The Hollow is an American Brasserie featuring classic French cuisine using local ingredients and a modern approach. In the evenings we offer a nightly changing dinner menu and chef's tastings and have more casual fare for lunch. Throughout the week we offer a bar menu and have special tapas nights

This is a little gem on the
Georgetown Square. The best part for us was obtaining the front table, with not just a view of the Williamson County Court House, but a prime spot for watching Georgetown residents and visitors enjoying the square after hours. It was a constant parade, yet it only added to our enjoyment. A film was even being shot across the street, with children running around the court house! I'm not sure the ambiance would have been so remarkable had we been seated in the back of the restaurant. As everyone else has said, the food seems a bit pricey for little Georgetown; but each dish was special, and you could tell that the chef / owner took great pride in his servings."

We have ben to the Hollow several
times and have never been disappointed. The food is well prepared and delicious. We have brought out of town guests who are now hooked on the Hollow's menu. I am so glad that Georgetown finally has a fine dining restaurant and recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal,"

This is a great place for fine
French cuisine. The owner is from North Carolina and spent 20 years in France as a chef. He brings some very nice French recipes with his own unique twist. He also uses local produce and purveyors. I had the tartare of beef as the appetizer. It was outstanding. Instead of grinding the beef, it was served chopped with an egg/cream combination that complimented the beef divinely. My wife had the filet of beef on a bed of polenta with sauteed Brussels sprouts. I had the veal served with risotto and mushrooms. Both plates were excellent - the veal was so tender you could cut it with your fork. The service was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back."

First visit and were completely
overwhelmed with the service and quality of food. Staff were friendly and helpful and very attentive to our needs throughout the meal. We understand that the menu may change occasionally to present new choices but on this night, we shared the salad entitled The Beet Box which included not only roasted red beets but also a variety of fruits and arugula in a balsmic reduction and olive oil. We also shared a shrimp appetizer with pasta and a creamy sauce that was fabulous but rich. For entrees, we chose the daily seafood offering of grilled drum and also had the filet of beef. Both were presented well and were delicious. Prices are a bit high, especially for Georgetown, but the food was special. We'll be back."

The Hollow spoke to me. The
enlightened menu was something rarely seen in your Central Texas small town; sweetbreads in your soup? Crispy, juicy duck? Ahhh, just finding something like this took me to a memory of French Isle bistro where I had another Taste bud Revival one night-a culinary surprise folded in the simplicity of an egg omelet. It is new. Be sure you know not everything went perfectly...but, there was charm, and thoughtfulness, and a willingness to please. And, my wee filet gave me an eye-opening taste that I could marry. When was the last time THAT happened? You should be ready to give this place a try, and those folks there should know that their efforts were appreciated by a "tired of chicken-fried" Texas gal."

Since recently moving from
Southern California, where there are an abundance of great restaurants, to Georgetown, I have been desperately seeking a fine-dining to casual drop in place to eat. Alas, I that has been my biggest disappointment since moving here as I am quite a picky eater and tried every single restaurant in town to my dismay:( I know there are great places in Austin area but just do not always want to do that drive when we live in a quaint town within walking distance. By chance, last week, I found the great place to eat called The Hollow is one of the finest restaurants I have eaten in for months. Congratulations Georgetown...You finally have arrived :)"

Being a resident of Georgetown, I
have seen many restaurants come and go. I sure hope this one stays because it is the best thing in town. Food is awesome, service is spectacular and the restaurant is very comforting and relaxing. Nice to have a restaurant and bar with NO Tv screens. I had the Pork Shank and it was so tender and flavorful, I just loved it. My dinner mate had the Lamb Shank and said the same thing.. awesome flavor. Keep it up, Hollow. Love it."

My husband and I, and another well
traveled couple immensely enjoyed the special menu night. As we have just moved to Georgetown from Savannah, GA (a foodie Mecca) we have been so thankful to have found The Hollow. A restaurant with this quality food, wine/beer options, and impeccable ambience is a rare find. We feel lucky to have this food dining experience put our back door!"

4 of us went to the Hollow and it
was very nice, clean, neat and the wait staff could not have been nicer more informed and courteous. The food is very eclectic and the presentations are beautiful. Escargot was wonderful, mussels delightful in the sauce, and the scallops to die for. The only negative of the whole experience was the lamb as very salty. Being that the menu changes daily it would be a new experience every time and trying new things for us is motivation to return. I would highly recommend this for a "date night""

I went and have to say the duck
was simply amazing! The menu was limited and the beer selection was small, but both had delicious choices, I ha the quail and sweetbreads for the appetizer, it was delicious! Then I had the duck, as I previously mentioned, the pairings with it went amazing. No complaints whatsoever!"

The hollow has the most amazing
food! We have been there a dozen times since it opened. We have loved everything that we have ordered (really impressive since we aren't really French food fans). All of the fish and the duck are our favorites. ALSO....get the Beet Box app. (Yes, beets...but I promise you will like it) Bonnie is the best server! She remembers us everytime we dine. We can't wait to go again!"

With a daily menu change, it's
hard to know what to expect if you return. The "chef prepared" bread and specialty butter was very BLAND. The recommended wine for our snapper turned out to be $14 a glass. The snapper was served in a bowl with sauce & veggies. This was pretty good, but hard to justify the $29 price. The only highlight was the snail appetizer. Total bill with shared appetizer, no salad, two snapper dishes, a shared desert, and tip was $133 for the two of us. A bit pricy for Georgetown,, TX"
