"Late 1800s mansion, VERY elegant, turn of the century dining room, ornate wood paneling, stained glass; plus the food and service were excellent. No nearby off-street parking, so if you don't find metered parking on the street, you'll have to walk a bit to get there from the municipal parking garage."

"Had a wonderful dinner Saturday night with my husband...celebrating his birthday! Had heard such nice things about this restaurant we couldn't wait to try it! Definately worth the wait...everything was just wonderful!"

"8 pm reservation and didn't get seated till 8:45 pm. Food was very good but two steaks were miscooked. MR was M and M was MR, so they probably got switched. Waiter was very nice and wine was great. We love library one of our favorites, but was not their best showing for restaurant week or our guests."

"The Library Restaurant is a Classic Gem
my husband and I are from the area but have not had the occasion to go to the Library for about 15 years. We decided to try it at restaurant week this time. Our experience was even better than we remembered it. Such a lovely setting and the wait staff and the food made the evening very enjoyable."

"Was there during Restaurant Week. My steak was terrific; just as ordered. My wife had a fresh fish meal on the Restaurant Week menu. The fish was not as moist as expected for this class of restaurant. Service was very good."

"Atmosphere and food were very good. The waitress was also very nice however the food took took long to come out. The food prices were slightly on the high side but reasonable for the quality however the alchol prices were outrageous. $11.50 for a vodka and $9 for a glass of table wine. This would make me think twice about coming back."
