Diner Reviews
  • "Perfect outdoor dining location. Quiet street, great food, and fabulous service. We loved everything we ordered, particularly the gnocchi and summer artichoke salad. Will definitely be back."

  • "Within walking distance of most TRIBECA living rooms, this restaurant serves an electric and delicious menu. From the lamb starter to the salmon entree and fine wine parings, this was a meal to remember."

  • "My husband and I had a very enjoyable Sunday Brunch at The Harrison recently. I had a Pork Sandwich that was sumptuous, while he had a delicious version of Eggs Benedict. We both loved our appetizer of Hake Fingers. The wine list continues to offer an excellent and varied selection. Our server, Fernando was very attentive, friendly and courteous. It was a beautiful day and the outdoor dining was very pleasurable. I look forward to more enjoyable summer brunches and dinners at The Harrison."

  • "They do things right here. Great service. Outstanding food. The specials really are special, not just leftovers repurposed to move. It's a bit pricey but well worth the money."

  • "When I heard that the restaurant we were going to was way down in the financial district, I wasn't thrilled, but boy is this worth the trip. The food is terrific and the service was friendly, attentive and knowledgable. The gnocchi appetizer was a highlight and both of our fish entrees were very tasty and well prepared. They have an extensive wine list, not all crazy expensive. It's a nice space and didn't get too noisy, so it was easy to carry on a conversation. I would definitely return on a future trip to New York. "

  • "The food was extremely small and overpriced. After paying $35 for a prix fix lunch, my husband and I were hungry. The food took forever to come and the servers seemed disinterested. "

  • "During a recent visit from Napa Valley, we booked The Harrison on OpenTable. What a great discovery! Every dish we ordered was delicious. Service was excellent. Beautiful room and pleasant atmosphere. We have already recommended The Harrison to several friends and colleagues, and look forward to returning to enjoy another meal next time we visit NYC."

  • "I ate brunch here with 5 friends in the middle of the TriBeca film festival. The bloody mary's were great, and the food was a good match. Try the Mediterranean breakfast - delicious poached eggs w/ hummus, olives, and feta."

  • "Decided to hit up The Harrison, a favorite place in Tribeca, before heading to a screening at the Film Festival. This place is still great. The scallop appetizers were perfectly cooked and tasted sublime over diced beet salad. I had the roast chicken, not the most adventurous dish, but it had great flavor. This is a great room with attentive staff and an active bar. Strong wine list and recommended for romantic or special occasions. "

  • "Went to the Harrison for Easter Sunday brunch and loved it. The food was excellent. I found myself picking food off my partner's plate multiple times, especially when I found my plate empty The service was mixed. Our waiter seemed less than confident, but the issue that came up was handled well by management. I will try The Harrison again for dinner soon."

  • "Creative choices beautifully executed plus outstanding service and a pleasant atmosphere once again. That's why we go back to The Harrison, as do so many others."

  • "It was by no means busy, which does not justify our horrible attitude filled service. It appeared that the server was more interested in talking to other employees at the bar than taking care of us. When we did request service an underlined attitude of resentment was sensed (obviously he did not want to be there). When errors were made, or when we had to ask for things that should have been obvious, we were greeted with sassiness and no apologies. He took no responsibility, and we were overcharged for what we did not order. Beware and check your bill! This is one of the worst experiences that we have ever had at a NYC restaurant, and we eat out constantly. How embarrassing, as we had invited our out-of-town guest. A huge disappointment! "

  • "The dinner and the experience was excellent and did not disappoint. I brought my sister-in-law for dinner to celebrate her first trip to New York and her very "special" birthday. I wanted her to experience one of my favorite restaurants and she loved it. The waiter we had was very attentive and went out of his way to make our dinning adventure memorable. He made suggestions and they were warmly received. He was spot on! Thank you again for a terrific dinner. "

  • "I've been dining at The Harison for years, but always during dinner time. Recently I had a brunch for the first time at the restaurant, and I had a great time! The cornflake crusted French Toast, duck fat fries, and Cesar Salad was delicious. And even the restaurant looked very different with all that sunshine through a big windows. Service was very attentive and friendly. "

  • "Everyone was really friendly. The host and hostess were very pleasant and our server was very helpful with his wine suggestions. I was there with my husband, son and his girlfriend and each meal was outstanding. My son tried the oxtail and he raved about it. I had the grilled octopus and it was delicious. The pork chops had just the right amount of spice. The salmon was grilled just the way I like it. We will definitely return for another enjoyable meal."

  • "Food was delicious. Service was very attentive without hovering. Noise level was a shade too loud for normal conversation at the table. Would definitely go back."

  • "We had a lovely time celebrating my husband's birthday at The Harrison. The food was truly delicious and the wine list was very impressive. We are grateful to Beverage Manager, Kevin MacNeil, whose efforts made this evening most memorable. My husband, had the Lamb Neck Osso Bucco which he described as succulent and full of flavor. My stepson, had the N.Y. Strip that was juicy and tender (I couldn't help but taste it!). I had Skillet Roasted Chicken with potato puree. It was divine. We really fell in love with this restaurant. So much so, we went back for brunch on Sunday! Brunch was also outstanding. Our server, Max, was very attentive and was able to answer every question we had about the menu. We look forward to returning."

  • "The food was delicious. The pan seared gnocchi was incredible. There were multiple layers of tastes with the trout with hummus. My boyfriend and I would go back."

  • "The food was excellent. Trout and cod entrees were excellent as were the appetizers, ox tail and beet salad. Food portions were just enough. Attentive and courteous staff. We would visit again for less formal occasion."

  • "Not only was the food the best I've ever had, the entire experience has me wanting to come back the next time I visit."

  • "We had lunch at The Harrison and we were surprised that the whole menu was the Restaurant Week menu. Unlike other restaurants where a special one with limited choices is availabel, The Harrison allows many more choices. The food was very, very good. Service was attentive, but not hovering and the place is well apponted. One of our beat Restaurant Weeks meals after many."

  • "We had a great dinner here last night. However, the service is so-so. The last time we were here I felt the same way, but I thought it was just a fluke. Exact same last night. The food and the ambiance are nice, so we might be back, I wish the service didn't fall flat."
