A word from The Hollywood Tavern
The Hollywood Tavern is a new American roadside tavern that brings wine country farm cuisine together with whiskey, cold beer, cheeseburgers, roasted meats, fresh pastas and house-made soft serve ice cream. Kick back around our fire pit, or stretch out on the back patio after a day of wine tasting.

The inspiration is simplicity, with authentic technique and fresh, local ingredients. We’re home to 32 types of whiskey, six beers on tap and weekday happy hour specials. Kids welcome in the dining room and outdoor patio; lawn games for all when weather permits.

Diner Reviews
  • "We were so excited to try this place after hearing rave reviews from friends. We were seated immediately w/ our open table reservation which was great and a waiter appeared immediately with a carafe of water he left on the table (always great). After ordering drinks (awesome!) and the fried pickles (fun) we were informed that the kitchen was running about 40 minutes behind (we were surprised as the dining room wasn't full but their was a wedding reception in the distillery). We were fine w/ it, but glad our kids weren't with us. Husband LOVED the burger, especially the bun. I had the ceasar (a little over dressed and too much anchovy) and the fried chicken. Batter was a little salty, but chicken underneath great. Ended with a stumbling cow!"

  • "Our food never showed up and after waiting 40 minutes me and my three girlfriends decided to cancel our order. All the manager had to saw was sorry, he didn't offer to pick up our bill or give us a gift cert to get us to come back."

  • "What is great about the Hollywood Tavern is it's kind of the only restaurant of its kind. It's small, but not too small. It has a lovely bar with a huge selection of beers, wines and spirits. The food is gourmet pub food, and the chef always seems to come up with unique selections for appetizers and specials of the day. The service is what sticks out the most. The staff is very interested in their guests enjoying their visit at Hollywood Tavern."

  • "Great food, great service. We'll come back whenever we're in the area."

  • "This place was amazing from start to end!! The food was the best food we had ever had and the beer was great as well. Our group had the tomato and mozzarella appetizer with Mac and Cheese, the pork sandwich and veggie burger with a side salad. Food took a little long to come out because they were VERY busy but the waitress was extremely nice and kept checking in with us. We'll defiantly be back!!"

  • "Second time here, this time with 2 families. Located in Woodinville wine country between Chateau St. Michelle and Woodinville Whisky Co., near Redhook. Open kitchen, relaxing contemporary cabin feel. Amazing patio with picnic tables, fire pits and adirondack chairs. Bean bag toss games, and small well equipped bar for adults complete the space. Reservations for dining room, first come for patio...free valet parking during peak hours. Recommend fried chicken sandwich, ancho chile tots and the chop salad. Awesome!"

  • "Our group of four had a very nice dinner, the "Tavern" was crowded yet our table was ready on time for our reservation. The food was excellent with some unique combinations and large servings. The courtyard was full of diners and the staff seemed capable of servicing the large Friday night crowd."

  • "We sat outside and were greated right away by our server and treated to water right away. We started with the wings..BEST wings EVER!! I had the chicken lunch special with kale and it was awesome!! My husband had the fried chicken burger and he loves it. We will tell all our friends about this great spot and be back ASAP!!"

  • "Server and Hostess were unpleasant. Food was poor."

  • "We had a great experience. The food was fantastic and service was even better. We went as a before concert meal/drink at the Chateau Ste. Michelle. Menu was smaller because it was concert night but food wss great. Highly recommended!!!"

  • "First time I sat inside, and it was very noisy - too noisy really. But overall experience was awesome!"

  • "It's next door to Woodinville whiskey. It's not stuffy yet the quality is unsurpased. Love the outdoor fire pit and they even offer free valet parking. And if you love whiskey (or even if you're a novice like me) they offer many ways for you to sample the it. I recommend the straight shot (it comes with a beer chaser). Perfect with the roasted pork sandwich and fries."

  • "We went on Father's Day without kids. Decided to in the bar, but we will sit outside by the fire pit next time. The service was good, and we enjoyed chatting with the staff. The drinks were outstanding!! Loved the pickled veggies:)"

  • "While you can get salads here, the one we got, The Healthy (something), had surprisingly little flavor and a mouth feel of oil. Most of the food is deep fryed. The fries were cooked VERY dark and were so salty that they could not be eaten. One of our party had a hamburger, which he rated a 3.75 out of 5. The fried chicken sandwich was awash in sauce and could not be eaten without a knife and fork. The wait staff were amazingly friendly and helpful."

  • "Part of what differentiated the tavern was it's quality menu. Summer menu is not near as good. Disappointing as the east side needs more quality restaurants to compete with west side."

  • "Four or us went to the Hollyood Tavern for the first time for a celebration. We went during Happy Hour (3:00-5:00) which put us on a limited menu during that period, but we all enjoyed the pub grub fare. Staff were all very friendly and efficient and the outdoor patio was very nice bonus find. We plan on going back!"

  • "I enjoyed this gem hidden on the Eastside. Ambience and service was top notch. Great for outdoor dining or just drinks around the fire. I expected much more from the food. I don't think I would order food again, maybe just happy hour. We sat out front in the bar area and it was quiet and peaceful. The resturant is a bit loud and better suited for family dining than a romantic night out."

  • "First time eating there and it was tasty...will have to back and try more in a future meal..."

  • "Great food, great ambiance. Noise level a little loud when it got busy. Great outdoor seating. "

  • "The food and ambience are fantastic! Such a cute place and I can't wait to come have a glass of wine by the fire! The parking on the other hand is a bit tricky - there is clearly not enough parking in the lot and when we called, the hostess had no suggestions for us. "

  • "Most of the tables were empty and it took them a very long time to get seated. We brought our children and they didn't have milk or apple juice only soda and cranberry juice. Then when we ordered they were all out of chicken , asparagus, and a dessert that we really wanted to try. My son ordered clamp and they were the biggest clamp I have ever seen with huge bellys. I mentioned it to our waitress and she said that it was close to summer so they are all that big. She never offered to make him something else or take it off of the bill. They are also very expensive. Our bill came to 113.00 for 4 meals without alcohol. We won't be going back."

  • "I had high hopes for this place as the ambiance is good but the food was mediocre at best. drinks were slow in coming and it wasn't that busy."
    Dined on 5/24/2014
  • "We had a shared dinner; salad wedge, clams and fried chicken dinner. The clams were the best part of the meal. We ordered the fried chicken based on another review that stated it was the best fried chicken ever. I have to disagree, the coating was so tough it was hard to bite through it. Their "by the glass" wine pours are very conservative considering the price. The service was very good and the atmosphere very nice. We decided we would come back to try their hamburgers. "

  • "HT offers a unique twist to down-home favorites. The clams, mac 'n cheese, and scotch egg are stand-outs. Very yummy. Our fried chicken was over-cooked and dry, but had potential for good flavor. The Caesar salad is topped with a lot of cheese but overall flavor is missing. The environment is fun but the noise level is almost deafening. "

  • "I never like giving a negative restaurant review, so I'll use constraint. This little newer old tavern has the potential to be an absolute jewel, if only it remained true to what we all expected and what was marketed by Josh Henderson. I thought this was to be a burger and brew joint of excellence. It's not. This was my third trip and by far the most disappointing. Mostly from a menu standpoint. Offerings are fairly limited, but could be so much better if the resto focused on a plethora of different types of burgers and micro brews. No pasta in sight on current menu either, which differs from our last trip. The neighborhood NEEDS this place, but we need a place to go where the burgers and choices are to die for. We aren't there yet. "

  • "This is a great neighborhood find. It's trendy but very comfortable. The menu is unique and very tasty. Outdoor dining is a really fun spot with firepit, a very pleasant place to hang out."

  • "This restaurant has good food. Very good food. The lunch menu, however, is much, much smaller than the dinner menu, which has a great selection. The service is efficient and friendly. The patio is terrific for a warm evening or afternoon. Even a cool one, given the fire pit. Worth a trip to Woodinville. "

  • "Just overall a great place. Had a wonderful meal inside and then ended the night with a drink by the fire pit outside. It was perfect. "

  • "Food is so fresh. Their vegetables are especially fantastic. Atmosphere is very homey and comfortable. Noise level can get a bit high for any initimate conversation but the food is worth it. Go for the Apple & Bacon Fritter and the Soft Serve Ice Cream for dessert!"

  • "Reservations are a must. On cold nights, don't get seated near a door just off the kitchen, leading outside. Overall setting is informal/fun. Great starter-cold asparagus topped with an absolutely delicious tapenade-style dressing. Iceberg lettuce wedge lightly dressed with a wonderful apple cider topping-was very fresh and crisp, cold, and perfectly presented. Grilled Steak, cooked exactly as ordered, came pre-sliced sitting atop a HUGE mound of crisp hand-cut fries. Hollywood Burger also cooked to order, very tasty. Crowd noise is a factor. The intimacy of this rustic-like interior brings with it acoustics that aren't necessarily conversation friendly. It's not an ear piercing noise level, but is still a relatively high level."

  • "The fried pickles were delish and the tavern has a great vibe with it's shabby chic decor."

  • "I miss the roasted pork kimchi French fries and Buffalo style pigs ears. The crab Mac n cheese was bland and watery. I don't think the kitchen or whoever made it knows the definition of béchamel. The salad also lacked seasoning and acid. The fried pickles were salty. The burger was decent but I do not understand why they can't make it the way you want. The server didn't even ask. A $20+ burger? I'd rather go to Dicks or Burgermaster. I really liked this place when it first opened, but now it's just a name and high priced greasy spoon fare..."

  • "The staff is always helpful and on target. The menu is not long- but consistently pleasing for an entire crowd. We enjoy taking out of town guests and introducing locals to this gem. "

  • "Great menu and food. Awesome service! We had a great time enjoying your different and wonderful menu. Had a few drinks as well, then a few more!"

  • "We loved everything we ordered. The burger and fried chicken were excellent. I was surprised at how loud it was in the dining room; it was a little difficult at times to talk amongst our group. That was the one drawback for me, but I would definitely go back. Just be prepared for a lively experience."

  • "Great atmosphere. Very lively with a full house and a fire roaring outside. I can imagine it feels very cozy with fewer folks. The service was great. The trout was good, nice of them to include the head as it wasn't really a very large portion, but I couldn't bring myself to eat above the gills. I look forward to going back. "

  • "Apps were good (Clams, Pickles, Samon Spread), dinner was great (Pork Sandwich, Hamburgers, Mac and Cheese, Salad), they have some interesting drinks on their menu. I started off with beer but i had the peppercorn infused margarita. After Dinner we sat outside around the firepit enjoying conversion with family and friends until way after they closed. Once the fire was out we left (we had to tell them to turn it off or we were just going to sit here all night. :)"
