A word from The Iron Room
The Iron Room is the restaurant at the Atlantic City Bottle Company & is a nod to the recently retired iron playing piece in the popular board game Monopoly. The Iron Room specializes in small plates & the cuisine is described as distinctly American. Chef Kevin Cronin says what makes it American is that the menu is a hodge-podge & mashing of cultures making the cuisine an interesting melting pot.

Local seafood, game meats, hand-made pastas & the “Flat Iron Burger” (the menu’s only permanent resident) are what guests can expect to see when visiting the restaurant. The Iron Room will also feature tasting menus & host special events dedicated to craft beverages & great food. We are as passionate about cheese as we our craft beverage. We have around 15-25 cheeses from all over the world on our list every day covering all the five catergories: fresh, bloomy, washed, pressed/cooked, and blue.

The small and caring staff show they care how your evening is taken in there. The small plates were all amazing from the Foui Gras to the Hanger Steak were amazing. Best find in Atlantic City."

Even if we stopped at the cheese plate, it'd still be true. This is metropolitan-level foodie fare plus an amazing beer selection. "

  • "I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a few months now and finally made my way there last Friday. It was delightful! Great selection of alcohol and a great store attached to purchase something on the way out. My boyfriend and I ate a variety of different things from the quail to the house made pappardelle, the corn chip chicken strips and the korean bbq hangar steak and the burger. I think there were a few other items in there as well but the delicious bourbon and wine kicked in so I do not remember everything. Overall we will both be back again and will recommend this spot to others."

I little hole in the wall on Albany Avenue that serves small portions ( two bites) of exotic dishes like quail for close to $20 and tiny (weak) cocktails for $12. We are not in Manhattan or even Rittenhouse Square folks—this is West Atlantic City. I will never return to this over-priced tavern that claims to be Atlantic City’s only speakeasy. Boring décor and sub-par service. Terrible. "

  • "Serving small plates The Iron Room allows you to sample many of the great dishes coming out of this kitchen. Fresh, innovative and delicious. This extends to the bar as well. If good food and drink weren't enough there is an extensive selection of beers, a great scotch menu and a surprising variety of cheeses. Small room, small, plates big flavor. I will be back."

  • "We went on a Thursday night in April so it was very slow; however, the food was fantastic! Definitely recommend the chef's selection as an app. We would absolutely go back next time we are in AC. In the summer I would imagine this place could get really busy because of how small it is so I would recommend reservations. Great place"

  • "First time was a special occasion and didn't have any expectations. Always looking for a nice experience outside the casino's. Really like the look of the place (from the inside). My only real complaint about the decor was the smell of stale beer, I'm guessing from some kind of tap issue. The IPA was actually very good though. Food was good, not great, but nothing to be upset about. Thought the staff should be dressed in something other than polo shirts considering the prices and decor. My overall experience was good and would recommend to others but I could help but feeling this place hadn't met its full potential. Looked great inside and will easily fill a void for gastro-pub type restaurant, especially in this market."

  • "On my 4th trip to the Iron Room we found the food even more remarkable than the first three. The food is unique and but approachable, beautifully presented, and most important delicious at every turn. Chef Kevin also offers a chefs table where the chef comes to your table, discusses food choices and then creates an on the spot customized menu which is a whimsical and special treat for you palate. The wine list all encompassing (as if the whiskey list if that is your preference) and a tasty by the glass menu is also available. This hidden gem is worth the trip!"

  • "Upon arrival for our reservation on a slow Tuesday night in March, we were greeted and informed out table was not ready and needed to be set (there were only eight other diners sitting down.) Although we were greeted right away it took nearly 20 mins before we received water, although one waitress was sitting behind the bar engaging with the bar tender. It was restaurant week so we decided to go for the restaurant week menu being able to sample various items. Unfortunately everything, except the creme brûlée (but seriously it's creme brûlée you can't screw that up) fell flat and was severely under seasoned. I was excited to dine here, hoping to find a diamond in the rough and something able to break the mold of sub par food in South Jersey."

  • "The chef was drinking at the bar when we arrived. A party of 13 at the bar was practically on top of us. Caught the bartender sneaking a drink behind the bar. Endive salad was good but the french fries were ruined because of over salting. Waitress brought my husband the wrong beer. Prices were too high for such small portions. We are locals and really wanted to like this place but unfortunately we will not be returning."

  • "The Iron Room at The AC Bottle Company is a wonderful addition to the AC Restaurant scene. It is best described as a neighborhood gem for foodies that would be expected in Manhattan but is an unexpected discovery in AC. The cuisine is a collection of small plates each beautifully plated. We enjoyed the chef's charcuterie and Artisanal Cheese plate with accompaniments that included nuts, fruits and jam. The homemade pappardelle with brown butter and mushrooms was sublime. Mushroom salad was composed of a selection of 6 or 7 excellent and expensive varieties, cooked and dressed. The sweet fried chicken on a cheddar waffle was original and wonderful. Luckily we ordered two of these. Blackened hamachi was a real treat. We'll be back soon."
