The appetizers, bellinis, and entrees were delicious. The menu had so many options that I felt the usual anxiety I feel when I want to order one of everything on the menu.
We got the fried green tomato appetizer as well as a loaf of the bread. Both were excellent. For my entrée, I got spaghetti and meatballs (I had to go traditional) and these were good as well. I ordered tiramisu for dessert and wished it had more flavor. I ended up eating my mom's cheesecake.
The service was unmemorable, which I guess is good because they weren't intrusive and I never felt neglected.

Each helping the other to see that your dinner experience is great. We started out with a couple cocktails. New Bartender that knows his drinks. Started out with Lobster, crab, and crawfish rolls. So good. Of course we had to have some of that fine bread with the olive mix. After a good house salad, we finished the meal with a bottle of wine with the Steak Palermo. The bread is to die for! A must have if you visit. I had a caesar salad to start which was one of the best I've ever had - very garlicy! And then the pasta with meatballs was absolutely perfect.
Although the food was great, the biggest thing that stands out was our server. It was a busy night (lots of prom parties there), but our server was attentive, friendly, helpful, quick, and professional. Quite possibly one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI made a reservation for 12I made a reservation for 12 but 15 people showed up. The staff didn't flinch. They rearranged seating and accomodated us. The waiter was wonderful. We felt at ease and enjoyed our meal so much. We sat around and talked and didn't feel rushed by the staff to get up and leave. Our server was excellent. I don't recall his name but he has a dark complexion and a thin build. He is to be commended for his professionalism and attentiveness. I mistakenly left a personal item on the table and he ran down the street to bring it to me. Please thank him for me. We prefer the location on Airline Highway because the service is superior! The last two times we dined at the downtown location, the service was slow. We had to remind our server that we ordered wine. Saturday night, our wine sat on the bar for 20 minutes with our server passing us several times. Finally my husband went to the bar to pick the wine up for us. The manager never came by to apologize. The food was fantastic all always. Our dining experience at the Airline location is always excellent! Unless you don't like butter or parmesan cheese - then you should skip it. I can't recommend it enough.
The Fettuccinie Alfredo is second to none. The fresh pasta is perfectly cooked with ample sauce. And if you add shrimp or chicken you won't be sorry.
And they cook fish here as well as any restaurant on the planet. Our Sea Bass was cooked to perfection, rich with flavor and perfectly flaky. Outstanding.
