A casually elegant neighborhood restaurant 1/2 block from the Mountain View Caltrains station. Serving classic Farm to Table cuisine using sustainably grown and harvested local fish and meats and incredibly fresh produce from local farms. With a menu that appeals to vegetarians as well as meat… and fish lovers. A cozy spot for friends, families, dates, and small business gatherings. In-house smoker used to cure and smoke pastrami, corned beef, turkey, and roast beef. BBQ specials Tuesday through Thursday. Incredible catering menu serving the entire Bay Area. "Nice place. The food was good, but over priced and under delivered. The menu is simple, and even then we were talked away from a dish we were considering and they were out of the first beer I choose. Being Kosher makes some of this understandable. However, I would expect either they raise prices and keep the dishes equivalent to non-Kosher places or keep the prices competitive with other places and deliver simpler dishes. They have gone to the extreme for both; simple and expensive. Probably won't be returning, and based on the lack of other diners, this place may be on it's way out."

"I wanted to take a friend of mine out to celebrate her birthday. I was hesitant in going to The Kitchen Table because of the recent poor to average reviews. But, I took the risk and decided to go based on the pictures. I'm so glad I did. The food was great. My friend ordered the Salmon and I ordered the Halibut. Both were awesome. The wine was great (Hagafen) and the dessert was delicious (bread pudding). I will be back!"

"I was hoping for better food. I ordered the steak and it was totally fatty. Had it sent back and ordered an over-priced hamburger. I with the menu was more imaginative and they used some fun spices and actually did something fun with the food. Nope.. Most stuff was just bland,"

"So the Kitchen Table's door says it is open at 11:30 on Sundays which really confused me since they had accepted our Open Table reservation for 10:30 brunch. (maybe that should be changed?) When they did unlock the door and seat us, we were the only ones besides staff in the restaurant so two waiters were very attentive. The food was delicious--fresh and somewhat creative. The coffee was hot and of medium strength. The atmosphere was pleasant. The food is worth a return trip to the restaurant."
