  • Far below Four Seasons' standards!

    Dined on 9/14/2014
I 've dined at many Four Seasons and can honestly say, this is the first time I have been disappointed. Our experience was not just below what we've come to expect, but rather below average by most standards. The service was terrible. On more than one occasion, someone from our table left their seat to find and ask our server for something we needed. We were seated outside on a beautiful patio, but it was so loud, a conversation was nearly impossible. I enjoy loud music, but we came to dine with old friends, not hear a concert. Our requests for less volume were ignored. The menu was uninteresting (unlike other Four Seasons) and I had trouble finding something I wanted to eat. We will not return any time soon.

We are new residents of Teton Village and were hoping to add this restaurant to our list of favorites. Unfortunately, our first experience was disappointing. The service was slow, the salmon overcooked, and the kale salad overdressed The one bright spot was the fries which the kids devoured.

Tuna Tartare w quail egg different & delish for this sushi lover. Hummus greek was g balance nicely, organic chicken truffle mac&chees wasn't over cheesy, light flavorful. Server recommend nice wine to compliment. Oher dishes at table, organic chicken and ny strip, both were happy. Didn't like my seat, near kitsch entry, table booths look like a better choice for me. I would return.

This experience was mostly good (the very good food- we had the après menu which was great and much-needed comfort food) and bad (VERY uneven service, and 4 different people came to our table-all pleasant, but a bit confusing to us). The bottom line would be don't go if you are in a rush; also, make sure to ask for the more casual menu if that's what you are up for- it is definitely available, but not offered outright at dinnertime.

Waited 25 minutes for our waiter to approach our table!! Not acceptable when you're working in an empty restaurant. Not going back to find out if this was an anomaly. Food was average, but if you're going to eat in Teton Village, there are plenty of better options (eg: Spur).

For a place connected to the Four Seasons Hotel Chain, it is quite surprising that the service could be so poor, especially with the prices they are charging. It was a quiet Xmas Eve & not busy at all. Appetizer dishes sat there and were not taken until the main dishes arrived (since there was no room), and we had to keep our utensils or else we would be waiting awhile for new ones (kinda like going to a diner). The waiter didn't know the punch of the day, how certain dishes were prepared, etc. When asked for new napkins from both the support person and the waiter, the support person was relatively prompt, bu the waiter brought them about 15 mins later! He even gave us the wrong check.

We were a little hesitant to dine here because of some of the previous reviews but are so glad we did. This is a Michael Mina restaurant, famed Chef from the West Coast. We did not know this until we were at the restaurant. We have dined at his restaurants in San Fran and Vegas. We were in the mood for Burgers. The Turkey Burger is the best I have ever had and my husband will order it next time. His Handle Burger was excellent as well But you must try the Charred Corn, unique and delicious. The jalapeño martini was spot on made with lime juice and aquave syrup. Restaurant has only been open since 12/12. Perhaps they were struggling in the beginning and thus some of the so so reviews. Service was excellent!!

We had just come from a free outdoor concert and were in the mood for a light dinner. We had the turkey burger and salmon burger. They were both exceptional. Our server promised me the turkey burger was the "best ever" and he was right. In addition, they came with delicious fries and a small serving a kale salad that was really good. Our daughter had the salad off the Children's menu, and it was fresh, simple, and perfect for her. We also shared the hummus plate, which I would highly recommend. We sat outside at the bar given it was a beautiful night. It was a great scene, very relaxed and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Although the staff tried hard the outdoor dining experience was poor direct sun and lack of umbrellas (that don't even tilt) made it uncomfortable (and who wants to be inside during our short summer season in JH)? really strange: the tables much too high for the chairs -- we felt like little kids sitting @ "adult" table seafood/bbq menu not memorable (and we tried several apps & entrees amongst our group) wines (both by the glass/bottle) expensive w/ no alternatives... music not enjoyable either -- catering to younger crowd (which did not exist; everyone there boomers for sure) "meh"

Very poor service by any standard. Unheard of at this class of hotel in my experience. No greeting staff, so a line waited to be seated -some gave up. Shoddy missed cues for service multiple times, at a 3/4 empty restaurant. A young, untrained crew that one assumes is seasonally hired. No manager on the floor. The food was acceptable, nothing special but only slightly below expectations. Booked for a special occasion as I thought this would be informal but with class. Will certainly give the Jackson Hole Four Seasons a pass in future, and a second thought to any Four Seasons.

I realize this is a new place, but I expected a higher level of service for a restaurant associated with the Four Seasons. When we got there, we asked to sit outside, which we were denied with no alt option (the restaurant never got more than 1/3 full the entire time, including outside). Then, we waited for 15 MINUTES (literally, I timed it) to be greeted by our server...she then only came by after I approached the hostess to let her know that we hadn't seen our server yet. Service was spotty at best from then on & we were double charged for items on our already outrageous bill for sub-par food. Four seasons needs to do some immediate training at this restaurant if they want it to be successful, until then don't waste your time or money!

We hesitated going as we had heard it was very loud and the tables were benches. It was a nice surprise to find booths and small tablles and the menu was great (more lobster in the Lobster corndogs please). We went on a Wednesday night and it was not noisy with crowds of skiers but the music could be turned down a notch or two since the speakers are right over the tables. It would make it easier to talk especially for us older folks. As we were walking in a foursome were leaving and I heard them say it was too loud and noisy. Maybe it was where they were sitting (I suspect so). I know the restaurant is opening to catch the younger ski crowd but don't forget those of us in our 50's, 60's and 70's. We will be who keeps you going in off season

The food was excellent but the waitstaff service was very disappointing. The management tried to remedy the situation but it was so widespread at the tables around us that it was an impossible task. I have been here to lunch repeatedly and several times at dinner in the last month and didn't experience the same problem. I hope they address this because the menu is great.

My comment comes from having travelled to a wide array of skiing destinations. Four Seasons's Peak offers clean, delicious food when you are hungry from skiing. This is the best choice on the mountain, and you can ski up to restaurant. Convenient with the quality you'd expect from Four Seasons in an athletic and sporty atmosphere. Lodge atmosphere. This is not fine dining- but a thoughtful selection of regions dishes to suit every diet- those that eat hot dogs and those of us who have a more refined palate, and want better food in an otherwise "bar food" environment of ski venues.

Great food and service. Only problem is that we were seated at a table that had no light over it, so that when the food arrived, it was hard to see it (it was the evening). Had to have the manager bring a light to see the steak. Table is fine for daytime, but not a good choice for evening, even if you like a romantic dinner. Still need to see your food!

A steakhouse with a gourmet twist. Right at the bottom of the hill in the Four Seasons Hotel, the ambiance is on the casual side. The menu is a bit limited with only a handful of steak choices and a couple of seafood items. The service was quick and efficient but the restaurant was pretty empty for a Friday night. The waiter forgot to bring my glass of wine with the meal and quickly offered it at no charge when I needed to remind him - a classy touch. The steaks were good, but do not rival the top steakhouses. Overall, a good experience that ended with a surprise - a plate of cotton candy with the bill. Interesting finish?

My husband was disappointed with the overall experience and the loud noise. I enjoyed my dinner, however the ambiance (casual, more family oriented *** rating) did not match up with the prices that were almost equal to the Westbank Grill (Four Seasons **** rating restaurant upstairs). The "cotton candy" was a fun tasty touch at the end.

For a restaurant like the Four Seasons, this was a disappointing dining experience. This was our 3rd time in a week eating there, lunch was a better experience. The place was practically empty and our steaks were overcooked. Service was the slowest I have experienced (our server, and I believe the only one on duty that night but there were 3-4 bus persons was either over worked or mostly distracted throughout the evening). We had to ask for additional shots in the drinks because they were quite weak. I am not a big drinker and if I cannot detect any alcohol then WOW, there isn't much in there. Upside, the cotton candy at the end of the meal was great and he brought me two servings since I was so excited.
