The John Marshall Tasting Experience at Oak Hill starts its second season of a unique way to explore the pairing of amazing wines with savory foods on April 6 2013. Brought to you by Barrel Oak Winery, ("Northern Virginia's Favorite Winery 2012" Virginia Living Magazine). Be seated in our 245 year… old mansion and taste wines ranging from local off-dry to some of the best in the world. Learn about the original owner -U.S. Chief Justice John Marshall- The Great Justice, at whose funeral the Liberty Bell is said to have cracked. In all, over your 90-minute seating you will taste six wines paired with beautifully prepared small dishes as you explore and enjoy and laugh and sigh and share each with your guests and our knowledgeable and considerate staff. Outside, you are surrounded by vineyards and the amazing beauty of Fauquier horse country. Reservations are limited and seating is by room at specific times of the day.
