The Inn at Turkey HillTurkey Hill DelightThis was our first visit to the Inn at Turkey Hill but it won't be our last. The property was beautiful, the staff were courteous and helpful, and the food and wait service in the restaurant were superb! I highly recommend the kangaroo skewers for their originality and tastiness. The braised pork shank with root vegetables was also a 10+ winner! It's nice to know that such a quality establishment exists in the Central Pennsylvania area and we would love to visit the Inn again when we return to Bloomsburg.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways outstandingWe are fairly frequent visitors at the Inn at Turkey Hill and we are never disappointed. From the relaxing yet elegant atmosphere to the superb food and excellent service, the Inn always aims to please. The menu features a variety of local offerings and the featured fish flown in that day was excellent! We usually book the "Greenhouse" but the more formal dining rooms are also lovely. The greenhouse looks out over the pond with its two resident ducks and if you are lucky, their intrepid cat "Cleo:" will also walk by! Such a relaxing setting; it makes you feel like you are in the country side of Bloomsburg. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. Service was well-timed. The food was excellent; compliments to the chef on the presentation and the delicious meal with a nice variety on the menu. Fantastic food and rooms. From the duck spring roll appetizer that combined the gaminess of the duck with a sour cherry chutney and cream corn sweetness (awesome) to the lamb shank special entree that melted in your mouth. My husband's Asian inspired cod entree and his chocolate desert were just delicious. As always Giles, our waiter, was courteous, informative, and friendly. It is the favorite place for local businesses to entertain clients and recruits. Unfortunately, for locals who would like a "special evening", that makes for an often loud and obtrusive atmosphere. The wait staff is attentive and pleasant. One male waiter was rather loud and energetic and could be heard the entire length of the room. Still the best around for what it does, but it has a few issues.
