Pork Rillettes - delicious; Angus Bistro Filet- cooked to perfection, but not as tasty as higher end restaurants; Pan Seared Duck Breast- mouth watering; Goat Cheese Cheesecake- pure genius. The service could not have been better. We shall return.

A nice comfortable place in Old Town.
It's a step below Majestic or Virtue as far as food goes. But much better then a lot of the tourist traps in Old Town.

I made 7:30pm reservations at The Light Horse on Saturday night, March 24. Upon arrival our table was not ready. We waited for another 35 minutes before seated. The staff addressed this only tangentially as if it were a regular occurrence. I view the purpose of reservations is to not stand around and wait and believe that Open Table should consider this as they approve restaurants for their system.
The food (catch of the day rockfish) was good and the waitress was very good.

Good restaurant! Not real quiet due to the bar up stairs but great food. I had the whole wheat pasta, wife had the crab cakes. Both excellent. For appetizers I had the bacon wrapped dates. Very unique. Great!

The menu has a very good selection and changes frequently so you never get tired of the same old thing. On the other hand, if an "old thing" from a previous dining was what you wanted, it may not be available at this time. There were four of us in our group and we selected three different entrees and appetizers. Each was wonderful. For my appetizer I had sweet potato fries with bacon mayo dipping sauce. The best I have ever had! Sweet potato fries are not shown on the dinner menu but I knew of them from the bar menu.

It was empty when we went there so we were a bit concerned over the quality of the food, but it was excellent! The dates stuffed with almonds and wrapped in Bacon made for an excellent appetizer. Crab cakes were very good and my steak was also excellent. I would definitely go again.
