The wine list has also been honored by the Wine Spectator for excellence. The Leopard is a perfect location for rehearsal dinners, showers, private dining and charity events.The restaurant is located just minutes from downtown Solon, Ohio. There is ample free, self parking and all credit cards are accepted. Chef Zach is not only a 4 Diamond Chef, but he has recently been honored as one of the Best Chefs in America!

Fresh..just made taste... was by far the best thing of the experience. Slow service. My wife needed just anything to eat and it was a struggle jus to get a little bread for her. We will probably try the sports bar next..Paws.... was a little louder in there."

  • "Because this place is sooo far out there, they just don't get crowds . . . which is usually a good thing. But food turnover is small. Chef did begin with a small taster-so unimpressive that I forgot what it was. White bread rolls (yuk!), Caesar's salad we split so it was small, quite wilted and filled with lots of croutons (yuk!); bacon-wrapped chicken was bland while his lamb chops were just ok. Only good thing was the GREAT wine and wonderful creme brulee. Noise reverberates here."

  • "This was our first time at Leopard. We were greeted by a very enjoyable waiter. We found out he was just 21. He made the experience more enjoyable. We started with a selection of wine. I seem to be able to pick the only wine on any list that the restaurant is out of. This time I picked three. He is on his way to being a great resource if you don't know much about wine. Moving on to the food. It was outstanding! We had a seafood special. I would return when we are in the area. I hope they can keep this fine young waiter. He will be an asset to Leopard. "

  • "It is a beautiful restaurant! You would not expect a fine restaurant to have such a young and inexperienced wait staff! The waiter was about 20 years old and friendly. Not the type of attentive and refined server you would see in other upscale N.E. Ohio fine restaurants. The busboy dropped breadsticks on the floor and never attempted to pick them up! My wife had the filet special and was satisfied. No mention was made when ordered that the potatoes were very spicy. I had a crab stir fry. The crab was cracked but very hard to open. Had to sent it back to cut further. There was way too much sauce on the rice! Overall, I think there are much better choices for the money!"

  • "This is an interesting place--very good food, quite unpopular. The menu changed a few weeks back and features some inventive food such as pheasant and duck--we had each and both were outstanding. Their latest take on escargot is an excellent ragout. Two can dine well with wine and drinks fo$150.00. We've been going to it for several years. The absence of popularity is likely because it's out of the way and in a more rural and lower-income county not noted for fine dining. It's attached to a very upscale conference center which likely suffers from the fact that a major close-by theme park closed several years ago essentially killing off most business. The restaurant is a necessary amenity for the upscale conference center."

  • "We were very disappointed. This was our second time there and probably our last. We both ordered the filet mignon topped with crab meat which was very highly recommended by our server. The steaks were mediocre at best and the topping was quite fishier than it should have been. Our server suggested a lobster tail on the side, so we split one. It was very overcooked and we did not even eat half of it. We told the server and he still charged us for it. We could have done much better at home. Not to mention the price...for that amount of money, the food should be much better. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal."

  • "This place is undiscovered, very good and a good value. I would place its food quality with Pier W (a favorite) and a touch below Chez Francois. It's close to the East side of Cleveland and Hudson (my home) but one never thinks of it, being in Portage county. Take the trip--you won't be disappointed."
