"Very good food at an excellent price. The fried clams as an appetizer were excellent. Our meal was very good. The wall eye however was oily and bland. I ordered the pasta with shrimp and sausage; excellent! Atmosphere is very nice.Our college age daughters were with us and loved the ambiance and said it ws " funky" and " way cool".We had a great time and the staff was very nice. Valet parking at $ 3.00 is a bargain and the only way to go."

"Food, service and ambience were great. One of the things I like most about the Knick is that I feel like I'm dining somehwere outside of Milwaukee. The Knick does a really great job of making me feel like I'm dining in Chicago or another hip and trendy city. I thought the menu had a good selection of foods and will defintely be returning."

"I took my parents (who are not adventurous eaters) along with my wife and 7 year old daughter. My wife and I foodies. We love creative cuisine and trying new things. My parents like comfort and familiarity. All of us were pleased. My father asked for a side of ketchup with his walleye dinner, because that's how he is accustomed to eating fish. He found he didn't need the ketchup. My parents asked us to take them back on future trips to Milwaukee. My wife and I are looking forward to more visits.

(My 7 year old was fascinated by the restaurant being in an old, historic hotel where people lived. She loved exploring the fancy lobby and day-dreamed about us living there.)"

"We really like the food at THE KNICK...especially the outside dining. But through the years, the prices seem to be getting a bit high for what you get. And very disappointed there is no child menu for brunch. Had to spend $8 on a french toast meal that was half eaten."

"My daughter and I had Sunday brunch on the patio. The Knick was quite busy when we arrived for our reservation at 11 a.m. The service was impeccable. Our food was delicious. We will definitely return."

"Really liked the food, the atmosphere, and the staff. Milwaukee has a lot of nice restaurants. This is now one of my favorites. Would likely come again and leave a big tip. The Salmon was excellent."

"The Knick's menu remains very good, with the salad entree ordered on this specific visit being delicious. Unfortunately, the restaurant seems to has lost its mojo ... Just doesn't have the same cool vibe that it has been known for and motivated you to want to be a part of."

"I always loved going to the Knick for brunch. Since it was nice out me and my brunch date decided to wait for a table outside. Even though I had reservations they said it would be a 30 minute wait. After 40 minutes and seeing many people get seated ahead of us we asked the host where we were in line. It was obvious that her co-worker didn't inform her of us want to wait and that we had been forgotten about. It would have been nice to get a round a drinks for the longer than anicipated wait. As for the food I ordered a benedict and the eggs were way over done. Typically, I love the Knick brunch but this was a bad experience and I won't be back for a while."
