About Us: The House at Secret Garden, a Casual American Eatery located under the shadow of South Mountain. Housed in a restored 1929 Spanish mansion, the restaurant offers a lively, modern and sophisticated atmosphere. A fresh, local menu was designed for lunch and dinner with favorites such as… Sweet Potato Planks, Smoked Brisket Sandwiches, Shrimp and Grits, and Hand Made Seasonal Pastas. "This is the 3rd time I've been here - and I always have a pleasant experience. There isn't a lot that's close to home to go to and this is an amazing find, I can't even believe it's here! Food is fantastic, ambience is beautiful and romantic! Highly recommend it! ...and I'm a chef who's very picky about food!"

"We had a very nice time however the amount of time that it took for our food to arrive. We weren't in a big hurry but it was a REALLY long time. Also the man with us had to ask for lemon for his water 3 times. It is a beautiful place and the food was very good."

"I enjoyed my food very much but what really stood out was the ambiance. I ate in the back garden on a beautiful April evening, gorgeous clear sky above me, warm air around, flowering tree above, set apart from the other diners. Perfect setting."

"We were staying at a local resort and decided to venture off found this on open table it was the perfect change from the buffet line. I had te veal and was absolutely incredible, kids had chicken and smashed potatoes which was also good wife had gnocchi also very good. Great place."

"We have had two dinners and one lunch since we discovered Secret Garden back in February on OpenTable. It is quite a drive for us (we live in East Mesa), however, it is well worth it. We have dined on the patio all three times, in part due to the beautiful trees and fireplace, and in part because inside the restaurant is much noisier. The food is outstanding and the mixed drinks are great, unique creations. The service is very good. This venue is also great for weddings and other group gatherings. It is truly beautiful!"
