The food was decent, the tartare and the burger were amazing, but the poutine was not what we expected. There was a herb that over powered the whole dish and that's all you could taste. Not very good. The service was good, however a bit on the slow side. I am guessing she had tables in another section other than the bar, or at least I hope so. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our lunchtime meal. I had the chicken sandwich and he had the rueben. His remarks were: "Now THIS is the Rueben I've been waiting to taste!". He loved it! I loved the flavorful chicken complimented by three cheeses, bacon, avocado and a spicy aioli sauce.
The beer menu is extensive and awesome and has something for everyone. We both love dark beer - I tried the New Holland Dragon's Milk and he tried the Left Hand Milk Stout. Both yummy. We started with an "appetizer" of housemade bacon (amazing) while we waited for our friends. The Bloody Mary bar alone could have been breakfast but we did order entrees. The staff was appropriately attentive, not hovering, but always available. Our waitress did an excellent job, both putting up with 3 jokers out for an evening of enjoyment, but also with beer recommendations.
