Diner Reviews
  • "We had been meaning to try this for a while and are very glad we did! Service was excellent, not treated as tourists as can sometimes be the case. Food was great and there was a piano player early in the evening then a band to dance to mid evening and back to the piano player later on. Overall a very positive experience and one that we will definitely repeat."

  • "My wife & I took our friends out to celebrate their 32nd anniversary we had very fun evening! Our friends were impressed with the deco of the lounge and restaurant. The food was excellent! I had the filet milon, my wife had the Chilean seabass which she said was the best she ever had our guest had salmon which was excellent and Chilean seabass which received another thumps up! Overall, we will be returning with more guest! Our server was on point! Almost forgot, the DJ was AWESOME!"

  • "it took 15 minutes for someone to come over to our table when we first sat down..... unacceptable... we almost walked out until we asked a waitress who was our waiter and she said "I can help you" . the waitress turned out to be very good and we had a good dining experience.. but the beginning was not good at all !!!"

  • "This restaurant reliably delivers a pleasurable dining experience. The food is good but not exceptional, with the menu being a litte unimaginative. The staff is very attentive and gracious. The dining room is one of the nicest in town in a bit of an idiosyncratic Old World way with its decor."

  • "The wait staff is friendly and personable. The chicken curry is awesome. Love the ambience."

  • "Charming old world Palm Beach venue. Dim lights, oak interiors, West Indies Style Art work. Still a few Palm Beachers that look like they were friends of Henry Flagler. Great service, friendly bartender. Varied menu options, good mango chicken curry and shrimp stroganoff. No modern presentation or high end gourmand just enjoyable food. At nine pm piano player stops and good live duo plays. Everyone dances and has a good time. We enjoyed our visit and will return. Good wine list and not over priced."

  • "Blast from the past - and a pleasant one at that. The place is very interestingly decorated. We went on a Friday night, great people watching, music and dancing. Food is good not great, same with service. A bit pricy but worth it for the evening out."

  • "Lovely restaurant with the atmosphere of an old time supper club. They had live music the night we dined there and a few couples were slow dancing. Very attentive wait staff too."

  • "This Palm Beach gem doesn't need a big sign because it makes a big statement from the time you enter the restaurant from the hotel lobby. Beautiful décor, experienced and charming wait staff, interesting menu and delicious food. Our special occasion was made more so and we hope to return many times."

  • "The staff Leopard Lounge really went out of their way to ensure my recent dinner for eight with off smoothly. We couldn't be happier with the attention to detail and the quality of the food. Can't wait to return!"

  • "I find it so hard to sum up my feelings for a restaurant that has exceptional food, fantastic ambience but the most unacceptable service in south Florida. First the good, salad using the best ingredients, seabass, perhaps the best I have had. Now the bad, no bread as they ran out, a waitress that wasn't fit to serve in a poor diner and trying to rush us out of the restaurant when we had barely finished our main course. Dessert, was offered as ice cream and then reluctantly came out to acknowledge the chief was offering the full dessert menu (which was what we expected in the first place)."

  • "What a wonderful evening we had recently at the Leopard Lounge Restaurant at the Chesterfield in Palm Beach.....We had just returned from Paris and found the food, staff, entertainment and ambience to be on a par with any restaurant that we had visited in Paris.....in fact, the food was better! We will definitely return...."

  • "When we arrived the service was little off. It took awhile to get water and menus. Once we did, our server was very helpful and pleasant. We started with their homemade chicken soup that came with a mini pot pie. We could have skipped the soup and went for just the crusty little pastries. Yummy. We ordered the shrimp stroganoff and the steak. Both were well prepared and had great flavor. We skipped dessert and had Chesterfield coffees and then a wonderful time dancing to the music of a live duo that sounded like and full band. The lounge was renovated but happily kept the really cool ceiling. You have to see it. This is a wonderful little jewel in the heart of Palm Beach. We'll be back."

  • "Food and service great. Just one comment - desserts too expensive for portion size."

  • "We went to try to eat at the Leopard Lounge to find out if it would be an option for my Mom's 75th birthday party. The food was good with an unimaginative presentation. What bothered us most was the service: It was just super slow and impersonal. We ordered wine by the glass and were pretty sure that the glasses were switched. I tried for at least 15 minutes to catch the waitresses eye to no avail. When she finally did come over and I had the chance to tell her that my pinot grigio tasted like a sauvignon blanc and vice versa she insisted that she didn't switch it but also didn't offer a solution which would have been as easy as bringing a tiny sip of either one or the other wine to determine which is which."

  • "Given the ambience, the reviews and the enthusiastic pitch from the maitre d' and our waitress, we thought we were in for something very special. We loved the dark wood/safari setting. The caprese salad was simple but wonderful. The chicken curry was highly recommended and the quality of the chicken was high but the curry sauce itself was just average. While the chutney made a nice counterpoint, it is not enough to order the dish again. We also ordered the shrimp stroganoff. The waitress said it was worth the calories, I didn't think so. Again, the shrimp was of high quality but the sauce was just average. I would go for drinks because it is a lovely place but try somewhere else if you are a foodie."

  • "We arrived at the chesterfield hotel and walked in to the Leopard Lounge via the beautiful lobby of the hotel. I had the chicken schnitzel and my husband had the club sandwich. I always ask the waiter what to order. Amazing!! The décor is beautiful and elegant. We will go back and we live 3 1/2 hours away!"

  • "Been there many times and first time I HAve been unhappy. Its pricey, which I know and service and ambiance were outstanding as expected. My meal, duck, was worthy of a $15 meal"

  • "When we arrived to a practically empty restaurant we asked if we could sit at the bar. The Maitre-d quickly cancelled our open-table reservation as we decided to sit at the bar. Leu made us the best Lemon Drop Martinis ever! However, the Curry Chicken was not good and very small portion for $28. If we go back, it will definitely for the great happy hour drinks and bar bites. We did enjoy the entertainment."
