  • "Great place to enjoy conversation and great food at the same time. Fine selection of food and beverages. Excellent service. Spent 4 hours drinking, eating and visiting. Relaxing."

  • "I recently took out my staff to the Ivy, and we had a great experience. We were greeted with pleasant and humorous staff who were knowledgeable in their menu. The food was super delicious. Try the Moroccan Shrimp appetizer; we think the best appetizer in Saskatoon. The ambiance was fantastic for visiting with little traffic by our table to interrupt. We came early and were nearly the last people to leave. It was a very nice way to unwind and celebrate."

  • "Second time there and attended with family members. The first time was great but the second time was equally as enjoyable (which is hard to do). The first experience was as a couple and thouroughly enjoyed as a couple night out and the second was with extended family in a group and all thought was excellent. Family members stated they would go back on their own (usual keg patrons) and enjoyed more than their usual spots. Some comments were 'I always forget about coming here." We will be back and I will encourage my next office outing for a group of 20 -30 to use the large rooms there."

  • "We have been constantly impressed with the consistent quality of the menu items we had over the past couple of years. Even though we had a new server who was a bit nervous, he was friendly, attentive, and strived to do a great job. Overall, well done! My favourite was the lamb and the filet mignon. Salads were fresh with plenty of choices to pair with a good selections of wines."

  • "We had the first part of a bachelorette party at The Ivy. As we had a group, they put us into a separate room, which was perfect for our needs. The waitress was excellent at making sure everyone had drinks and we happy with their meals. I had just wanted the bruschetta instead of a meal, but ran out of bread before finishing my bruschetta mix. The waitress gladly brought me a few more so I could finish. All the other comments about meals at the table we positive as well. The menu is definitely a higher end menu, so if you are a picky eater, you may not have many choices to pick from."

  • "Nice variety of appetizer and menu items and a very nice wine list. Prices are reasonable and the ambience is great. Also has a nice lounge if you just want a snack and a cocktail. Try the Osso Buco and the risotto. So good."

  • "I try to go to a different restaurant everytime I come to the city and this is definitely one of my new favorites! The restaurant has great atmosphere and even better food service was on point as well! I will recommend this to anyone looking for a great fine dinning experience!"

  • "Went there with family. Took 2 kids under 3 yrs old. Lack of children chairs but the waiter was very patient. Praire bison was not my taste. too firm."

  • "Our family have had several evening meals on special occasions over the years. We have found the staff to be attentive and personable. The ambiance is nice and it has usually be reasonably quiet on the visits which makes visiting easier. Overall we were haapy with our experience. My wife was disappointed with her pasta dish (quite oily) so unfortunately ate only a few bites the server offered her something else but she declined and the server took this food off the bill. It seemed as though there was somebody diiferent preparing the food on this evening as it was not as good as we have had in the past."

  • "I have had the pleasure of dining here on numerous occasions over the years and have never been disappointed! They have always been able to accommodate even the most last minute reservation. The Ivy is charming and inviting and we always leave wondering why we don't come more often!"

  • "So impressive! Server Jaylon was so helpful and most efficient. Our shrimp appy was delicious with a bite. Our caesar salads prepared perfect with crisp romaine lettuce & just the right amount of dressing, plus soft croutons. My chicken was very tasty with rice cooked perfect and veggies too. My husband's s 8 oz. filet was cooked to perfection. Better steak than at The Keg! Ended with vanilla creme broule which we shared. Coffee was very good, strong and dark, just the way we like it. I had the Ivy Coffee. Great way to end the evening. Most enjoyable for my husband's Birthday. We will definitely be back. We will definitely bid for Jaylon. Very reasonably priced for such fine dining!"

  • "We always enjoy The Ivy, however on Saturday night the service was extremely slow. It took over twenty minutes to take our drink order, and then once we ordered the food we received the appetizers in good time, however the remainder of our meal took a long time. We arrived at 7:15 and did not leave until 10:15 pm (just after we finished eating the main course) and we had two teenagers with us. The restaurant was very full, not sure if there was a staff shortage or what. The food was still very good. We bring our curling team here every year because of the Prime Rib but you were also out of prime rib, we got over that. It was just very out of character for service based on our many many past experiences."

  • "We ordered Calimari and my wife had the pickeral. Both were under cooked. the batter on the calimari wasnt even crispy. Although the pickeral was tasty, the center was undercooked. i ordered the jambalaya and the prawns were a little chewy but overall enjoyed the dish, when they say spicy hot, they do mean it."

  • "I cant believe that The Ivy has never been recommended to us before. The service for start was impeccable, our server was courteous and prompt with all of our requests. The food from appetizers to desert was by far in the top 3 meals I have ever had. The amount of quality and Substance to each course is the best for my dollar in Saskatoon. We had an amazing evening and will be back on a regular basis."

  • "We were at The Ivy for New Year's Eve and enjoyed our evening there. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We had a waiter with a great sense of humor which made our experience there fun. I have also been at The Ivy for lunch and the food and prices were excellent. The restaurant is an enjoyable setting and the staff are great. The only downside is lack of parking close by."

  • "Menu was limited on NYE, which was our 1st experience at the Restaurant. This would have been helpful to know prior to dining. We viewed the menu online before making our reservation and were looking forward to trying some of the dishes. On the website, there was no mention that the menu would be limited for NYE. My husband and I have food allergies and discovered that of the 4 appetizers offered, 3 were off limits. In addition, no substitutions were allowed on the side dish. I wanted to d substitute the rice for the potatoes with a chicken dish, but was not allowed. Our reservation was for 6 pm, early for NYE and the restaurant was not busy at all. A small substitution of a side dish could have easily been done before the NYE rush"

  • "It was my first visit to the restaurant, and I was very impressed. Our server was excellent in understanding our needs and being patient with us, for English isn't our first language. Our server recommended a bottle of wine which I thought was just perfect. We ordered Moroccan Shrimp and Calamari as our appetizers and I would recommend having the calamari first before the shrimp because the Moroccan Shrimp has a stronger taste to it and is kind of "overpowering" the calamari. For our main courses, both my friend and I had the Prime Ribs and we both agreed that so far The Ivy probably serves the best Prime Ribs. For dessert we tried the Mud Pie which wasn't on the menu, and it was very impressive. We will definitely go back."

  • "I went there on Wednesday December 11th with my boyfriend for our 4 year anniversary. We had been to the ivy only once before and loved it! This time, not so much. I was excited to have the Chicken Supreme again, but was let down when I noticed the recipe had changed. I don't eat seafood so that dish was what I was really looking forward to. Nonetheless, it was a good experience to try something new. The waiters were a little goofy, but that was enjoyable. I know Curtis and Jordan through my aunts, here's to them. Wonderful restaurant!"

  • "We sat on the patio this time around and were just a little put off by the table next to us that had 2 young kids running circles around the patio, singing, dancing and yelling. Just made the ambience a little less romantic and private. Would have rather sat inside which is totally a great atmosphere. But the food was awesome, the service was great too."

  • "A very disappointing experience. The menu looked amazing but the level of skill involved was clearly lacking. The duck spring rolls looked and tasted like they were out of a box. The Osso was overdone and lacked any sophisticated flavor - the tomatoes were overpowering. The salad came drenched in Kraft balsamic dressing. A no,no for any deserving restaurant. This summed up our experience: A restaurant pretending to be something it wasn't. A promising menu but substandard delivery."
