The pasta dish with sausage out of the casing was delicious. The sausage was very tender. I have also had their veal Florentine which is an excellent dish. The place is a bit small so the seating is rather close. As a BYOB it is a perfect place to go for an early evening mid-week meal. If you are on their mailing list, you will always have access to a coupon that reduces your bill! The owner is very attentive and makes sure you are pleased with your food. The waitress is excellent.
This place is tucked away compared to some of the other places that are on Haddon Ave. The competition in the area is fierce and you don't survive long if you are not serving great food, meeting customer expectations or are over priced. Following the recommendation of our waitress, we focused on the calamari and--after a sampling--packed the antipasto for a rich leftover experience following a few hours of marinading in its drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette. The calamari, no less a generous proportion, was light and paired well with a homemade tomato sauce. One entree was gnocchi with asparagus, ricotta and crab!?? in a light tomato sauce. It was outstanding. Really quite good. One would be in error to think that the crab was an afterthought, as it brought a remarkable richness to the plate.
