This tavern / grill location has been nicely renovated and has a great outdoor area with fire pit. Interior dining was disappointing, venue is very noisy. Menu has some interesting items although very limited and somewhat pricy. I cannot comment on outside seating, although the fire pit area looked very inviting as a summer spot to gather.

The first time I ate here, I recall the menu was much more creative and varied. Even though this was the same time of day, the menu was different and seemed less novel. The wait staff said a new menu is coming.

Definitely a swanky spot that's a lot of fun and has a ton of energy. Our service was fantastic as our waitress was fun, hip, chatty, and interesting. Unfortunately, the food was....meh. My Chef/Cobb salad was actually pretty good. My wife ordered the wedge salad and was NOT a fan. Pretty hard to mess up a wedge, but it sounded like the dressing was not to her liking at all. My other two friends weren't exactly fired up about their food either. Kinda sad honestly, but they said the taste and flavor just wasn't there. Our fried pickles were fantastic. Just wander in and go "I need a bucket of fried pickles and some tasty local beer" and you'll leave a happy camper.

We scheduled this dinner before a winery concert. Table was ready on arrival. Drinks were ordered and delivered quickly. Appetizers were timely. Many food options. Service was excellent and our server had a great personality for fun evening. We wrapped up dinner and walked across the street to the winery concert. A must do in Woodinville

We took the last parking spot (shared with Woodinville Whiskey) on Saturday for lunch. Outdoor seating at picnic tables in the summer weather was fun. I am not sure winter dining is as much fun giving the tables inside are very close together. The menu is limited but good. We ordered the Hamburger and Quinoa Veggie Burger which were cooked just like we asked. Our server was attentive and our glasses were always full.

We went there with a group of 6 and had to change our reservation the day of, we were accommodated quickly and without issue. We were also able to take advantage of the deck out front and enjoy the great weather. The service was great and friendly which made for a great experience. The only downside was that they were sold out of the pork roll, but the burger was a great second choice.

The Hollywood Tavern really has it all - incredibly creative menu, super fun atmosphere, excellent food, top quality service and great value. From the great cocktails on thru to the soft serve you can't beat it. Everyone from my 8 year old niece to 78 year old parents had a fantastic time. It's only downside is the noise level. If you're heading to Woodinville this is your best bet.

We were so excited to try this place after hearing rave reviews from friends. We were seated immediately w/ our open table reservation which was great and a waiter appeared immediately with a carafe of water he left on the table (always great). After ordering drinks (awesome!) and the fried pickles (fun) we were informed that the kitchen was running about 40 minutes behind (we were surprised as the dining room wasn't full but their was a wedding reception in the distillery). We were fine w/ it, but glad our kids weren't with us. Husband LOVED the burger, especially the bun. I had the ceasar (a little over dressed and too much anchovy) and the fried chicken. Batter was a little salty, but chicken underneath great. Ended with a stumbling cow!

I wanted to like this restaurant. Menu had interesting takes on classic fare, and the cocktail options looked promising. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, staff was unsure of a lot of the preparations, and the bartenders thought they knew far more than they actually did, and food was marginal at best. Inside noise levels were uncomfortably loud, and had a very long wait for food, which was not nearly as good as I was expecting given the menu descriptions. Roadhouse? Eclectic food? Family Friendly? Craft Bar? Caterer? (during peak dinner hours no less) Beer Garden? In the end I think this restaurant is struggling to figure out what it wants to be, and instead opted to try to marginally please everyone.

What is great about the Hollywood Tavern is it's kind of the only restaurant of its kind. It's small, but not too small. It has a lovely bar with a huge selection of beers, wines and spirits. The food is gourmet pub food, and the chef always seems to come up with unique selections for appetizers and specials of the day. The service is what sticks out the most. The staff is very interested in their guests enjoying their visit at Hollywood Tavern.

This place was amazing from start to end!! The food was the best food we had ever had and the beer was great as well. Our group had the tomato and mozzarella appetizer with Mac and Cheese, the pork sandwich and veggie burger with a side salad. Food took a little long to come out because they were VERY busy but the waitress was extremely nice and kept checking in with us. We'll defiantly be back!!

Second time here, this time with 2 families. Located in Woodinville wine country between Chateau St. Michelle and Woodinville Whisky Co., near Redhook. Open kitchen, relaxing contemporary cabin feel. Amazing patio with picnic tables, fire pits and adirondack chairs. Bean bag toss games, and small well equipped bar for adults complete the space. Reservations for dining room, first come for patio...free valet parking during peak hours. Recommend fried chicken sandwich, ancho chile tots and the chop salad. Awesome!

It's next door to Woodinville whiskey. It's not stuffy yet the quality is unsurpased. Love the outdoor fire pit and they even offer free valet parking. And if you love whiskey (or even if you're a novice like me) they offer many ways for you to sample the it. I recommend the straight shot (it comes with a beer chaser). Perfect with the roasted pork sandwich and fries.

While you can get salads here, the one we got, The Healthy (something), had surprisingly little flavor and a mouth feel of oil. Most of the food is deep fryed. The fries were cooked VERY dark and were so salty that they could not be eaten. One of our party had a hamburger, which he rated a 3.75 out of 5. The fried chicken sandwich was awash in sauce and could not be eaten without a knife and fork. The wait staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed this gem hidden on the Eastside. Ambience and service was top notch. Great for outdoor dining or just drinks around the fire. I expected much more from the food. I don't think I would order food again, maybe just happy hour. We sat out front in the bar area and it was quiet and peaceful. The resturant is a bit loud and better suited for family dining than a romantic night out.

Most of the tables were empty and it took them a very long time to get seated. We brought our children and they didn't have milk or apple juice only soda and cranberry juice. Then when we ordered they were all out of chicken , asparagus, and a dessert that we really wanted to try. My son ordered clamp and they were the biggest clamp I have ever seen with huge bellys. I mentioned it to our waitress and she said that it was close to summer so they are all that big. She never offered to make him something else or take it off of the bill. They are also very expensive. Our bill came to 113.00 for 4 meals without alcohol. We won't be going back.

We had a shared dinner; salad wedge, clams and fried chicken dinner. The clams were the best part of the meal. We ordered the fried chicken based on another review that stated it was the best fried chicken ever. I have to disagree, the coating was so tough it was hard to bite through it. Their "by the glass" wine pours are very conservative considering the price. The service was very good and the atmosphere very nice. We decided we would come back to try their hamburgers.

HT offers a unique twist to down-home favorites. The clams, mac 'n cheese, and scotch egg are stand-outs. Very yummy. Our fried chicken was over-cooked and dry, but had potential for good flavor. The Caesar salad is topped with a lot of cheese but overall flavor is missing. The environment is fun but the noise level is almost deafening.

I never like giving a negative restaurant review, so I'll use constraint. This little newer old tavern has the potential to be an absolute jewel, if only it remained true to what we all expected and what was marketed by Josh Henderson. I thought this was to be a burger and brew joint of excellence. It's not. This was my third trip and by far the most disappointing. Mostly from a menu standpoint. Offerings are fairly limited, but could be so much better if the resto focused on a plethora of different types of burgers and micro brews. No pasta in sight on current menu either, which differs from our last trip. The neighborhood NEEDS this place, but we need a place to go where the burgers and choices are to die for. We aren't there yet.
