The Iron Horse in the heart of Historic Glendale remains the anchor of a community standing tall with tradition dating back to the late 1800's. Originally called Bracker’s Tavern, the name changed in 1962 to The Iron Horse Inn, named for an 1856 railroad steam engine. The name is appropriate because the restaurant sits adjacent to an active railway line, and trains bustle by at all hours. Recently remodeled, The Iron Horse offers two experiences under one roof. The downstairs features warm copper tones with intriguing artwork adorning the walls. Diners experience a sense of relaxing tranquility while enjoying fine dining at affordable prices. The upstairs Saloon has stained glass windows, an art deco theme and an upscale bar with live music. There is also an outside patio for sensual summer dining. The menu is New American with an international flair, by virtue of Chef Ernesto Luna's previous experiences leading top kitchens literally around the world. Please join us.

Dinner: Tuesday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 9:00pm, Friday & Saturday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm Sunday Brunch - 10:00am - 3:00pm The menu is the same on either floor the only difference is the dining experience you are looking for. Downstairs is a more intimate dining experience offering a quieter more attention to detail. With our Wine Steward Brian available to help with wine selections. Upstairs offers a more casual upscale dining experience and Saloon atmosphere with live music nightly and TV's showing sporting events. Tuesday and Wednesday a guitar soloist , Thursday Jazz night and Friday and Saturday a variety of music including vocals. Nightly specials available in upstairs in Saloon with Happy Hour 3:00 - 7:00pm Tuesday through Friday. Please note on reservation if you prefer Downstairs or Upstairs.

Parking Details: There is parking in Village Square and in front of the restaurant, but the municipal lot across the Railroad tracks offers easy parking and access to the restaurant. When you travel up Sharon Road just prior to the Tracks you will see the entrance to the lot. There is a crosswalk over the tracks that will lead directly to the restaurant
Private Party Facilities: The Iron Horse offers the "Glendale Room" which will accommodate up to 40 for a sit down dinner or cocktail party. Also the downstairs dining room can be partitioned off to accommodate larger parties.
