  • "More meat and grilled vegetable selections than you can imagine, fresh from the coals, all you can eat. Yummy hot and cold sides, lots of details like several house-made sauces like chimichurri and more. You also can enjoy a bottle of wine per person or unlimited tea/soda drinks and a single dessert selection (desserts are amazing). The night we went (weeknight) was just $28 a person. Amazing value and unbelievable food. I hope this relatively new company continues to add more locations (currently has one in Spain and several in Florida) Loved the food, concept, and experience. Great staff as well - loved dining here."

  • "First time at this restaurant but I have frequented texas de brazil and fogo de chao many times. There is no comparison. Although this restaurant was an Argentine steakhouse, the concept was pretty much the same. Unfortunately the food and service was far below the quality expected. There was little explanation by the server and the grill attendant was rude and acted as if we were inconveniencing him despite there maybe being 5 tables filled in the entire restaurant at 1pm on a Saturday. The salad bar was disappointing and it was blatantly evident the dressings were not made in house. Definitely not worth the $29 per person."

  • "The waiter did not explain the concept well. He did not know anything about the wine list, so we ordered no wine. We both agreed that the liquor in or mixed drinks was old and had changed taste. The grill area could not articulate the meat selection or cuts well. The salad bar was blan and you hace to order each side and wait. My daughter did not want to eat so the waiter sent the manager over to talk her into eating (unprofessional). It was a buffet but you only get one small dessert. The meat had a good taste."

  • "Server was energetic and very hospitable. The atmosphere was nice and casual. Some of the meats were tough to chew, however the salad bar was quite fulfilling. Great for lunch amongst friends and family."

  • "Food was ok and service was average. No complaints for the price, but this is not what we expected for a Brazilian steakhouse. Again, price was low compared to your average Brazilian steakhouse, so get what you pay for. The house wine was undrinkable."

  • "Excellent value, great food, will be going there again"

  • "Not thrilled about everything buffet style. All you can eat is nice but the wine that comes included with the meal is mediocre. Empanadas seemed microwaved, not crispy and fried. Other than that food was good, not great. Nothing spectacular about this place, only ok."

  • "We were looking forward to going on the recommendation of a coworker. The meat is cooked over a charcoal grill, along with vegetables. Everything looked charred and burned. It also tasted dry because it was sitting on that grill for soooo long. The staff was friendly enough, from the waitress to the guy cooking the food. We ordered Sprite, but it tasted like soda water. Come to find out, they ran out of syrup for it. I opted for lemonade, but encountered same thing. Waitress finally said they changed the syrup box and then brought us new drinks, but they then tasted like sewer water with sugar. Nasty! Overall, not a good experience. Needless to say, we will never go back! Texas De Brazil, we will never desert you again!!!"

  • "There was a very large party seated in the main dining room. Extremely loud - they overpowered that side of the restaurant. Though I had made a reservation, the other side of the restaurant was completely booked. Sitting at the bar was the "farthest" I could get away from the large group. It was my first time at "The Knife," so I chose to stay. It was simply too loud to enjoy any ambiance that the restaurant had to offer... The bartender was quite accommodating, affable - and apologetic. Regardless, that group should have been placed in one of the private dining sections - which I came to find out was one of the restaurant's seating options. Puzzling...."

  • "My experience was top notch. The food is fantastic, the service was great from the entire staff. They make you feel welcome from the time you walk in to the time you leave. The grilled meats are second to none. I will be going back."

  • "My brother and his family were in from CT to visit. I wasn't aware of your restaurant until a friend recommended it. I was pleasantly surprised that a buffet could actually have great tasting food. Even the salad bar had great variety. The vast choice of meats was wonderful. The only blip (a very small one) was that we had a hard time understanding our waitress. She had a very thick accent and she spoke so fast that we had to call her back to clarify her instructions. We also had to have her repeat the side dishes several times. It was as if she was pressed for time even though the restaurant wasn't very crowded. She was, however, very good about clearing our plates and bringing more drinks and side dishes in a very timely manner."

  • "I had seen this restaurant many a times in passing through the Lake Buena Vista area and was always intrigued. I have never been to an Argentinian barbeque restaurant before and was under the impression it was similar to the Brazilian barbeque places of which I have heard (also have not been to one as of yet). Was a little overwhelmed by the experience- there were many items on the salad bar, but no labels, however the friendly people working the grill were great to offer the different meats, even offering requested levels of doneness, and were not stingy with the portions. We knew the staple of the cuisine was the meats, however found that one of the favorite items came from the cheese selection- terrina. Will be back for sure."

  • "I learned a lesson to never try out a restaurant for the first time with out of town guests. Although the restaurant itself was nice, clean, and had a nice feel to it, the food was a great disappointment. I feel embarrassed to have treated my guests there, one of whom specifically requested steak, but the meats were quite dry and didn't have much taste. I should have known walking in as I was not hit by any overwhelming, mouth watering smell of meat! Other places are not as deceiving. Even though it was relatively inexpensive for an all you can eat meat place, you get what you pay for. Too bad..."

  • "Since discovering the chain "The Knife" a few years ago in south Floriday, we were hoping to have one near us. Opening this location in Orlando was great. It is well located and easy to get to from all over greater Orlando. The decor, food, service and overall experience is great. We love taking friends and family there, they are all excited and impressed by the variety and quality. As long as "The Knife" is open, we will come back as often as we can. And we spread the good word to anyone who will listen :-) Thank you Ariel and the rest of the team."

  • "This restaurant is similar to a Brazilian Buffet place we'd visited in San Diego, CA. As we entered we immediately noticed the scent of succulent meats grilling. Once seated I proceeded to the salad bar, where I noticed the following: various cold cut meats, pickled red onions & bell peppers, couscous, ceviche, and various other vegetables and rice dishes. We were pleased w/ the service, quality, and flavors of our meals. If you are in Orlando, FL and have a big appetite, be sure to visit the Knife Restaurant. I’m sure you’ll leave w/ a happy and full tummy."

  • "We had a very bad experience! The salad bar was mostly empty bowls but what was there was cheap packaged salads. The soup pot was empty but was refilled after about 20 min. The experience is nothing like the more upscale Brazilian steakhouses. walking up to the meat bar was a very rushed experience and we were presented with a grill full of uninteresting meat. The lamb carcass looked like it had been there for days and was only bones. I would not recommend this establishment. Service was the best part of the night, waitress was nice."

  • "My friend Reynaldo introduced this restaurant to my wife and I about three months ago and we fell in love with it. We drive all the way from Daytona Beach to the Orlando location just because the food, the people, the ambiance is absolutely amazing. Just two night s ago we had our business associates come in town from Virginia and we had to take them to The Knife and they loved it also. Its perfectly prices with meal, bottle of wine and desert as an all inclusive. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone whether its the family or the president of a country, its a great place for all. The food choices are bountiful, delicious and fit for a king! Thank you, JR Hall"

  • "We went to The Knife for our Christmas Dinner, as it was advertised as an Argentinian Steak House, and we had high expectations. We were seated right away. The salad bar was small, and was almost out of salad (lettuce) when we went through. The choice of meats were basic to fair cuts of meat at best. You have to go up (self-serve) to obtain your meat selection(s). We waited almost 20 minutes for drink re-fills mid-meal, waited another 15-20 minutes for dessert (scooped Gelato and pre-made cheesecake), and then waited another 15 minutes after we asked for our check - so that we could pay and leave. I would compare this to a Golden Corral experience, and will not be returning."

  • "ALL THE MEAT WAS DRY AND TASTELESS! I was there at 6pm and there was no lamb the chef told us it will not be ready till 8pm! Probably would have been dry too that includes pork and chicken"

  • "We would have enjoyed the dinner if. The waiter had known anything about the food, salad bar was picked over and had not been looked after, the meat was old and dry, like it was cooked earlier that day. My wife is from Argentina and she was looking forward to this experience. Big disappointment. I guest they figure that being so close to Disney, you will always have someone people who do not know any better"

  • "It has great service because you have 3 or 4 waitresses waiting on you and explaining things. They have a basic salad bar and then a grill station. There they have 15 different meats that they will cut to your temperature preference. It includes salmon and sirloin."

  • "My girlfriend and I tried this place the other day. It was pretty good. The price was really good for the selection. They gave each person their own bottle of wine(house wine) .For what it was it's well worth the price. You can go to other places like Texas Da Brazil of Fogo De Chao and spend way more, but if you're not trying to spend in the 100s for two people. This is the perfect place."

  • "We found The Knife in Kissimmee to be a most wonderful place to dine with the exception of a couple of drawbacks. It seems hidden behind other buildings and tucked in the back. If you are a tourist it can be hard to find. The other problem was the noise level. There were two continually screaming kids there while we were dining, the sound reverberated throughout the whole restaurant and was very distracting to the ambiance. The service was top notch and the food very delectable. The selection of salads and meat from the open grill along with the best sweet potatoe fries we've ever had made this meal really good. To top things off the Dulce de Leche Crepe's were truly to die for, A fine ending to a lovely dinner."

  • "Although it was not 100% authentic Argentinian food, it came very close. Food, service and the whole experience was great.i don't live in Orlando but will make it a point to stop here when in town."

  • "This restaurant is very pricey for what you get. I wanted to order something ala carte. I couldn't so I ordered the all you can eat. Only smoked meats of very poor quality. Over cooked and cheap meat. The server said it came with a side. I had mashed potatoes that took 15 minutes to get there and were cold and clumpy. A meal for that price and not even comparable to Golden Corral. Golden Corral we would have saved a ton of money and had a better meal. Recommend you go somewhere else."

  • "Great food, service, and atmosphere. While the food was a bit salty, it's supposed to be that way. The salad bar was continually kept up with. It was stocked with great fresh salad/toppings. They had a really nice cheese selection as well (The white/goat cheese was super delicious). The meats and vegetables from the grill were expertly cooked and seasoned. The only thing that I would recommend not getting are the ribs; they were a bit tough/dry. Over all experience was great!"

  • "Food was very good. Service was okay but expected being in the tourist part of Orlando where all service isn't top notch. Needed more to drink but never saw our server after we ordered but then I was at the grill line waiting. Grill was good, would be helpful if they had the meats listed by the grill so you knew what you were asking for, instead of relying on the menu you are giving when you arrive and then is collected once you order. Standing in line to get the meat from the grill was really slow and time consume spent most of the time doing this. Cold bar wasn't something I was thrilled with, the other diners with me liked it but wasn't overly impressed. A better system to get the meat items from the grill would help."

  • "We recently tried The Knife restaurant in Orlando for the first time. My wife and I were antisappating a great meal, but were disappointed in the food. The pork ribs were dry, the sausage very salty, and the flank steak was average. I love charcoaled meats but was not thrilled with this meal. We could barely understand the Spanish cook as he explained what meat was what. Our server was good, but the sides that came from the kitchen ( fries w/skins & sweet pot. fries ) were nothing special. The salad bar was pretty good as was the included dessert ( i had choc. mousse ) but for $28 per person and after reading about this restaurant online we had EXPECTED BETTER TASTING FOOD."

  • "Reservations were easy to get and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The ambience was very nice and our waiter was very attentive. The salad bar was excellent with a lot of variety and fresh items. The beef and pork was very tasty when we went through the line the first time; however, the veal was very fat and lacked flavor. When we went back for a second helping of meat, the beef that we were served was the fatty left overs even though there was plenty of uncut beef available to be served. Overall a good dining experience."

  • "The food at this restaurant is served like a cattle call. You're supposed to walk up to the pit and request meat but there's no clear idea as to what meat they serve. Unfortunately the meat was extremely bland and I was very disappointed. I spoke with a lady that is a manager there and she brought me meat with much better flavor but great lengths of speaking to the manager shouldn't result in better tasting food, the quality should always be there. I would go back to visit the manager but doubt I'll spend my hard earned money eating at this restaurant again."
