wine was nor how it paired as you would be with a traditional pairing. My bf ordered the pork and apples form their regular menu and while the waitress said it was one for the best things on the menu, it was average at best.

I haven't spent much time in this part of town and had never heard of the Lobby, even though our server said it's been open four years. It was pretty slow for a Saturday night, which, while not good for the restaurant, was great for us because we had excellent service (ask to sit in Diego's section if you go). Our meal was decent - traditional pub fare, nothing really outstanding but just good food. The place definitely has a welcoming, neighborhood feel. I absolutely plan to go back and try their brunch and I can't wait for the warm weather to come back so I can join in some happy hours in their expansive courtyard.
