This a welcome and different restaurant experience for Fernie. There is no other restaurant lke it here. Clasic great service and food you'd expect at a higher end restaurant but without the stuffiness of it. It's relaxed here.

Went for my 30th birthday with my husband, the deep fried squid with arugula salad appy was amazing! And it only got better! The butternut squash canneloni was a perfect simple yet rich blend of cheese and butternut squash. The steak was great too! Definitely a must try, they also have tapas late @ night, will be back to try that

We chose the Livery, based on a recommendation, to celebrate a milestone birthday for our mother. We chose to share appetizers and mains between 5 of us. The service and the food was fabulous. Notable plates were the warm kale salad, squid, pork tenderloin, salmon and tiramisu. Charity provided great service, making everyone feel welcome and quickly building a rapport with us. Prices were reasonable, although some may expect more or larger bites for the price. We were very content with 4 apps and 3 main between the 5 of us. The pace of service and ambiance was great. We will definitely be back.

This was our first visit to The Livery, but not the last one! Food was good. I had the Mussels Velouté with preserved lemons, they were good, not great, but good and enjoyable. Then I had the house-made burger patty with pulled beef short rib and this was one of the better burgers I had in a long time. Nice to see a place like The Livery which is preparing food with knowledge and passion. The restaurant was not busy that night and the service was prompt and proper. Keep up the good work.

Not a lot of restaurants to choose from in Fernie - but the Livery is a gem. Beautiful setting -gorgeous art (theme is horses) on the walls, delicious Alberta AAA beef on the menu. Good, well priced wine list with emphasis on BC wines. Service is outstanding - friendly yet efficient - water glasses always kept topped up . We will definitely return on our next visit to Fernie.

  • Fabulous dining in Fernie!

I ate at The Livery Restaurant for a second time this past weekend. The appetizer (chorizo sausage and chickpeas in a wonderful sauce) did not disappoint. The main dish (the daily special) was also a delight to the taste buds. The service was also fantastic – the place was pretty busy – looked to be almost full. Regardless of the crowd, our server was attentive, very knowledgeable about the wine selection (and food pairing) and was very friendly. Overall, another excellent meal at The Livery. This restaurant is now my favourite in Fernie – and that’s a difficult spot to hold as there are many excellent food venues in this town. If you are visiting Fernie, this is a restaurant you definitely want to add to your itinerary.

This was my second trip to the Livery, and first time to dine . I loved the feel of the large open front room, with sky lights to let in the snowy night sky. The snow was flying that night, , looking through floor height windows , flakes back and forth. The night white sky lite up that room, as we sat in the corner to take it in. It was a beautiful night. Thank you.
