"Delightful ambience, friendly staff, wonderful food, and a setting that is the quintessence of Vermont--what more could you ask for? Mary's at Baldwin Creek is my favorite place to take guests and out-of-state visitors."

"Doug and Linda always make the dining experience something to remember. Linda visiting the tables to chat is not invasive, but inviting. Their daughter Martha's new homemade custard style ice cream on the dessert menu is OUTSTANDING. Doug's dishes are some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. I have dined at Bobby Flay's restaurant in NYC and Doug prepared a simular fish dish and it was far superior."

"We have eaten at Mary's many times before, and wanted to take our guests there for dinner on Saturday night. We had a warm greeting from the hostess/owner?, and a fine rundown on the menu from a very attentive server. My wife and I had the "Kitchen Confidential", which was a partial chicken entree, and the mushroom risotto. The chicken was a bit dry, and the risotto did not appear as I had seen it on the menu. I expected the squash to be in the risotto, but it came as a big portion of squash on the side of the plate. Otherwise the risotto was very tasty. Everyone else enjoyed their meal, and two of them thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate buffet on the dessert menu. We will return."

"The setting is beautiful, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the food is simply spectacular. Chef Doug Mack prepares delicious seasonal cuisine from fresh local ingredients, with a dash of imagination. I recently enjoyed an appetizer of rabbit loin and liver en brochette, followed by pork loin Roasted with mushrooms and sweet potatoes in a Coffee-bacon sauce. Everything was perfect. To add to the experience, the bartender, Martha, prepares her own imaginative infused spirits, such as rosemary vodka and bacon infused bourbon. Much to our delight even the vodka and bourbon are local. Everyone in the restaurant shares a passion for and delight in this special place. If you love food this is heaven."
