"The occasion was a birthday. The wine we chose was excellent. A hot biscuit flavored with sun dried tomato onion and garlic, with butter was brought quickly. Our salads were very fresh and nicely put together. Very generous portions. She chose the halibut special which came with large lumps of crab meat and asparagus and fingerling potatoes. She found it excellent. I had the filet mignon, with polenta. I was delighted as well. My steak was cooked perfectly. We felt we couldn't pass up a dessert, so again, we chose differently. She had the creme brullee, with fresh berries and I had the Jamaican Toto Cake with Toasted Coconut Ice Cream, Salted Caramel Sauce, Coconut Tuile. Out of this world! Very special birthday dinner!"

"It was a cozy place for a late night meal...just the 2 of us dinning. We had a private tour of the Inn. The meal was very tasteful. Mario and Dillion were great - very attentive and made our evening special."

"This is one of our favorite restaurants, the one we turn to for anniversaries and birthdays. The scallops with lobster sauce appetizer has remained to-die-for for the eight or ten years we have been going there. Highly recommended."

"I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. The appetizers(bruschetta, portabella mushroom tart) were excellent. I enjoyed that the waitress was not in a hurry to have us leave, they allowed us to sit and chat for a long time. I appreciated that very much."

"Valentine's Dinner w/set menu, which was not on website. I had requested a downstairs table, but they sat us upstairs in a small room crammed with tables and despondent-looking guests. My seat was literally in the doorway to the room. I had them move us downstairs. Food was poor to mediocre. Crabmeat appetizer was bland and uninspiring. The filet was charred on outside, not enough temperature inside. Virtually tasteless. Dessert was a gloppy mess in a cup. Looked like my 5 year old made it. We will not be returning - too expensive, tasteless food with uninspired presentation in a shabby atmosphere. Sorry."
