Ours was a no fuss/no muss dining experience. We parked a block away, we were in the vibe of Old Town, and we had a great deep dish pizza. The 6 toppings for $4 was a real bargain. We haven't had that much cheese on our pizza since we were in Italy in the 70s!!

The Kitchen Cafe is a must stop before watching Bruins football at the Rose Bowl. The food is authentic Italian served on the stereotypical red and white table cloths. Be sure to make reservations on OpenTable or you will find yourself missing the kick off. We've been dining at the Kitchen for several years and can state unequivocally the food is excellent!

Just waht the doctor ordered, when we needed a low key dinner in a neighborhood restaurant. The calamari was better than found at the two otehr nearby italian restaurants, and the pizza hit the spot. They won me over!!!

The Italian Cafe is a great find for Italian food prior to attending UCLA football games at the Rose Bowl. We park at Parsons and walk to the restaurant which allows us to place any uneaten pizza back in the car prior to taking the bus to the game. When we return after the game our car has the wonderful smell of The Italian Cafe's pizza. Unfortunately the pizza never makes it home because it is too good to resist eating the leftovers. Reservations are a must on game days.

Its been awhile since we have been to The Kitchen, bit it was still as good as our last visit! The menu is varied, something for everone. Food was wonderful and very reasonable prices. Service was also terrific! You will not be disappointed!

The Kitchen is a very small but outstanding restaurant. The Italian food is scrumptious. The portions are significant so bring an appetite. We had a pepperoni and fresh basil pizza before the UCLA vs New Mexico blowout. The pizza was outstanding, the game not so much!

This is a regular spot for us. The servers are very friendly and attentive. The menu is limited, but solid traditional Italian food. Love their penne pomodoro and chicken parmesan. Pizzas are great too!

Food was good. They unfortunately did not have our reservation in the system even after I showed them my email confirmation from open table. It's a small restuarant that seemed to be family owned and run. The woman who greeted us at the front door was not very accommodating following the incident and there were no "special" accommodations made for us after. Fortunately they were able to sit us shortly after our 8pm reservation but I felt they could have offered a free drink or free dessert to make up for the miscommunication on their part. We were visiting from out of town and if we returned would probably not go back because there are so many other food choices in the area.

This is becoming one of our favorite "week night" restaurants in Pasadena since we moved here 2 months ago. We have been here three times and each experience was great. Food is simple authentic italian ( my husband is 100% Italian and judges all food against his mothers version!). Prices are reasonable and the staff is attentive. I would recommend it for a easy, comfortable neighborhood place where you can always count on consistant service, prices, and food. Paying for Parking is the only negative.

Tiny restaurant at the corner, look friendly, but NOT!! Services kept rushing for drink and food order, but asking "ARE YOU READY TO ORDER?" Hey idiots!! I just sat down!! These servers didn't know anything about services!! All they want were fast table turnover and quick tips!! Guess what?? Not tip for you!! Foods were lousy!! Basic pasta meal that look like from a frozen meal.
