"This was a return visit to The Linc. After a great first impression from the previous visit, this experience was a let down. The food was good, but not as good as the previous visit. The service was off. The restaurant was not busy, but there was only one waiter and no other assistance so our server was difficult to locate at times. We will try it again. Hopefully the service will improve and some additional seasonal menu items will be added. It's great to have a restaurant like this in the neighborhood and want to see it do well."

"The place is kind of out there. Right by the river on 42nd St. It was very empty, but I think that's only because the place is just not very convenient to get to if you're coming from Manhattan. Our friends were coming in from Hoboken, so their ferry was literally threee blocks away.
The food was great! Very yummy and portions were perfect. I didn't feel like they were trying to over-stuff me, and it didn't look like there was just a single bite's worth on a huge empty plate.
I would definitely go back, and also just found out they deliver to me too!!"

"They have not gotten their liquor license yet so it was BYOB. Beautiful place. WILL be a vibrant bar scene I am sure once the license comes through. Staff was lovely - great service. Delicious and beautifully-presented food."

"We went to celebrate a birthday with a group of 17 and they were very accommodating. Excellent service and really tasty food. I had the friend chicken and red velvet waffles. I highly recommend it! But it was quiet enough that it would also work for a romantic brunch or dinner."

"The Linc will be a real find when they get their liquor license. Great food, great service - not very crowded though. It would benefit from more diners. A liile quiet right now - lacks energy. Not sure if it is because of the liquor license or the location - pretty far west."

"This is a casual/relaxed place. Prices are reflective of something more upscale.Food was good but unremarkable. I had the steak (which was very good and prepared as ordered) and my date had the burger platter. The fries for both were marred by the kitchen over-salting them. This isn't McDonald's and don't know why a kitchen would do that as this should be up to the patron.The service was attentive with being overbearing. I've recommended it provisionally as long as your expectations aren't too high."
