Working with our chef, we can design a menu that fits with any of your needs, whether it be a wine and hors d'oeuvres gathering or a multi-course dinner. The second floor room is available for both lunch and dinner parties. In addition, the entire restaurant is available, with seating for 85 downstairs and 40 upstairs.

  • "Last minute plans had me calling around to almost every restaurant for reservations. The Larchmont was the only place I could find with an open table (table for 4 @ 8pm on a Friday). In other words, we didn't really choose it, it chose us. We were surprised by the low noise level - totally easy to have a conversation at a normal dB level. Though not the best I've ever had, the drinks were mixed well. The waiter was more than pleasant. The dollar-to-quality ratio was absolutely fantastic. Try the lamb, it melts in your mouth. Desserts were awesome. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat."

  • "The food is excellent, the services is hit and miss and the regular dinner menu is limited, but the daily specials are well worth the trip. On the regular dinner menu the hand made pasta and burger are both tasty choices. The home made sodas are good and the desserts are delicious."

  • "I had been a non-red meatatarian for forty years and decided this would be the occasion for my first burger since the 1970's. It was worth the wait. The place was great. The food was fantastic. The staff were easy and professional. There were four of us and we loved everything we had. (Scallops. Kale salad...the best ever)."

  • "We enjoyed our meal, but agreed that it was not launching us into the stratosphere. Pappardele w/short rib and lobster risotto were both good, but each has been tried at different restaurants with more savory results. Duck terrine app was delicious. Bar drinks were good, though, again, out of four tasted only one (Cali to Canada) seemed worth ordering again. Staff was handsome and on-the-ball. Decor is a little lacking, but ambience is nice. This is a good restaurant, but it could be a destination one with a little more work."

  • "charming bungalow .. walked in on a rainy nite & it felt so cozy ! Service was a bit slow and even after we told our server that we had Theatre at 8 ... she didn't seem to be "on it" . 2 glasses of wine delivered to 2 of us and the other 2 guest's cocktails arriving later. ditto with the food - husband was delivered duck confit the rest of us (4 ) sat & waited moments and then had to ask where our fish was and suggested they keep my husband's dinner warm until ours was ready . music was far tooo loud and inappropriate when we entered but once we asked they did lower the volume. Food was really fabulous - hence would visit again - service NEEDS to improve !"

  • "We were looking for a restaurant in a convenient location on our way to Disney Hall. This one met the bill. A new restaurant for me and my friends. A very pleasant surprise. The food was well prepared and really tasty. We were early so there was no way to judge the noise level. It is a small, very cozy little house w/a small parking lot . The service was good and the food was served well. I would definitely go back."

  • "This restaurant was a former beloved neighborhood restaurant. Owners & staff were very attentive & accommodating to the neighborhood clientele. A last minute call would still be accepted. The menu had more comfort food such as meat loaf, mac & cheese. Paired wine tasting/food events for small groups were featured. Though the inside of the restaurant has remained much the same, the menu features a more gourmet content. The food was all very good but the service was not. Perhaps short staffed for some reason. Though the wait staff was knowledgeable and cordial, it took almost an hour for appetizers and 3 hours for the whole meal. No bread or hors de ores were offered with drinks while waiting. The restaurant did not appear full."

  • "I took my husband here for his birthday. Our tradition is to take each other to a place the birthday boy has never been. Since we had tickets to "Book of Mormon" at the Pantages, I needed to find something close enough we would not be late for the 8pm show. I searched high and low. This particular restaurant had a good rating with a couple different rating sites. The menu also featured duck which I knew to be a favorite of my husband. We started with the mussels which were the best part of the meal. They were tender and plump with little to know graininess. The rest of the meal was just so-so. The reason I would not recommend this place to a friend is that the food is over-priced. That said, it was a fairly good experience."

  • "Went to The Larchmont for DineLA. It was my first choice and first time there. I was not disappointed by the food. It met expectations and more. Was seated in the enclosed patio and loved the intimate feeling of the Craftsman Bungalow. Was a little disappointed that the service didn't quite match the rest of the dining experience. The server was nice but the attentiveness wasn't there. Maybe it's because we were DineLA patrons and not regulars ...."

  • "We went during restaurant week and were not offered the Dine LA menu because we "did not ask." My burger was cold and the waitress did not check on us until I was half-way through eating it and the onions were missing. They sat us upstairs, which was a little lonely at first. Waiters go up and down, serving both areas doesn't seem productive, not attentive enough. Was hoping to like it but just didn't care for the ambience, service or food much! :("

  • "The food was delicious. The carrot ginger soup was well balanced. The organic produce and proteins were of high quality. The burger is the best I have ever had. The chicken was cooked perfectly. It was tender and juicy with tarragon notes. I enjoyed the crispy, crunchy, chicken skin. The service was excellent: Friendly and efficient. Our waiter was attentive, professional yet California cool in demeanor. The owner welcomed us warmly and we were seated immediately. The architecture of the restaurant is a craftsman style structure. It has a modern style bar with good selection. I felt comfortable in the restaurant environment. It emits good energy. Like visiting an old friend with style, good food and drink of course. Bon appétit."

  • "Came here for #dinela and I'm glad we did. Awesome set up both inside and out. Valet in the front because there is only Street parking. It'sa set in a neighborhood. As you walk up its like walking up to a home. It actually resembles very much a gutted and converted house that is now a restaurant. We were seated outside on the patio which was very nice. Very quiet, plenty of heat lamps and the lighting was perfect. Very romantic. The three course meal was amazing. Appetizers were small but fitting. Main course was delicious and the perfect portion. I cleaned my plate and was ready for dessert. The final course was the dessert, again small but surprisingly didn't leave you wanting more. I recommend greatly."

  • "Came here for dineLA, we asked for bread many times and it didn't come until after the appetizer. It also took forever for the food to come out, so we were all starving without anything to eat. The dineLA portion was tiny and they wouldn't give us more than one small basket of bread, so I left feeling hungry still. The panna cotta dessert didn't match the description, it had no fig and the sauce tasted like plain alcohol. The service was so horrible since the waiter rarely came by our table. They also charged us 18% gratuity for a table of five even though it wasn't noted anywhere that they would charge automatic gratuity, and from my experience it's usually for groups of 6+, not a group of five."

  • "A wonderful restaurant experience. Cozy setting and excellent food and service. We ordered off the DINE LA menu and thought it was an excellent value. Among our dishes, the kale salad (very good), pork belly (very good), lamb shoulder (outstanding), fried Brussels sprouts (excellent). The only disappointment was desert, the panna cotta with figs had a very bittersweet sauce that detracted from the creaminess of the dessert and had too bitter an aftertaste. Otherwise excellent overall."

However, when we tried to return again without a reservation we were told that we could not dine at the resturant and there was no availability even though the resturant was empty.   • "I finally took the opportunity to try The Larchmont this year during DineLA having heard great things from friends. The food, ambiance, and supplemental staff were all lovely. Although she was appropriate and gave the basic niceties of good service, our server was a bit... precious. Everyone from the bartender, runner and busser were all extremely gracious, while maintaining an appropriate level of aplomb. It's hard to pin down, but both my dining companion and I found the waitress a bit judgmental in her non-verbal behavior and tone when we asked for regular water, the dineLA menu, and condescending when describing the food. When asked about the chef and who he was, she initially replied with only his first name. Otherwise A rating."

  • "Came here for DineLA. Food was amazing! Seriously, AMAZING! Probably the best restaurant that I've been to in a while. Only thing is that the patio is a little dark at night. (So dark that reading the menu was too hard for me. But I had the DineLA menu on my phone so that worked. But yeah, so dark that I chomped on what I thought was an almond--it was shaped like an almond and there were almonds in my dish--but turned out to be something really hard and definitely not an almond. Surprise! So dark that when the waiter dropped our credit card, it took several minutes of him looking on the floor before another person ran across it. So if you like things more well lit, get reservations for inside.)"

  • "Went here for Dine LA with friends and the menu was great. It did not feel like a Dine LA experience where you did not get enough food or the food was of lower quality than on regular nights. The servers were attentive and gave great recommendations for the cocktails (which are not to be missed). It's a converted house and the ambiance was great. We also loved the music playing upstairs. My friends and I will definitely be returning even after Dine LA ends!"

  • "Sustainable, organic, grass fed, small farm to plate menu - everything I dream for a restaurant to deliver - tucked away in the comfort of an old house in the beautiful Larchmont neighborhood. This is my fourth visit and each time the brilliant young Chef Cody Diegel has visited our table to ensure we enjoyed the food. Did we ever! Best kale salad on the planet, brussels, and the vanilla lobster risotto will change your life. Also, we've had Collin twice as our waiter - top shelf service - funny, knowledgable, a blast."

  • "We had our staff party there and had an excellent time. The cocktails were interesting and not disappointing. The food selection covered both the vegetarians as well as the carnivores. Didn't have room for dessert but enjoyed a nice dessert wine. The staff was attentive and quite attractive. They all appeared to be relatives of Nate Berkus. : ) There were 6 of us and we could all hear each other and participate in the conversation. It was a very successful evening. Thank you!"
